Sorry to break that bubble to you but "love" between animals - at least in the wilds - is very much about status, proficiency, resourcefulness, strength, health and yes, even looks. We humans didn't "invent" those concepts, we're mammals; we merely do what other animal species have done for millions of years. However, credits to animals (outside of humans) for one thing: usually when the relationship is established, it stays for good (usually... even then, it depends on the species).

However, please don’t make the mistake of viewing them as entities that can provide you with “goods” as that is a very slippery slope. Cows make milk for their calves. Please understand. Again, you’re doing amazing. Keep up the empathy.
Sounds like me. I’m running out of space - 20 dogs, 6 cows, 2 steers, 1 bull & a new baby calf with 5 more on the way, a horse, an emu, & a bunch of cats
Margaret is such a lucky lady! She has a devoted husband and an adorable house. 😂❤
Life goals 💯😁
Margaret and Steve are beautiful! I have had chickens and a rooster. At night the girls would lay down and he would spread his wings over them--their blanket. Margaret's and Steve's affection for each other remind me of how fascinating and loving animals can be. Thank You for sharing. God Bless❤❤❤
sorry it may seem inappropriate but can I ask you a question.?
You mean you had hens and a rooster, roosters are chickens too!
I like when the roosters cover them, it's adorable. I have a rooster and hen that I keep and they're like these two in the video, except I let both come into the house at night. On cold days my rooster will try to cover me too so I won't get cold. It's pretty funny and cute.
Every wife should be so lucky
Long, happy, and healthy life to these two 'love birds' and your family. 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The sweetest story. Made me cry 😅❤😊
ME TOO!! It's so sweet ! He's all, THERE SHE IS!. omgsh~😭gush
LOL. Me too. I thought whats wrong with me. Why am I crying?
This is so adorable and instantly cheered me up. 🥰
Me too. I don't know why, but I found myself.... tearing
Me too !💝
I really enjoyed having chickens. They’re very sweet.
It's so funny how protective roosters get. A lot of them will pick a favorite hen like this too from what I've seen.
I never knew they could walk down stairs. It's sooo cute how he runs around her wee house waiting for her to come out ❤
Such a cute house😊
OMG, this made me teary eyed and happy 🥹💝
Everyone should be in love like that. What a different world it would be.
Such devotion and love Steve feels for Margaret adorable.
These people are amazing, saving an animal like that and making sure they get to enjoy loving each other.... WHY can't the whole world just be like this?
I’m glad they have each other 💕💕💕💕
So dang cute. Who knew a Rooster & Hen could be in ❤️ like this ??? I sure didn't!
😊😊😊
They also make great pets, even indoor pets. Very friendly.
Indeed, best not to eat them either :) they cause disease in us anyway! Whole Food Plant Based Nutrition for the win!
Most people just see them as meat
His little tippy tappys waiting for her. This is absolutely love. Two beautiful little souls❤❤❤
This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for rescuing Margaret and giving her to Steve. What a beautiful love story!
❤🥹♥️
Romeo. And. Juliet
@@kathyabrahams9766 With a happy ending this time!
Probably a dumb question, but can’t they both stay in same place every night? I feel so bad to see them get separated..
@@MsHSpring Seems like a good question to me!
@@MsHSpringSteve seems to be trained to live inside the house whereas Margaret was full grown when they got her and likely couldn't be trained as easily so she sleeps in the coop.
Oh I remember these two!!! I saw Videos of Margaret in recovery on her “Wheelchair” and Steve never leaving her side. Is good to see she made a great recovery and continue to live happy with her Steve 🥲
Oh my gosh this is the cutest thing ever 😍😍❤️❤️
This is so sweet! I had no idea chickens/roosters had such commitment to each other.
They do. They're very loving animals and also make great pets. Very friendly.
I never did either until I got my rooster Einstein - he actually treats me like his wife (like Steve) and runs like the dickens towards me every morning - I want to get him a wife now but maybe I'll be jealous? 🤥 LOL.
@@hempress4217 my pet rooster used to have a girlfriend, but he still had that attitude with me too lol.
@@AriaIsara oh that is so good to hear! Used to? Gee, I hope he and his girlfriend parted on amicable terms, she wasn't jealous was she?! ... LOL 😝
@@hempress4217ok this makes me want to get a rooster for my neurodivergent daughter! Where do I learn more? We have a yard but it does snow here!!
We must never underestimate animals intelligence. What a romance ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hope my husband is as excited to see me in the mornings as this rooster is 😂❤❤❤
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL STORY 😊❤ THANK YOU FOR SHARING. GOD BLESS YOU STEVE AND MARGARET ♥️🙏♥️ LIVE FOREVER IN HAPPINESS 😊
Amen 🙏🐓💒💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
This made me cry because it’s such a lovely story. It just shows you that it’s not just humans that can adore each other. I hope that Margaret and Steve have a lot more happy years together.💕
This made me cry, too, but for different reasons. Like the fact they were eating scrambled eggs for breakfast! Were they HERS???!!!
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I hope they do, too!!! ❤❤❤
@@michaelbraum77 hopefully they weren’t. 😔
Amen !
ISN’T LOVE 💕 GRAND?! ☺️ This couldn’t be MORE UPLIFTING! I hope they have many, many years together! Many thanks for sharing this wonderful love story! 🐓🐓🐓
His little dance is one of the most adrobale thing I've ever seen!
I love how he runs!!! So precious 💞
😊😊😊
yeah that's how my roosters ran when they were chasing a hen they were about to bang lol it's not that cute
Isn't that the sweetest,..ever,..and I so love how in all his anxiously waiting excitement, he's popping up to look in the window at her,..so very sweet,..he's smitten to be sure,..she just takes all the attention in stride,..so glad they were brought together,..Godspeed, long healthy, happy life to them, and family, and may they always be together,..
That little house is adorable. Too cute.😊
This is beautiful, I can't describe how full of love I feel right now for animals. The intelligence of these roosters comunicating with a human to let his mate out of her little house. I am glad that I don't eat meat anymore. I feel in my heart I have no right
to do so. And I feel healthier too. This little family is precious. And so is the owner of them. Many blessings to you and more to come.
This video has reverted me back to veggies + seafood sometimes. Oh my I feel like I'm a monster eating meat after seeing this! Precious 🐓🐣 💓! Also no dairy poor baby cows are used and abused. 😭😞💔
Well said, Amen!
I have been a vegetarian for 22 years and my family for 16. ❤🐡🦈🐌🐛🐙🐣🐔🐁🐰🦒🐁🦙
All animals are precious and deserve to enjoy their lives.
That is exactly why I stopped eating meat as a child. I felt I had no right to do that to someone else's body. I have never heard anyone put it so well.
“The Life & Love of Steve & Margaret” starts & ends my day! Makes one grateful.
Damb onions! Absolutely adorable! The music has me in tears. Thanks for sharing this beautiful experience.
The Cutest Morning Routine ever... ❤ True love in every sunrise 🌅🐓💕
Ahh, they’re the sweetest couple. Just shows that we are all just beings wanting some love, food and fun.
The love and protection never leaves Steve for Margaret. I also housed our princess chicken after she was attacked. She was not alone from then on out! Stayed in our house for the remainder of her life. Wouldn't have it any other way!! Thank you for caring for these precious souls!!
Very caring 😊😊😊
There's nothing like LOVE ❤🇨🇦
They have a beautiful life. All thanks to you.
You have to envy animals love, it's not about money, religion, looks, beliefs, status etc it's just pure love
So true
To be fair, both are lovely inside and out, yes ? Real lookers.
@@lyrand6408 sorry you are so underdeveloped to get it, slick. you do you.
@@shiboof I'm sorry that you live in your own dream, and not in this very simple reality. But if you're comfortable there, you do you, too. Also, watch some animals documentaries narrated by Sir David Attenborough (he does have a comforting voice, and he's a treasure of a human being), that will also do you some good in terms of education on how nature works and animals behave with each others. That, or read some books, dunno, you'll find out.
So adorable. Chickens are absolutely loving and nurturing animals. They are our friends and deserve to be cherished. Every single one of them
THIS IS TRUE, THEY AIN'T GOT NOTHIN COMIN ON YOUS THOUGH, ALL OF DAT AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL HAIR ATOP YR LOVELY HEAD, I WOULD STAY ON YR NERVES FROM CONSTANTLY PLAYIN N YR HEAD. THE MOST PRICELESS IRREPLACEABLE UNMATCHABLE GIFT DAT GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF MADE 4 MAN, IS YOUS
They're absolutely delicious too
Omg…watching this made me cry…so beautiful; that’s how chickens should be treated.
Thanks for being so so kind to your chickens.
This is friggin adorable. I love chickens....animals are amazing and bring so much joy to my life. Thank you for sharing this
Theres a lid for every pot. Steve is Margarets lid. I wish humans were as kind to each other. Rock on Steve and Margaret. Rock on!
Aww he loves her so much! Margaret has such an adorable little house!
That is so sweet! Her little house is adorable.
Find someone as excited to see you as Steve does with Margaret ❤
She healed so beautifully
I love this, I *literally* just love this ❤
Margaret has the cutest little She-Shed.
The tears of joy are springing forth. Thankyou for these Birbs.
😂 my daughter calls them birbs! 🫶🏾
These Dodo videos always put a smile on my heart.
This is so sweet! I absolutely love chickens. My mom has 5 Banty hens that bring her so much joy. I took care of them while she recovered from surgery. I'd love to have them as pets but my townhome complex would but us.
Now that’s a love that will last forever that’s a beautiful thing right there
The way he sprints to her so precious!❤
He sure loves her. He protects her. She loves him too. I think this is so special so beautiful.🥰🥰💕
Now those two are such a cute couple. He's so hopelessly devoted to his
chick ❤
I love this and the names Steve and Margaret. 😂

Absolutely adorable . All have souls and different personalities and all loves !!!
this is so sweet and poignant it made me teary
I'm melting...🫠 Margaret and Steve are just so precious 💕✨🥰 I can't even take the cuteness!!
Cute
How sweet. Find someone to love and love you like these chickens love each other
What an adorable hen and rooster couple🐓🐔 and what a cute sweet home they have . May they always be safe, loved, happy, respected and understood.🌳🏡🐣
So cute! Margaret is a beauty. Never seen a chicken like her. She must be some special breed.
She's a blue americauna but I prefer to call her a Margaret breed
I wonder if Steve sleeps in his human Mom’s home so he won’t “crow” at the sun too early in the morning? Sweetest little couple of “lovebirds” and Margaret’s tiny home is the cutest I’ve ever seen! ❤️❤️❤️
