I also made a major move as a single mom, from the only home I knew, but God gave me a year's heads-up that He was moving me. My husband and I have been wanting to move away from the state we both grew up in and have raised 8 out of our 10 children here (still raising 2)..But it would require so many things to work out..moving from the West Coast to maybe down south, who knows..it can become so overwhelming and paralyzing..So, we just said you know what? We need to just give it to God and see how he works this all out for us according to His will..So much less scary knowing the one who created the universe, and us, is willing and more than able to handle all the details..Thanks for sharing your story❤️
It's the end of April and it freezing here in Pennsylvania. Your meal prep video showed up from last November and I watch. You definitely have skills. Your story is a wonderful testimony. I enjoyed it. I will be 50 next month raised to beautiful son's. God has never left me and my son's homeless. He knows I want my own home. Nothing spectacular but my own. It's so funny that I stumbled on your video today! We are right in the process of preparing to move almost 4000 miles away! We live in B.C Canada and are moving to Nova Scotia, Canada, from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. And kind of similar to how your husband had his idea of living in the South, I have thought for years that I'd like to either live on the East Coast, or in the U.K. My husband is from the U.K but it would just be too expensive to live there. Long story short, we have felt led by God to take the leap and move there, and we will also be going from renting to owning a house. God has been leading this whole thing so far, and all we have left to do is find the house that He wants for us, and actually make the move sometime in June. We currently have 5 kids. A moving truck will take our stuff, my husband will drive our van, and me and the 5 kids will fly. This should be interesting!
Amy this is amazing! We currently live in Waynesville, NC (where my husband is from) and we both have been strongly feeling God pulling us to move down to Alabama (where I am from)... so my husband has applied to a couple of jobs. We’ve been doing pretty good about giving this whole situation to God, but it’s getting to where I’m starting to get a little impatient and even though I really want this one job in particular for my husband.... I want what God wants for us and I know without a doubt that His ways are perfect. So this video was a much needed reminder to be patient, continue giving it to God, and everything will work out better than what we could ever plan or hope for. Thank you!!

Even though this vlog is an old one I decided to watch it and low and behold it was exactly what I needed! There is no time limit on God He can speak to us at a 10 year old vlog if need be .. but I have been struggling with some issues with one of our children who is grown and your words of encouragement was so so what I needed to hear .. just give it to the Lord and wait and have faith it will all work out in His perfect timing! No stress no worrying just give it up and trust it to the master who knows our child the one who gave them their talents their personality and that formed and created them! So that’s the plan let go and let God take over ! Thank you for being faithful to share your wisdom in your walk with the Lord . He is using your time and voice and outreach on your channel! This has come at the perfect time for me. We are in the process of packing, selling, and buying 2 1/2 hrs away from our family and friends. It's bitter sweet because we have 12 years of great memories in our home and some memories that we not so great but have helped shape us into who we are today. It's a big step for me and totally in God's hands!

When we bought our house 1.5 years ago God made everything fall into place perfectly! We closed quicker than our loan company had ever closed a home loan before! God is so good!
We are moving back to Vancouver island after 9 years living I northern Alberta - I feel sooo overwhelmed and tired. I NEED IT THIS. Worry for my kids and all. But we know God wants us back on the Island. That does not mean it’s easy.
Thank you so much for this video. We have a family of 9, my husband recently lost his job, and I homeschool. I felt like I would have to go back to work and God put it on my heart that He called me to be at home and will provide the rest. I am learning to trust in Him fully and to embrace where I am at. Leaving my life in God's hands is hard, because so many times I want to just fix it. And as you said, yes God will allow us to make our own decisions and even bless us where we are at...but nothing compares to following His will and the abundant blessing and ease that comes with that choice. I pray God points us in the right direction soon. We are hoping to move out of state (we are in Colorado) whenever God leads us too. There is nothing here for us anymore. Anyway, sorry for rambling. I know this video is a few years old, but it came up on my feed today (1/26/2021). I concur Amy, when God is part of the plan, we can't go wrong. My husband and I began praying for two things at the beginning of Jan. 2018 - 1) to be completely out of debt by the time we reached retirement age (we were 63 at the time) and 2) that He would give us a new purpose and direction for this next season of our lives. We were living in CA at the time. During a conversation with our son later that month, it became apparent to us that he and his wife could really use our help and support in raising our grandkids. Our son is in the Airforce and stationed at Wright-Patt in Ohio. After praying about it, and a lot of work getting the house ready, we put our home on the market and it sold in 3 days! Our adult daughter decided to move with us so our family would be together. We moved 2400 miles and have never looked back! By selling when we did, we were able to pay off all our debts and bought a home in Ohio with cash. We live one mile from our son and his family. We've joined a wonderful church and live in a terrific community. Although we've gone through a season of great sadness this last year - my husband went to be with the Lord in July, I can see God's hand in bringing us to Ohio. I continue to seek God's direction as to His purpose for me now, but I am at peace that I am in the right place. Blessings, Janell

So its just me finding a house and taking care of my 3 children and it is stressful at times, but God has certainly helped in keeping me Calm and patient. I needed this testimony so much! That reminder. God is good all the time! Sounds silly and foolish but this actually got me all teary-eyed...but I know He will provide and lead my family and I. We can’t buy right now but I know He is going to ensure we are going to be ok. And will see us through. Thank you!

Even though this vlog is an old one I decided to watch it and low and behold it was exactly what I needed! There is no time limit on God He can speak to us at a 10 year old vlog if need be .. but I have been struggling with some issues with one of our children who is grown and your words of encouragement was so so what I needed to hear .. just give it to the Lord and wait and have faith it will all work out in His perfect timing! No stress no worrying just give it up and trust it to the master who knows our child the one who gave them their talents their personality and that formed and created them! So that’s the plan let go and let God take over ! Thank you for being faithful to share your wisdom in your walk with the Lord . He is using your time and voice and outreach on your channel! This has come at the perfect time for me. We are in the process of packing, selling, and buying 2 1/2 hrs away from our family and friends. It's bitter sweet because we have 12 years of great memories in our home and some memories that we not so great but have helped shape us into who we are today. It's a big step for me and totally in God's hands!

When we bought our house 1.5 years ago God made everything fall into place perfectly! We closed quicker than our loan company had ever closed a home loan before! God is so good!

We are moving back to Vancouver island after 9 years living I northern Alberta - I feel sooo overwhelmed and tired. I NEED IT THIS. Worry for my kids and all. But we know God wants us back on the Island. That does not mean it’s easy.

Thank you so much for this video. We have a family of 9, my husband recently lost his job, and I homeschool. I felt like I would have to go back to work and God put it on my heart that He called me to be at home and will provide the rest. I am learning to trust in Him fully and to embrace where I am at. Leaving my life in God's hands is hard, because so many times I want to just fix it. And as you said, yes God will allow us to make our own decisions and even bless us where we are at...but nothing compares to following His will and the abundant blessing and ease that comes with that choice. I pray God points us in the right direction soon. We are hoping to move out of state (we are in Colorado) whenever God leads us too. There is nothing here for us anymore. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Just wanted to say I'm thankful to God that you listen to God's call on your heart to share and encourage others.

I know this video is a few years old, but it came up on my feed today (1/26/2021). I concur Amy, when God is part of the plan, we can't go wrong. My husband and I began praying for two things at the beginning of Jan. 2018 - 1) to be completely out of debt by the time we reached retirement age (we were 63 at the time) and 2) that He would give us a new purpose and direction for this next season of our lives. We were living in CA at the time. During a conversation with our son later that month, it became apparent to us that he and his wife could really use our help and support in raising our grandkids. Our son is in the Airforce and stationed at Wright-Patt in Ohio. After praying about it, and a lot of work getting the house ready, we put our home on the market and it sold in 3 days! Our adult daughter decided to move with us so our family would be together. We moved 2400 miles and have never looked back! By selling when we did, we were able to pay off all our debts and bought a home in Ohio with cash. We live one mile from our son and his family. We've joined a wonderful church and live in a terrific community. Although we've gone through a season of great sadness this last year - my husband went to be with the Lord in July, I can see God's hand in bringing us to Ohio. I continue to seek God's direction as to His purpose for me now, but I am at peace that I am in the right place. Blessings, Janell

So its just me finding a house and taking care of my 3 children and it is stressful at times, but God has certainly helped in keeping me Calm and patient. Omg Amy!! I can totally relate with your testimony on you moving. For I personally went through something similar when I purchase my first home. God is good in every way. Seeing this video brung me to tears of joy cause as you talked I felt so good. They were tears of joy, tears of satisfaction and of blessing.
