I had a rooster who would try to fight me every morning. It's like he would get up thinking all right. Today's the day mfer. After a few go arounds, he would realize it wasn't and would be super friendly the rest of the day
I've had those small roosters and hens too when I lived at the countryside. Loved them. They are always busy looking for wurms or insects, sand bathing, etcetera. And if the rooster finds something to eat, he calls the hens to eat it. Lovely and beautiful animals.
He reminds me of our Buckbuck we found on the side of the road near our rural home. He was with us for several years and we gave him hens he tended and protected. He was a funny guy, and just magnificent. We'll always have a loving spot in our hearts for Buck. ❤
That's awesome. Fresh eggs, flea and tick control, entertainment, a driveway intruder alarm... chickens, guineas, and ducks really are great creatures to have around.
what a great story! I don't think you were chicken people before, but you are now! So thankful for you and your husband's HUGE HEARTS! Kyle is a beautiful rooster, and it amazes me how much animals have to teach us. Enjoy your lovely feathered little friends!
Sweet story…chickens are wonderful little beings if you have the time for them. My chickens were free to roam and were so happy. I really enjoyed spending time with them.
I’ve learned a lot from watching animal videos on RUclips. Just thought chickens ate grass, seeds. Boy was I wrong they practically eat everything. Their feathers are very beautiful. Glad you found him a family. They are very social minded. ❤
Romance can blossom anywhere...anytime. When it happens in the animal world we humans are fortunate to see it unfold. As one of my fellow commenters so beautifully said "we are all souls wrapped in different packages."
"Kyle opened up a whole new world for me." That quote right there. People need to know that these sentient beings can be just as lovable and compassionate as their dog or cat. Sadly, roosters are slaughtered by the millions, probably billions every year.
I rescued two rooster-clutchmates and they've been with me for over 2 years. Outside during daylight and at night they sit in front of my Ring doorbell and crow. Syd & Johnny 🐓🐓 When they're at the water bowl next to my cats and/or my 130lb. bulldog, it quite amusing and heartening. PEACE 💜
That's wonderful that you have such an eclectic family of pets, and that they get along so well. However, I would either have to pen the rooster at night, or serve them up for Sunday dinner if my Ring oorbell alerted me every time the little buggers crowed throughout the night!!! (JOKING, people!!!) Well, about Sunday dinner anyway. How do you get any sleep?😟😔🥱😞

Thank you guys for not only taking care of & keeping him, but also giving him his very own flock with which to socialise. Well done. Nice feel-good story. 👍♥️
Why anyone would abandon a rooster that gorgeous is beyond me; if you have an animal you can't or don't want to care for anymore, find a place/person who can and _will_ provide for them. Ask around, search the internet, make a social media post; _something._
They sometime escape, most think chicken are dumb but they aren't, this one might still be young into adult age, most get lost while out and about
That was someone's prize rooster. The comb is cubbed with precision. Someone loved that boy.
What a story! These people are so awesome and sweet.
Roosters are highly intelligent. The way they look after and protect their flock is like nothing else. They're amazing.
I had a rooster who would try to fight me every morning. It's like he would get up thinking all right. Today's the day mfer. After a few go arounds, he would realize it wasn't and would be super friendly the rest of the day
All living beings need companionship and this is beautiful.
😊👍❤️❤️

I have a rooster of that breed and he is very chill. Takes good care of the hens as well.
Sweet story…chickens are wonderful little beings if you have the time for them. My chickens were free to roam and were so happy. I really enjoyed spending time with them.
This is just sweet. Too sweet.
This was so cute! Such a sweet Birb!!!!
He has beautiful colors.
He’s a true gentleman!!!
These birds look very similar to a French/Belgium breed known as Ardenner. They look very happy together and you are doing a wonderful job ❤
what a lovely rooster
Roosters and other birds are just adorable ❤❤
I’ve learned a lot from
watching animal videos on RUclips. Just thought chickens ate grass, seeds. Boy was I wrong they practically eat everything. Their feathers are very beautiful. Glad you found him a family. They are very social minded. ❤
It’s a French Bred Rooster. A "Leghorn" one. The most handsome bred.
Cool fact. It’s French National Animal 🟦⬜️🟥🇫🇷🐓
So sweet!! ❤❤❤❤❤
he knew you guys were wonderful people bless
Kyle is a real cutie. Glad he found the right family :]

What a beautiful bird a very handsome young lady for a rooster😂 glad Kyle found her in time
He is a thing of beauty! Love how bright his colors are😊
I rescued two rooster-clutchmates and they've been with me for over 2 years.
@@SilverAuntie they crow to be let in. In the morning they come to crow at my bedroom door. Let them out with the dogs. Still better than kids! 🤡🤣
Thank you wonderful lifesavers you are beautiful kind 🤗
My gosh, this story just melted my heart. ❤️❤️❤️😍 so beautiful
Kyle IS adorable!♥️ What a cute video!🤗
