Awesome review! Straightforward and basically my questions answered. Would you also consider doing a review on the iPega "version" of these types of headphones? Considerably less in price and they look more comfortable than the Tusq or the cheap HP ones.
Thanks for this review, Biboy. I found it very helpful. I just bought this pair for office use since it's more portable and comfortable than usual office headsets. I also agree with your cons. With that said, what size of pop filter are you using? I'm looking to buy one as well. Thanks again!
Thanks for the review. I'm planning to get this one for my transcribing job. Do you think it will make the tin can sounds and low sound quality any better?
So far this is what i would recommend with this specific style and use case. This is very comfortable vs other headsets like it Its sound may not be balanced but it is optimized for gaming
Bro I just purchased a TUSQ and couldn't get it to work on my laptop's headphone jack. The earphones are working but the mic isn't detected on the sound properties. Any ideas?
Headsets with 3.5mm connectivity wont show up on sound properties. Playback and microphone selected should be the port of your pc, be it, realtek, conexant or other "soundcards". Only time a headset will show on sound properties is if it were a "digital" headset, one with usb connectivity.
This my friend is an analog headset. So basically there are 2 type of connections, analog and digital. Headsets with USB connections are digital and can be detected by your pc as a separate sound source. Analog headsets with a 3.5mm Jacks are not detected by your PC. What's detected by your pc is the soundcard you plug this headset into. Soundcards may vary in brand from realtek, conexant, etc.
no audio leak. as for the pop filter i got it from lazada. wherever you are whatever online shop you have access these keywords might help your search: headset foam cap lapel mic foam

microphone tip is 7mm. I got a foam cap with hole size of 8mm so I added a rubber band around the tip of the mic to make up for the space
Do you have a link for the pop filter you used?
Excellent review! I just bought this using my CC and you were spot on with all your points
good review and straightforward !

Good Review mate, buying it from my friend :D
Can you recommend another headset with similar style but better noise-cancelling mic and better sound🥺

TurtleBeach Battlebuds.
is the background noise a massive issue? also would the matcatz es pro+ be better than the SteelSeries tusq?.
Nope, not a deal breaker at all. Madcatz isn't available in my country so it'll be a challenge for me to be able to get my hands on one.
I wanted to get this for my steam deck since it's low profile and I won't get fatigued from wearing full on headsets.

@@BiboyHaranero Have you tested it on PC/Laptops? I am worried that it may have audio leaking from the mic output.
@@In10sken yes i have tried on pc. Multiple times
Hindi po ba sya pwede sa laptop?
Pwede sya. As long as may 3.5mm audio port
If you don't have a 3.5mm audio jack you can buy a USB sound card
