I sincerely hope that you're family appreciate just how truly amazing you are and how lucky they are to have you. I love to cook... But I'd have struggled with a merger quarter of this work load!. I'd have been sweeting profusely... pulling hair and probably pulling teeth a meager several hours into this monthly meal prep. Honestly; I'd have retired to the mountains and accepted a lonely life of solitude. How you've managed to stay so calm/collected and simply enegerized; is beyond me! Thier isn't many women like you out there, that's for sure. Loved your video, even though your slightly insane for taking on such a task. I can't believe you look exactly the same as when you started. 😯 I'd of been channelling Golem at this point, babling inconherently and climbing the bloody walls of Mordor!. I Just wanted you to know how great I think you are! All my best. Your completely bonkers btw... lol P.s feel free to adopt me... I'd make a excellent sous chef 😂

With your left over peelings, from washed carrot peelings, ends from celery, cabbage outer pieces, & the core, etc. Save those & place in a pot to boil for about 10-15 minutes. Take the vegetables out, throwing them out into compost pile or bin. From the broth you can use in soups, etc. Instead of buying a bunch of package broths.

Great tip because package broths have bad ingredients same as most bacons in supermarkets, they are usually at the end of the list example “Nitrites” “ red 40, yellow 5,6. Corn syrup ... etc. read and understand labels to prevent illness.

    Mexican Picadillo: (meat and potatoes)
1lb of ground beef-brown the meat and drain fat.
Then add in 1/2 an onion-chopped
    1/2 bell pepper-chopped
    1-2 cloves of minced garlic
    1 carrot- peeled and chopped
Let that cook down a little bit until onions are translucent.
1 large potato or 2-3 small ones- peeled and chopped.
1 can of tomato sauce-no salt (then water enough to cover the potatoes)
I season to taste with onion powder, ground comino (cumin), garlic salt and powder, pepper, chicken bouillon powder or cube and salt if needed.
Cover with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes. And when the potatoes are cooked through it’s done.
This feeds my family of 4 and we usually have refried beans or seasoned black beans as a side.

I was so inspired by the large batches of breakfast tacos ( earlier video) and using a roaster for bacon! I honestly feel like I’ve been cooking and prepping the hard way for a long time lol my hubby and kids love having pre made breakfast tacos every morning!! I can’t think of a better way to make bacon bits! TY so much for giving all of us awesome ideas and tips, if it wasn’t for watching your videos I would be doing dishes I’m used to and not being adventurous!! Thanks again!!

    Recipe from the UK
by far my easiest quickest tastiest recipe
    These are all estimates
    Sausage hash
Diced sausage, onions, beans, black pepper, seasoning of choice, mashed potato, mix it all together, add grated cheese and bake.
    It’s lovely 😍

As another big family, we loved watching this! Yes, we cook our whole potatoes in the instant pot and then use for baked potatoes or mash them! We have some gluten free people in our house, so it’s a little tricky, but we can use a lot of your ideas! I just purchased your school books for each of my elementary level kids, too. I’m not big on commenting on videos, but I do watch when I get a chance! We have 10 kids, ages 19 and under at home. :)

When I do a meatloaf I get hamburger, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, tomato sauce, bread crumbs, eggs and brown sugar, mix it all up and put it in freezer bag until We want meatloaf. Then I spray my 9x13 pan and put slices of bread in the bottom of the 9x13, put my meatloaf in the pan, put it in the oven at 400 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours my family just loves it. I am a hillbilly cook and don’t measure anything. I also use my house seasoning which is garlic powder, seasoning salt, and lemon pepper. The bread in the bottom of the pan soaks up the grease from the meatloaf. I have tried a lot of your Recipes and my family loves those also, so dinner is fast after working all day and coming home to cook on top of being on my feet all day. Thank you for quick meals.

Yes! Popping them in the microwave for a few seconds does wonders to make them pliable. I do it all the time for chicken enchiladas that I make ahead no over cooking issues for me.

    • @nessababyy818
      @nessababyy818 5 лет назад +3

Princess Huddini .... ? you just warm them up. you don’t cook them or toast them. so no they won’t be browner. 30 seconds in the microwave and they are soft to work with. and they won’t crumble. microwave doesn’t crisp them up or change their color.

I know so many are bashing you for prepping the food alone. With a large family, I'm pretty sure that there are chores shared by everyone. One of the chores may be having the children actually cook the nightly meals. We may not actually see that part, but it is a possibility. You prep and freeze... they thaw and cook.
You have inspired me to make more creative meals. I get tired of trying to figure out what to cook each night. Asking my family usually doesn't help, so its all up to me to decide...lol

My husband loves when I make what he calls dirty buffalo rice (p.s. you can use beef it comes out the same way but I always have ground buffalo) it is 1 lb of meat, one green pepper, half an onion cook all that until the green peppers are cooked then add 1 can of diced tomatoes and 1 packet of toco seasoning let that simmer. When that is all nice and cooked and combined add 1 cup cooked rice (p.s it is 1 cup of uncooked rice cooked in two cups of water with a bit of salt) mix it all together and it is amazing. I like to eat it with crackers. -Robin B
