I could NOT stop laughing at this, definitely for the memes. Tom is such a vibe, only met once but clicked immediately at SVR gala, both agreeing to stuff our friend themidlandterrier into L95’s funnels at SVR while Paul Lawrence and themidlandterrier confused and hungry trying to get us into the cafe for food then to run onto 7714 and ride the train back to kiddiminster. The parody of the ad at the start struck about 15 different nerves in my brain, as someone who saw that very same as for chomish land when I was younger, (I saw that and the Christmas one loads) it was funny, nostalgic, and goofy. Thank you.

I'm actually so jealous, this is my idea of holiday heaven!! Can't believe you found the Tralee & Dingle Railway book, the same engine from Co Kerry I based my Irish Engine. Definitely have to check out these railways in the New Year!

In 2023 I was in the UK too. I was in London. I saw nearly all of the big stations of London.

I've been going on Holiday to Thomas Land annually since 2018.
The events leading up to Drayton Manor I bet was a lot of fun, maybe I might probably visit some of these places if I ever do go to England one day cause it looks like tons of fun!
I went to Thomas Land a lot when I was little, and I remember going as early as when it first opened. It was a yearly thing, and I always loved it. Don’t think I’ve been since 2018, and it’s a shame the park around it has shut so much down and changed so much since.
They haven't really Shut down much really. Apocalypse the big drop tower had to go because all but Drop 2 broke and they couldn't afford to repair it. G-Force(the rollercoaster) had too go due to technical issues. Pandemonium had to go because the park is going for an even more family friendly view due to new management
doing the runaway theme on the troublesome trucks ride was class.

I got to go to Drayton manor but didn’t see the props as they were remodelling the layout. I also went to Statfold barn where I met Luke Ryan and most of Awdry’s models.

I used to go to Drayton Manor every year yet never knew the models were there. Also I wish to go to the Dean Forest Railway. I already went to the Bluebell Railway earlier in the month though. My profile picture is from there.

I actually went to Drayton manor 3days after my birthday from my mom (13/09/23) I haven’t been there in over 5-7 years I am 12 years old now and I will always remember Drayton manor (I loved it)

I once went to Drayton Manor and thus Thomas Land for a school trip.
Annoyingly i forgot to check out the place where the show models were.
I'll never get another chance to see them, even if they're not kept in the best state.

Howcome the engines at Talyllyn go backwards/cab-forwards a lot?
there's no loop or turntable on the railway, so when they get to the end of the line, the engine has to pull the train from the back.
