Do you want your cake to taste like it came from a bakery? Well, there's only 2 steps.
1. Go to a bakery
2. Get a cake (purchasing is optional)
PUT THE BREAD IN THE BAG
Purchasing is, definitely, positively optional 👍
I'd quite agree.

I wonder what those people would say about anime stickers all over a car, probably 'i almost never leave my house, and probably own a sword, so you better not even try'
I have a magnet from getting honor roll, and a sticker for bad dragon, I don’t really put stickers on my truck
@@malice6081 There is zero shot you just admitted to having a bad dragon sticker on your car
Probably own a sword but definitely either have the physique of gorlock the destroyer or of a toothpick
@BigFella12 my hubby is a personal shopper at HEB, he has the calves of a cyclist, and the torso of a backyard grilling dad lol. Remember if an anime nerd has their own car they also have a job to pay for it (hopefully)
No no, not a sword, a katana 🤪 /j
I grew up with stories about Skinwalkers.. I could go on about them for hours if given a half chance, including several stories by the locals making fun of paranormal investigators thinking it is funny to trespass while looking for them...
24:00 The only "Cryptid" my area has turned out to be a dead raccoon, I'm not even joking about that
Nice
that thing on the beach that went viral forever ago?
Robin, I have another odd heart attack symptom. I had Swine Flu (second time!) and I was recovering when a tremendous feeling of impending doom hit me. I called 911, I was diagnosed as having had a heart attack. My only symptom was "I'm doomed"...
Ah great, me and everyone in my family have all been to the ER multiple times thinking we were having heart attacks, only to be told they were anxiety attacks. I feel doomed all the time lmao 😂😅
47:44 essential oils have a place. My sister had a roller ball of one to help her anxiety, worked amazing. And as bug spray it works great on me as my skin turns lobster with normal spray and the sensitive skin stuff does nothing. It has a place but it’s not a cure all.
yeah essential oils are great on my skin, but its definitely not a miracle cure
@@barritoothythey can be helpful for small everyday things like stress, headaches, and bug repellent. They cannot cure long term illnesses
Ancient herbal medicine had some basis in fact through trial and error and are the starting point for stronger & more effective modern pharmaceuticals. Raw plant oils (from leaves, moss, bark, roots) can have effects like reduction of pain, swelling, nausea, and deterring insects. However, certain other plants are highly poisonous. And some that do have benefits can be irritating unless mixed into a salve to apply or made edible. Basically, don't do anything unless you have an expert source to reference. And ... a few drops of commercial oil put into a bottle of water... is for making scents, not curatives.
Im not sure the reason America uses the measurements it does, but the reason they don't use the metric system is because when the country was being founded, george washington had a friend if France who he wanted to bring over metric weights to America, but the guy got lost at sea and eventually died in pirate captivity (or something like that, im not too sure). Also, if you're ever wondering why American use units like "_____ was about 30 washing machines long" or something like that, it's because people know how long those things are and saying there are ___ about of them just kinda puts certain distances into perspective.
Fahrenheit to us just makes more sense to us just on a human perceived temperature. It's a scale based on us. In scientific settings the metric system does get used and Celsius because that's what everyone else uses and scientifically it makes more sense.
@@scorchingbreadrealistically to you whatever system you grew up with makes more sense to you. I grew up with the metric system and Celsius and I just cannot wrap my head around Fahrenheit. Whether one system is objectively better or not people will always prefer the one they understand
@@itsjustmenova yep very true. People always prefer what's familiar. My comment wasn't really saying one was better than the other, just explaining moreso the reasoning behind fahrenheit.
9:35 the baby on board sticker is actually for EMS, so that if you ever get in an accident and you're incapacitated they know that theres a "baby onboard" so they know they need to look for it and give it medical attention if needed.
As someone who grew up in Japan, the tally mark thing you said and about it looking like hangman made me laugh so hard
In terms of copper patina... People choose it because it's a naturally occurring phenomenon that isn't BEIGE
I prefer beige
I love this subreddit so much! It’s funny & oddly educational❤🎉
Well I learned that my 2 fav apples (gala and Fuji) are the 2 sweetest, but I’d argue that their texture is also too tier.
2:08 My grandma has a history with messing up cakes. One time she bought a cake from the supermarket which would have needed to be baked in the oven before being served- well she simply served it without baking
Idk why but this is so funny to me 😂

12:55 I live in Georgia (unfortunately) and the reason for school closings during so little snow is the lack of infrastructure around it. Most of the snow clearing machinery will come from other countries or cities.
Since it's not a common occurrence, they can't justify the expense I figure.

34:57 Atomic bombs use radioactive metals to generate their power- think the first few dozen bombs tested, and the two used in war. They're weak for a nuclear bomb, but still strong enough to wipe almost my whole town of ~100k people off the map. Hydrogen bombs are essentially mini stars- they fuse hydrogen isotopes, the ones we're trying to make power with, together to make helium, at an insane rate, and can use depleted uranium or more common radioactive materials as their main source of fission.
TL DR: Atomic bomb make metal go big boom, H-bomb make tiny star on earth and WAY bigger boom
Ya know this was ACTUALLY HELPFUL
YEAHHHH IVE BEEN WAITING FOR COOLGUIDES
If marshmallows exists do swampmallows exist?
20:55 it is worth noting that the vast majority of our food and natural resources come from the red regions of this map. If you remove farm subsidies the colors on this map flip
Someone living in southwest kentucky here, one time there were like 3 inches of snow and school didn’t close. (Time stamp: 12:50 )
No shot, really? Kentucky, of all places?
@@DrakeCowley I was surprised, too. One time it was even around 5, but that day, there already wasn’t gonna be any school.
@Monkayvr251 I mean, where I live 5 inches is childs play, they'd only cancel school if we get like 3 feet or smtn (which we do sometimes get) But I didn't know it snowed that much in Kentucky. Interesting. (Central Minnesota by the way)
1:43:11 this reminds me of when JCPenny had that new ceo that decided to change their pricing so that instead of things being like, 50 dollar shirts constantly 'on sale' for 10 dollars, to just being 10 dollars all the time. They lost so much money doing that.
Bro, during my training as a diplomat I had to learn to use all of those utensils and plates and stuff for proper formal etiquite, but not once in my 4 years actually working as one have I ever needed to know how to use more than 3 forks, 3 cups, 3 knives, and 3 plates
I do think the Cistercian numerals have a charm to them, it’s a fun thing to teach yourself for an hour in an afternoon. However if I recall it isn’t used for complex math.
Dont take what I say as absolute but I think it was used for simple things like numbering pages / notes, lines on music sheets and stuff like that. Possibly wine barrels too, but again I’m not an expert on it.
*NEW (supercut) VIDEO IDEA*
I know it'd be a ton more editing work, but I think the results would be worth it.
1) tag each post that multiple narrators have done
2) splice those all together, so that we only see it once, just addressed in turn by each Narrator!
3) intersperse those with each narrator's unique bits
you can arrange it so that the shared ones act as transitions, such that if ALL of the Emkay narrators have done a particular post, it will start with unique posts of one 👉 shared posts starting with theirs 👉 end the shared posts segment with the next narrator's take on it 👉 enter the segment of unique posts of the narrator whose post ended the share segment.
It could really turn the supercuts up to 11, and make them really shine as "new pieces" rather than just laying old vids end to end in premier and calling it a day 😅
it also opens the door for the editor to inject new comedy with captions!
Think about it, call me, we'll do lunch! ☎🥪
I never tried the whistling thing before... and just like that, through the first attempt, i nailed it! :)
1:12 it doesn't rule over the birds, but the bugs, and with quite the iron talons too
32:54 Also there is "before:(year)" or "after:(year)" which is really helpful, I often search "before:2020" when trying to figure out niche things and its nice
I didn't realize this video was recently posted and was surprised that the comments were pretty recent
Those are some cool guides
Omfg the whistling tutorial ACTUALLY worked for me 🤯
5:57 I love how my dear country Chile has to take up 2 rows
I physically can’t whistle like that. I’m so badly tongue tied that I can’t move it in the way that allows me to do that 😭
46:09 Yes, ginger tea stops nausea. ginger is known to cure nausea.

FINALLY ALL OF COOLGUIDES
8:57 jadropping science has made a great tier list of american measurements but most of all he explained them very well
A family friend of mine was having a heart attack for 4 days, like she went to the hospital and they were like “wait when did this start” it started on Wednesday she went to the doctor on sunday and was still having the heart attack
Man really called me out for doing laundry while the video played
The aromatics listed for the tea thing is mostly good advices. Ginger gives a good kick and works wonders for hangover headache and nausea. Green tea helps metabolism as does coffee, it's the caffeine. Dunno about cold, but drinking hot liquids when you have a cold feels good, clears your nose for a bit, and can thin out mucuses, so I guess whatever tea you like would work.
Also, the easiest access to dopamine and endorphin is... orgasming... I once caught a horrible fever that made every joint in my body ache like they've been drenched in lemon juice, and I, in the midst of pain, remembered the fact. So I did the thing, working through pain, and the pain went away for about 20 mins, long enough for me to fall asleep.
13:36 is my favorite
Thats not how the Dunning Krueger effect works...its not to say that confident people know less...but instead, its that having less knowledge in a field means that you dont grasp the full complexity of the subject, so therefore, have a higher confidence in your bredth of knowledge. But as your actual knowledge increases, so does your awareness of the complexity, and your confidence in how much you know goes down until you become expert enough for your confidence got back up.
2:21 ever since i saw the og vid ive been doing this and tbh it makes all my sweets 20x softer and moister, would recommend

I love how it said that any snow calls for schools closing on the west coast 😂
Fun fact! With that colour blind scale thingy- I’m actually a Tritan Colourblind. The rarest type of Colour Deficiency.
9:00 In 1793, Thomas Jefferson requested artifacts from France that could be used to adopt the metric system in the United States, and Joseph Dombey was sent from France with a standard kilogram. Before reaching the United States, Dombey's ship was blown off course by a storm and captured by pirates, and he died in captivity on Montserrat.
Since America NEVER got the reference weights and measures, the US never publicly swapped.
Fun fact a hermit crab can live for 40 years (in the wild not in captivity because they don’t do well)and grow to be the size of a coconut
8:58 sure, I'm happy to explain why America does this. The answer is because the English did it first and then changed later. In fact if you look at most things that other members of the Anglo-Sphere Mach Americans over you can often find that it started off as a British thing first
For anyone wanting to know why you put the black on bare metal in the dead car, most car batteries emit hydrogen gas which is highly explosive (see Hindenburg disaster). You are supposed to mount it to a bare piece of metal at least a foot away from the battery, most likely on the engine somewhere so the starter has an almost direct connection.
