Rolls should've made an electric car a long time ago. The effortless torque and complete silence compliments what a rolls embodies perfectly. Weight doesnt matter in this segment and with the battery on the floor itll corner very well for its weight.
This only makes sense for Rolls Royce, because typically their customer base doesn’t have to deal with the charging headaches, and they are traveling very far so range isn’t an issue. There’s a reason why every manufacturer has all but abandoned their EV plans
Green one graced past in Woodford Cheshire. Close to Allegro green. And it looked something else, green hue apart. This example in this green just looks money and class if into this kinda thing. Must admit. It is epic. Love how RR just do it better.
@CarsofGlasgow Off the top of my head, I would think of the Wraith as, broadly, the same size. I'm thinking of something from RR that's still super luxury but more medium size.
It’s not that impressive that Charles Rolls was talking about electric powered cars in 1900 considering that in 1900, over a third of all cars on the road were electric. I guess they don’t want to tell you that part😂😂😂
How many of these sub numbers are dormant accounts ?...Paul will be lucky if he has 50k active subs....the channel is dead, but Paul won't turn off the life support machine...
Supercars of London Awesome Review I think it's awesome that you got to Drive that Absolutely Gorgeous Rolls Royce Specter and I think they definitely seem to be worth it
“What’s going to rival this car” Literally nothing this decade. Bentley, Aston, Ferrari, Porsche, have all shown their new generation vehicles and it’s nothing but hybrids and V6 - V12 engines. The Spectre is in fact the vehicle of the decade
Any Rolls Royce owner who needs to go further than the range of this car is just taking their jet. Range anxiety is literally poor people problems to these owners
If you’re going to use this as a daily runabout then the range isn’t an issue. What about popping up to the house in Scotland from Surrey? This means two to three charges. And possibly doubles the journey time. It’s the same for all EVs. Until the range is at least doubled on all cars I won’t touch them with a barge pole.
It's surely a beautiful car. However, some essentials for me are missing - 4 doors, a sunroof (not worried about star roof lining personally)...and the quoted mileage battery distance is far too low. To be really fussy - the stalks on the steering wheel housing are cheap looking BMW standard parts with a bit of leather stitched round the shafts - they look cheap and are cheap. P.S. Better not do any for example European long tours with such a poor battery quoted range. For me this is a material issue to exist for such a premium expensive RR
Wrong. Rolls Royce achieved absolute silence in their cars many years ago , diesel or electric. They reintroduced noise as they found they had overdone it. Customers didn’t like the dead sound/environment.
That paint is absolute 🔥

Interestingly I’ve seen two spectres at service station charging. Both up here in Scotland, one was charging next to an ami

Wish RR would make a car 90-95% the dimensions of this.
@@davidkeenan5989 isn’t that a wraith ?

@@davidkeenan5989 Aww I get you, the Wraith is large at 5285mm but the Spectre is Gigantic at 5,475 mm
4:45 Oh the Maybach is out. And seeing it in person made me want to gouge my eyes out.
I was going to say that! And I agree, it's ugly.
Thanks for giving Huawei a Big Up!.

Can we get 3000 more subs for this channel, so SOL can finally get past 900k subs? Been stuck at 897k for over a year.
Its about to start dropping off soon
Alot of dead subs

Please stop putting Paul down. He is very good at his craft.
His lack of engagement via replying to his audience has negatively impacted his reasonable content.
😂😂 it’s because he’s stuck in the past with that dreadful r8
Stunning car ….should be for the money 👍🏻😎
Thank you bmw😊
🤘😎🤘
lmao those headlamps are a fkin joke

Why anything it costs less than a dime to drive a rolls
Lost me when you told me about your phone jewellery......Apples are for fashion victims - sorry, but you know it is true!
Apple is not perfect.

The range isn’t magnificent. Will look a bit odd at the chargers round the back of my BP garage.

Paul mate there already is an electric Maybach. The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680.
Is there a eqs maybach suv too ?
Very informative and interesting video Paul.
Great video Paul!
It's as beautiful as you! 🙂
There is a noticeable rise in video quality. Keep it going and the views will rise as well!!

I'd rather have 4 MK4 Supra's...
How many Supras can you drive at once?
