I bought exactly the same guitar 2-3 years ago and couldn't believe how well and wholesome it was made, finished, and how well it plays. Literally, right out of the box, she went to a gig - no setup was needed whatsoever. A perfect instrument. IMHO, the best value for money there is.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I love mine Rich…..I have exactly the same guitar, I have a vid of it on my channel, it is a superb quality guitar … keep the vids coming 👍🏼
OOOH Prs they are nice looking guitars - if i ever win the lottery i will have such an array of guitars and probably do what old Rev. Billy Gibbons likes to do which is travel europe and find weird and wonderful guitars!
24 frets I know what you mean thsts more metal shredder territory although my brothers 1991 Charvell had 24 frets ans inutilised them sir. But happy with standard les paul amount . Have a great weekend mate
Control knobs, selector switch and vibrato end cap would look better with them in either all cream, or all black. It spoils the look with them being different colours. The book-matching on the top should be a bit better aligned than it is though - the way it is would annoy me..
They’ve matched the tips with the zebra pickups and knobs to the guitar colour. Hardly ever see a perfectly matched book match so not fussed about that either 👍🏻
Though the nut is off a bit, or a bit short, should be sold as a B grade. That is a very nice guitar Rich, looks nicer because of the finish! We now have a shop that carries Prs guitars, so it is nice to be able to try before buying.
Thats another very nice geetar you got yourself there :) It's a shame about the swamp ash but you got a great geetar out of it :) Intresting the nut on yours doesnt totally fill the slot, had the same issue on both of mine, was cut well enough though. Do you find the edge of the board blocky on yours too? Ended up rounding the fretboards, stripping the laquer off the necks and giving em both a super slick finish on mine 😈 Love that finish though, tis a classy bird :) Great vid as always sir and will keep sayin it til you believe it... you're far from a novice now sir, you got them skills :)
Thanks again John. Maybe I’ll drop the Novice moniker if get somewhere this year with the lessons…. Yes, nut is cut well enough, strange that it’s a bit short like yours. First impression is the frets and neck shoulders are fine, still a bit of heft to it though, hardly a ‘thin’ neck. I don’t mind the gloss, it’s smooth enough and I’m a weirdo, I could never ‘deface’ a guitar with scotch guard lol 😂
@@thenovicenoisemaker the nuts the next thing on the hit list for my pink 24, its been bugging me for a while but it plays so nicely :) They deffo have some heft to em, not quite as much as the tremonti ones, they feel closer to a gibbo than anything just with that awesome trem system :) 100% with you on the hardly a thin neck, they feel nice though. Haha i didnt just deface them I took them down to bare wood ;) the baritone ended up down to bare wood where I play most and left some of the paint near the heel end :) You should try it, very theraputic ;) haha (possibly on a beater geetar to begin with though) 😁
The guitar looks grate , better then standart 24.the pickup as humbacker sound deep and warm.i don't understand the split to single because when it split it doesn't sound like fender, it sound different.
@alexgochman6654 No. You pay extra for a flame top or pay more again for the quilt top with matching headstock. The latest one of the latter has an ebony fretboard too
Not sure if this is the latest stock or it’s been supersede but it is a new guitar. The more expensive model has quilt top and matching headstock with ebony board and going the other way to the Standard, you don’t get a flame tip like this one.

Awesome! I’ve had 10 SE models now, 9 from new and all perfect straight from the box too. Amazing QC 👍🏻
My son has the semi-hollow version of that, really good guitars. They feel very well put together
Nice! Nearly bought that a couple of years ago, beautiful
The top on that one looks a lot nicer than the others I’ve seen.
Yes it’s nicely figured 👍🏻
I chose it from their images
Sir how’s the neck of the guitar, compared to ibanez wizards? I hope you can also do some solar guitar reviews😎
Nothing like a wizard at all, chalk and cheese. More along the lines of fender really and of course gloss finish.
Solar, 🤔
It’s the right choice, Rich… and she’s gorgeous 😍
Thank you Carsten!!🥰

I hadn’t realised it was a different PRS , 😂, nice guitar 👍👍🤠🎸
🤣🤣
Dont blame you for sending Swamp ash back, surprised they didn't offer a straight swap (unless they did of course)
They did but said they’d prefer to send a spare part…
Spare part is less in shipping so they prefer to replace the part but it's a hassle for the customer.

@dragan4658 that’s good news. Nut is a bit annoying but I can live with it, it’s not obvious thank goodness
@dragan4658 yep 👍🏻
I really want a PRS, but I love Taylor acoustics. Please help aha
lol 😂
That's a nice guitar Rich and dare I say it I prefer it to the swamp Ash one 😀
Me too!
I like, i like alot!

Thanks Alex, I’m very happy with it. Coil splits rarely sound like a proper single coil Strat or tele but they just give you some additional options 🙂

Lovely veneer on that one. Mine was a bit of a dud, serves me right for not buying it from Peach 😂
lol 😂
Bet it’s still a lovely guitar though 😃
Sounds like the first one from peach wasn't that good....🤔🤔
@geoffreyalder7275 and this one has a very loose output jack. Just the little things hey 😵💫

Great guitars. For me they are lacking mojo though. Great guitars just not for me.
I get that, they’re kinda too perfect and lack some individual personality somehow
