I actually cried when you were talking about the Awdry Extravaganza 2. I was in some of the images, and that was my first ever time meeting people from the thomas fandom in person. This year was amazing, I'll definitely be going again.

I just watched the whole video, and it was absolutely amazing to hear about it. The fact you got to meet all types of Thomas fans is crazy, both young and old. I hope I get to go to events like these one day.
You're a legend for coming over here Adam haha. And not just that, but all your other adventures before that! Sounds like a wonderful year, I'm so glad you had all these great experiences! I relate to your disbelief of what you're capable of; back in 2018/19, I only went to one meetup a year, and it was groundbreaking to me. In 2021, I went to FIVE, not even counting the several times I met up with folks in my own state. It sounded crazy but I did it anyway and didn't regret a second of it. Obviously be wise about money and other obligations, but absolutely keep "being crazy" because you're right, this is what living is. Good got on a plane at a moment's notice and proved to everyone that it's possible. Your presence inspired me, and more than anything, it was just so lovely to see you! I'll never forget the feeling of seeing your face and being like "ADAM?!" You're welcome over here any time your gut tells you! Also, beautifully told story here, loved the editing and a lot of really great pictures and video. Also JESUS I haven't even seen that clip of Henry's tender exploding what the fu
If I'd a nickle for every time I surprised you, it would probably fund my next 5 years of my Thomas meet ups! Nah for real tho, it was an honor meeting you Lemmy, you really inspire me too. AND you are also perfectly welcome to stay in Ireland any time you feel like getting on a plane too!
Nice wee video that. Was great seeing you at the extravaganza. Also incase anyone is wondering why I looked so stern in the photo, I had a bit of a cold that day from the previous evening. It poured heavily with rain after the Saturday lecture and I had no coat with me while walking back to Wharf Station. I looked like a drowned Rat when I got back (Funny, seeing as I am one of The Rats helping with the event) Plus we were slightly tired on the Sunday, so that would also explain the expression. I have your wee wagon and the Duchess model in a special cabinet I have which I store very special items that mean quite a lot to me.
It warms my heart that they mean that much to you, that you'd store them in a wee cabinet! Nice meeting you too. (And tbh, I actually think you look fine in the photo xd)
I would love to meet everyone at the premier of An Unlikely Fandom. Unfortunately, I’m slammed with work and I don’t know what I am doing on November 27th when it releases. Could be working, could be with family, who knows.
I'm a Thomas Fan....in Italy. I currently cannot go to the Awdry Extravaganza cuz i don't have a passport, wich is pretty expensive and there is a lot of queue right now. It's 2 years i hope to get it, but I think I'll have to wait another year. You are lucky yk?
