Reminds me of a piglet that me and my dad rescued. She was almost frozen she was separated from her mom. We placed her in a tub of warm water on our woodburner stove. Brought her back from the brink of death. I named her Bridget and she was the smartest pet I've ever owned, and I miss her dearly.
Someone I trained with grew up on a sheep farm in Wales. They used to put the hypothermic lambs in the 'wood-drying' bit of the Aga stove (big wood-burning range) to warm up. They had one lamb who remembered where it was that was nice and warm, and would be alerted to her having crept into the kitchen by the smell of singed wool coming from the Aga : )
My heart goes out to all the animals who have never and will never get a chance of freedom, and know how it feels to be loved 😥 and to all the sanctuaries working hard for little money to give these babies a forever home.

Calves are SO sweet... every one we had on the farm became spoiled. Our bull, Billy, LOVED us kids, and even tolerated us trying... unsuccessfully... to ride him. He was a pure bred Hereford. All our critters loved to be petted and curried. I loved our cows. As I said, they DO become accustomed to attention from people.

Actually, humans are the same. We all want to be accepted, to feel part of a group, but rejection and perpetuated violence makes people feel inadequate and ashamed, so we develop this belief that we need something external to feel validated and be worth something; like wealth, power, stardom, looking a certain way, feeling superior at something, being perfect, pleasing other people, taking alcohol and drugs, etc. It's the *lack of love* that's responsible for these things, so it's important to show other people the same respect and kindness that we would all need for ourselves, and to understand that we have the same capacity for love, care, and joy that we like to see in free happy animals. If all children were raised this way, the world would be a much better place.
That number of people is growing. ❤️ Veganism alone can save so many animals (without even needing to actively rescue them, which of course is even better!) and that movement is getting stronger every day ^-^

This whole thing is kinda a tiny bit crazy. They used how much gasoline to move two animals across how many states? Not very green behaviour. I'm sure a farm near them could have taken these animals. If I asked you to take a broken human, indigent, with health problems, on a 21 hour trip, would you do it? Likely not, because humans are challenging, and might not do a happy dance for our video. We save pigs, but don't lift up a brother.

Cows only make milk if they have a baby, so milk farmers will make sure they have a baby for milk production, but then sell the male babies for slaughter. Female babies will most likely be either sold or raised away from the mom to be a future milk cow also.
Marley didn't know it, but she was living the best life possible for a pig born into factory farming. Falling off that truck was a blessing in disguise. Instead of having to deal with the harsh life of factory farming, she got to live on some nice, caring sanctuaries. beautiful

I watch a lot of rescue videos and all rescuers know it's about the love factor. I've seen people rescue old cats and dogs who are given a short time as they are in the dying process, and they want to give them a home for their last days. Then they go home and get loved up and they're prancing around like happy kids and go on living a lot longer, sometimes years longer. It's magical.
You know this is a glimpse of the future. When Almighty God created the earth and all that's in it he meant for everything to work in harmony under His watchful eye. Of course most of us are familiar with the disastrous choices that the first human pair made. For a time man has had to live with the consequences of those decisions. But Jehovah God's purpose for the earth hasn't changed. At Isaiah 11:6-9 He tells us how the animals, both wild and domestic, are meant to interact peacefully with each other, and with humankind. The time is coming soon when it will become a reality. (Revelation 21:3-5) Animals are a gift from God, and we need to treat them accordingly.
When I was about 5 years old our horse and pig had a bond that was unbelievable. They were together sunrise to sunset. Looking back, it seems that animals deal with each other's differences better than humans.
As a child I lived on a farm and we had a beagel hunting dog that stayed in the old corn crib all the time, went out to feed her one morning and she had baby possums sucking on her..She had lost her pups and evidently the possums had lost their mom.. she raised them up as long as she had milk.. It made the local news...LOL I always thought it was so cool though..Animals are better than humans alot of the time!!!! So happy about these people though taking in these presious animals..It kinda restores my faith in humans!! There are still good ones out there!! Yaaay!!!

These animals you talk about have been bred by humans to be to our standards. It's been done over the course of the last 10.000 years. If those animals weren't able to live together at least in close proximity then we would've not kept that animal. Barns back in the day wasn't like the ones you see today most barns were also the home of the farmer they were directly there. Go visit Europe and you can visit such old barns.

Nope, she doesn't care, stop treating cows like human mothers they literally forget about the calf seconds after you leave the pen. Plus you leave them together the calf will pick up a disease or the mother will wind up trampling the calf. By the way, you might enjoy checking out The Oregon Zoo (on Facebook, I believe) - especially when they take their penguins out for walks. Very similar: someone thought, "maybe these penguins might like to go play in the forest?" (Or also they do things like letting the sloths hang out with dolphins - stuff like that.) I imagine it's very enriching for the animals! Usually they have the whole big wide world to explore. I know that being in a zoo is not ideal, but if they can make their lives full and enjoyable while they're there then it will make their lives a bit better. 💚
These rescuers deserve all the glory and all the respect for the tremendous endurance they go through to help these helpless animals that later grow up to be beautiful and friendly even with each other, all thanks to these wonderful people, much, much respect🙏🏼❤️
Sharon Lefkowitz it was devastating! I just hoped she’d sense he was being rescued somehow. And I just thought, perhaps as this dairy farmer seems to have some conscience about the cruelty he’s inflicting and lets a calf be rescued (not sure if they pay him) maybe he’ll go on to do more good things. Like let older mothers be rescued when they’ve finished (the raping, birthing of more poor babies)and can’t milk any more, instead of going to be murdered. I’ve seen the odd mother get reunited with their child, and maybe Eli will see his mother again 🤞❤️
Thanks for all these despite its a 3-year-old video but I am full of joy watching these babies build up trust and bond. Thanks to all who devote their efforts to innocent animals.
To hear the gentleman say he passed Eli's mother on the way out was absolutely heartbreaking These good people are doing everything they can to give as many of our fellow creatures the life they deserve. But the unimaginable sadness is that billions more find no way out of terrible cruelty.

Reminds me of a piglet that me and my dad rescued. She was almost frozen she was separated from her mom. We placed her in a tub of warm water on our woodburner stove. Brought her back from the brink of death. I named her Bridget and she was the smartest pet I've ever owned, and I miss her dearly.

Someone I trained with grew up on a sheep farm in Wales. They used to put the hypothermic lambs in the 'wood-drying' bit of the Aga stove (big wood-burning range) to warm up. They had one lamb who remembered where it was that was nice and warm, and would be alerted to her having crept into the kitchen by the smell of singed wool coming from the Aga : )

Calves are SO sweet... every one we had on the farm became spoiled. Our bull, Billy, LOVED us kids, and even tolerated us trying... unsuccessfully... to ride him. He was a pure bred Hereford. All our critters loved to be petted and curried. I loved our cows. As I said, they DO become accustomed to attention from people.

Actually, humans are the same. We all want to be accepted, to feel part of a group, but rejection and perpetuated violence makes people feel inadequate and ashamed, so we develop this belief that we need something external to feel validated and be worth something; like wealth, power, stardom, looking a certain way, feeling superior at something, being perfect, pleasing other people, taking alcohol and drugs, etc.
It's the *lack of love* that's responsible for these things, so it's important to show other people the same respect and kindness that we would all need for ourselves, and to understand that we have the same capacity for love, care, and joy that we like to see in free happy animals.
If all children were raised this way, the world would be a much better place.

This whole thing is kinda a tiny bit crazy. They used how much gasoline to move two animals across how many states? Not very green behaviour. I'm sure a farm near them could have taken these animals. If I asked you to take a broken human, indigent, with health problems, on a 21 hour trip, would you do it? Likely not, because humans are challenging, and might not do a happy dance for our video.

@@thvcore7104 the mom was a milk cow.. unfortunately that means Eli was a bobby cow. Cows only make milk if they have a baby, so milk farmers will make sure they have a baby for milk production, but then sell the male babies for slaughter. Female babies will most likely be either sold or raised away from the mom to be a future milk cow also.
When the mother cow saw her baby as they were leaving... oh God I still can't stop crying. 💔
I’m not sure I cried more for the fact that they were never going to see each other again, or for the life the mother was going to continue leading.

I watch a lot of rescue videos and all rescuers know it's about the love factor. I've seen people rescue old cats and dogs who are given a short time as they are in the dying process, and they want to give them a home for their last days. Then they go home and get loved up and they're prancing around like happy kids and go on living a lot longer, sometimes years longer. It's magical.
Imagine the world we'd love in if it was full of people like this. 😭

But Jehovah God's purpose for the earth hasn't changed. At Isaiah 11:6-9 He tells us how the animals, both wild and domestic, are meant to interact peacefully with each other, and with humankind. When I was about 5 years old our horse and pig had a bond that was unbelievable. They were together sunrise to sunset. Looking back, it seems that animals deal with each other's differences better than humans.
As a child I lived on a farm and we had a beagel hunting dog that stayed in the old corn crib all the time, went out to feed her one morning and she had baby possums sucking on her..She had lost her pups and evidently the possums had lost their mom.. she raised them up as long as she had milk.. It made the local news...LOL I always thought it was so cool though..Animals are better than humans alot of the time!!!! So happy about these people though taking in these presious animals..It kinda restores my faith in humans!! There are still good ones out there!! Yaaay!!!

These animals you talk about have been bred by humans to be to our standards. It's been done over the course of the last 10.000 years. If those animals weren't able to live together at least in close proximity then we would've not kept that animal. Barns back in the day wasn't like the ones you see today most barns were also the home of the farmer they were directly there. Go visit Europe and you can visit such old barns.

Nope, she doesn't care, stop treating cows like human mothers they literally forget about the calf seconds after you leave the pen. Plus you leave them together the calf will pick up a disease or the mother will wind up trampling the calf. By the way, you might enjoy checking out The Oregon Zoo (on Facebook, I believe) - especially when they take their penguins out for walks. Very similar: someone thought, "maybe these penguins might like to go play in the forest?" (Or also they do things like letting the sloths hang out with dolphins - stuff like that.) I imagine it's very enriching for the animals! Usually they have the whole big wide world to explore. I know that being in a zoo is not ideal, but if they can make their lives full and enjoyable while they're there then it will make their lives a bit better. 💚

These HUMANE beings are ANGELS for Saving these BLESSINGS. SO Sad when Eli was carried past his Mom and she could not be saved with her.
Sharon Lefkowitz it was devastating! I just hoped she’d sense he was being rescued somehow. And I just thought, perhaps as this dairy farmer seems to have some conscience about the cruelty he’s inflicting and lets a calf be rescued (not sure if they pay him) maybe he’ll go on to do more good things. Like let older mothers be rescued when they’ve finished (the raping, birthing of more poor babies)and can’t milk any more, instead of going to be murdered. I’ve seen the odd mother get reunited with their child, and maybe Eli will see his mother again 🤞❤️
