The people who worked so hard to keep the tiny puppy alive are angels indeed. I wish I could express my admiration to them personally. Their dedication has touched my heart.
Kind vets are like angels from above. And they are hard to find these days. My dog has a less serious condition than this dog does and some vets told us to just put her down and that she was a burden to our lives. My dog is NOT a burden and I take care of her happily and ensure she has the best life possible.
This baby puppy was so lucky to be raised by a vet tech and adopted by one. The little oxygen chamber that grew with her was so creative and unique. And it was just so heartwarming to see how they accommodated her needs. Seeing that puppy in respiratory distress, with chest retractions just about broke me, though. It's sad beyond words to think of a little pup getting aspiration pneumonia from nursing. That poor little baby! My heart broke for her when she spent too long outside the bubble and couldn't breathe. How amazing that they never gave up on her. And what a miraculous recovery! PS, it's so cute and funny how dachshunds start out with little short faces and they get long over time. She looked just like my toy poodle did as a puppy.
The woman who saved this puppy is an Angel. I fell in love with that little baby girl. It’s so good to see positive things in our world, and this was beyond that.
This is nothing less than a miracle. From a sickly little puppy that has to stay in an oxygen chamber to a puppy that can play with children and try to destroy a roll of toilet paper....that's a miracle.

@@jjradV I agree that our diets need to be less dependent on animal products and that the current system is highly damaging, but there's ways we can reform it instead of abolishing it. Dairy, meat and other things are such an integrated part of our day-to-day lives that not many people would be eager to suddenly stop consuming and using those things. Lots of people are actually dependent on the calorie and protein density of meat and milk in relation to its cheapness, and their lives would be much worse without it. Cholesterol, which is only found in small amounts in a few edible plants, is an essential part of creating cell walls, bile, certain hormones, and Vitamin D. The problem happens when your body can't use it up fast enough. Finally, some animals are more adapted to living with humans than other livestock. Pigs can be great pets, but they're much more of a hassle than dogs, and they're one of the better ones. So there you have it: a complete, well-thought-out argument against abolishment of animal usage by humans and absolute veganism. Have a mediocre day!
@@ericweiss6258 how do you suggest reforming the animal holocaust ? We don't need animal products to survive. Look around you,do you see people exploding with good health ? Animal products are extremely damaging to the human body. If humans were meant to eat animal products they would be good for our health instead of harming us. Ingesting all the fear and stress animals experience before being gassed, electrocuted, hung upside down by their legs having their throats slit open, hearing the screams of other animals as they try to escape being killed is definitely not healthy, it affects you right down to your cellular level. You are ingesting all of it ! Death on a plate is not good, using your body as a graveyard is not healthy. So many wonderful healthier foods to choose from that are a lot cheaper than meat, eggs, dairy and fish. Watch "25 RIPPED vegans" part 1 and part 2, I can assure you they are not deficient in protein. Most people suffer from cognitive dissonance or just don't care when they pay someone to abuse and kill animals on their behalf so they can eat them. Did you know newly hatched male chicks are ground up alive because they don't lay eggs. Did you know newly born male calves are killed because they don't produce milk. Fortunately the world is changing, the markets and restaurants are full of vegan food to choose from, major corporations investing heavily in vegan food, why ? Because people are demanding it, there are big profits to be made. Wonderful news from the Biden administration, they are formally backing biotechnology which includes new developments such as lab grown meats. Animal Agriculture is the biggest polluter on earth,it is destroying the environment, ruining people's health and last but not least is extremely cruel and causes unimaginable suffering to kind innocent sentient beings. Anyone that has knowledge of the cruelty and still supports the factory farming and slaughter houses instead of choosing something else to eat needs to be held accountable for the animal abuse they are taking part in for pleasure. Once you know you can't un-know it. No excuse for animal abuse !!
'Though she be but little she is fierce' What a sweet precious little baby. I am so happy that she beat the odds with the help of amazing vet techs. And that she learned to love water!!! Truly a little fighter.
Saving worthless animals/people like this is why the breeds/humans are developing some many health issues. The human race has become so Patric and weak from the coddling of useless people. The same can be said for animals.

This little furry angel hit the jackpot first with her caregivers, and then an absolutely fantastic adoptive family. Alas, after a difficult and traumatic early childhood, she certainly deserves a life of love and family.

I am an asthmatic too and this touched my heart. I had just used my inhaler right before I found this video. It made me sad seeing her struggling to breathe. I’m so happy she is ok now and can breathe outside the bubble.
This legit made me cry, every time I saw Sally in her little bubble struggling my heart got crushed, even tho I'm a pessimist by nature I was rooting for her to at least live a decent life where she could be at least a couple hours outside her bubble, but when I saw that she had recovered completely, the fact that she didn't need her bubble anymore and she was very happy with a loving family... I just started to cry of pure happiness, I felt so relieved. I hope she lives the best life, she deserves it, and I can't describe with words how thankfull I'm with the ones that helped her and didn't give up, I hope you too live the best life because you all deserve it.
I spent the whole video afraid of "In loving memory," but I kept my black heart open to the hurt so I could hope, too. Sometimes, the tears are beautiful and should be shed. My face is soaked from watching, and you set off another stream by being someone I could relate too, as well. Thank you for commenting.
No need to act "Tough/manly" like what other people say to be a 'man', all humans have emotions and they comprehend it in every way.. This is adorable, freely express yourself dude! :).
This beautiful baby has more determination than most people I know. It may be odd to say, but this little puppy leads a beautiful example to keep doing what you want even if it takes time or more effort than you expected.
A beautiful story. Thank you for not giving up on her. Her little lungs just weren't developed and working at full capacity enough at birth to get proper oxygen, but now her lungs are at full capacity with all your help and therapy. God bless everyone involved in her rehab and therapy treatment. She will live a full and rewarding life now with all the love and care in the world.
Just viewing this now on 12/29/22. I am a semi-retired human doc who is an animal-lover but not a pet owner now. The strides of veterinary medicine are incredible. I guess that Sally got her food/water initially through her NG tube before she could eat and drink on her own. It reminds me of the human advances for preemie neonates. We can now save humans and animals who would have perished in the past. BRAVO!
That's what I thought too, in relation to neo natal care for premature babies as it's the lungs that seem to develop last. My niece works in NICU and the leaps forward in survivability for prem babies is astounding. This care for Sally is incredibly similar as you mentioned with the feeding tube, oxygen and round the clock monitoring and care. What a marvelous result. I hope you take a moment to give yourself a pat on the back for the huge variety of care you have given and continue to give us humans. I can't imagine the emotional rollercoaster you go on daily with patients, on top of the clinical care. We appreciate you. I hope that the country you work in doesn't have too much red tape behind the scenes making it tricky for you to provide care. Thankyou and take care.

I forgot that I saw this before. And just like before I cried. I was born with a facial deformity that caused me to not be able to swallow formula. My maternal grandparents took me in. In my very early childhood my only friends were puppies and kittens. That is why I have a very tender spot for those little babies and people that were hungry and in need. Especially children even though I was never able to father children. I’m very thankful to have those feelings for others even though they may not realize it. I wish the world was more compassionate.

Oh my goodness. That is the most adorable little sweet girl & such a touching story. Just awesome that she fought so hard & those wonderful human beings took such good care of her. Heartbreaking seeing her struggle for air like that. Why is our world not full of amazing people like this instead of horrible ones?
You just watched a video *FULL* of those good people, and they post new content everyday from kind folks *all over* the country. The Dodo would have a harder time existing if not for the vast numbers of good people doing good things for vulnerable animals. Just a fact for you to hold onto.
There aren't really that many horrible people out there. They're just easier to notice. Just remember, everybody that has been horrible was affected by another person who was horrible to them. But it is possible to change. And that's important to remember. We were all born crawling, all born selfish, all born needy...
What AMAZING people with huge hearts for taking the time, and making the effort, to care for Sally until she was healthy. A truly beautiful story of love.

Annaj banana yes i agree, all animals want to live, what do you think about killing animals to eat ?
@@jjradV Ugh, not this again.
@@ericweiss6258 are you for abusing animals ? Do you eat them ?

Hello Andrea
Hello beautiful lady how are you doing
Hi
Big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to her survival! ❤️
This actually teared me up a bit. The world needs more kindness like this.
BRAVO!
One of the upsides to humanity in general lol
I was thinking of the human preemies akso.

Hello Justin how's the weather over there today
I forgot that I saw this before. And just like before I cried. I was born with a facial deformity that caused me to not be able to swallow formula. My maternal grandparents took me in. In my very early childhood my only friends were puppies and kittens. That is why I have a very tender spot for those little babies and people that were hungry and in need. Especially children even though I was never able to father children. I’m very thankful to have those feelings for others even though they may not realize it. I wish the world was more compassionate.

I feel heart broken and I am so glad she is healing bit by bit she is gaining her oxygen back. Sally is adorable. I don’t have any long haired, short haired, or wired haired dachshunds of my own but I would like to be a vet when I grow up so I will probably witness some in my future. Sally is growing so fast, I really wish I had a dachshund but I only have a Yorkshire Terrier named Arlo 4 months old. and in the passed I had a Jack Russel Terrier named Beatrice 13 years old until she died September 28th 2023 caused of a serious concussion, if she was still here she would be 14 right now.
