Very clear and detailed tutorial. Thank you for doing this. I just purchased my first Blue Yeti microphone.. the one you used in your presentation. I plan to do a lot of music vocal recordings with it in stereo however your general advice applies no matter how you use this mic.
had my mic for years and had the settings set up to be "good enough" for streaming, but now that I'm diving into creating just video, I feel like I'm suddenly way critical of my yeti. I'm gonna try the "setting microphone off to the side and talking past it" to help with some of the pops. thanks for the tips
Just discovered your channel with this video and immediately subscribed. I bought a Blue Yeti after months of going back and forth on whether or not to actually go through with the purchase. I was tired of using my iPad or MacBook Air mic to make my RUclips videos (iPad mic was weak. MacBook mic was stronger, but also picked up all sorts of background noise). What was holding me back slightly was all the different patterns (it's very overwhelming for me who has no experience with microphones). The microphone was on sale, so I took the plunge and bought it, but was still overwhelmed. Your video was the first video that popped up when I went searching for how to use a Blue Yeti microphone and I'm glad it was. It was really helpful hearing what the sound is like with the different patterns and hearing the different gain levels. It was also reassuring to hear how good the microphone sounded (a lot of people saying the sound is terrible with this mic definitely had me second guessing my purchase). You did such a good job of explaining everything. I'm very glad I found your channel and will probably go down the rabbit hole when I have time.
Awesome, congratulations on your new purchase! It’s a fantastic microphone as long as you get it set up properly. I’m glad you found my video helpful and thanks so much for subscribing to the channel! Very nice overview, and great starting points for someone who hasn't used the blue yeti mic. I am running a blue yeti on a pc. The OS settings are very similar to what they are on a MAC. One piece of advice for those using a PC, make sure in advanced microphone settings the default format is set to "2 channel, 16 bit, 48000Hz (DVD quality)". Mine was originally set to CD quality, switching this made a big difference. I have the PC mic volume set to 66, which works well. On the blue yeti mic, I have the gain set a little higher than you show. Like you said, each setup is a bit different. I use a boom arm with a shock mount and pop filter. When I used the blue yeti with the default desktop stand the sound was really tinny, had a lot of echoes. It might have something to do with the fact the desk has a glass top. Getting the mic off of the desk removed all echo and the tinny sound. Like you mentioned in your video, the desktop mount picks up any sounds on or around the desk. As I stated before, glad I stumbled on your channel when I was searching to blur something in Resolve.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate you sharing the info for other viewers too. Great info. Thanks for checking out the videos on my channel too. Hope you find them helpful! 😁

I've been making videos on youtube for 4 months now - and I only now realized, by watching this video........ that..... i've been using my mic backwards this whole time lol.
Oh man! Hate when that happens. 😜 I see a lot of people talking into the top of this microphone, which is incorrect. It looks like it would be correct but the pickups are actually on the sides of the microphone, not on the top. At least now you’ll get some better audio, keep cranking out those videos and best of luck on your channel!
Incredible video Jason! I've owned this mic for 3 years and honestly never looked into the settings of the mic until i started getting really bad audio
Thanks! With a little bit of set up of the microphone and checking a few things in your environment, you can get some awesome sound out of this Mic. Thanks for watching and best of luck with it! 😁👍
Seriously? I'm not hating on video, it helped me, but all he really did was decrease the gain and increase the input volume... I wouldn't exactly call that "maximising" the mics potential...
Thank you tons u explained this perfectly bro my blue yeti was alwyas picking up computer noise i didnt know i just had to change the gain. Your a game changer. Wish u the best of luck in 2024 brother
I've had a blue yeti for about 2 years now. My review on it is honestly it sounds horrible in games. But when recording a video for some reason the mic gets 20x better quality.
It could be something to do with the games audio settings or maybe the qualities of the audio signal that the game sends out. I don’t think it’s the Mic.
My wife has this mic but recently in discord it sounds tinny or echoey. At the same time, on her stream it sounds just fine. So I'm guessing it's a discord issue or software setting somewhere?

@@JasonYadlovski Mine was really high - I'm guessing 75% - but putting it down to between 0% and 25% didn't generate great results. I got a real good question concerning my Blue Yeti-- As a professional voice actor, I've come across some issues like low depth and sampling, and getting the right dynamic range. What's the best way to remedy the problem?
Hi! I m not sure exactly what the problem is but I would make sure you set the mic up properly to begin with, Control the environment as best you can and then use some postproduction when necessary to sculpt the sound to get what you want. Do you have any specific examples of the issue?
The word length and sampling rate.. ...set them high as you can (mine = 24 bit, 96kHz) for editing/mixing. . Dynamic Range is all on you. Unless you mean there is "too much" in which case, compression/limiting come in handy

Hey I've spent the past day and a half trying to find a fix for latency issues while recording on my Blue Yeti and I'm wondering if you can help! I am using a mac and the only solutions I've found have been for PCs. I have my headphones plugged into the Yeti, input set to the Yeti and I have tried changing my output to the Yeti, the computer speakers, I've messed with the Audio MIDI Setup, tried several recording programs and I still have a second of delay hearing my voice. It's driving me nuts! Any info you have to help would be AMAZING!!
Hi Jason, I am very inexperienced with microphones but I am looking for one that would be good for recording multiple people at a table setting. So I was thinking that this one with the Omni-directional setting would be great! But would the mic be able to pick up good sound with each person sitting about 2ft away from the mic? Would this blue yeti be okay turned upside down on a boom arm??
Having just bought a Yeti to work from home...I'm a total newbie at this. When I playback, it sounds tinney and cheap...not sure if my set up is right...I kind of gave up, then watched your video. I feel a bit more confident now, but waiting for the frustration level to subside. Great video, btw!
@@JasonYadlovski I’m going to do that now that I have a better understanding of the levels, patterns and positioning. A lot of the set up was done when exhausted from a long day, with zero clue of what I’m doing. I will do this when it’s not a rush. Thanks for being readily available! I think you saved my sanity.
Thanks Jason. I've had my Blue Yeti for a couple years. Went from the stand, to a boom arm, and now - back to a stand again. For me to get the 'just right' sound with the boom, meant seeing too much of the boom arm in my videos. Going back to the stand now, and I've placed the stand on cork-based coaster (in the hopes of reducing any desktop vibrations). I also now use the sponge-cap, over the mic (I did have a Pop filter when using the boom arm). Not sure if you've tried the sponge cap - but if so, I'd like your opinion on it. Since returning to the stand, I try to keep the mic 8-12 inches away. I've got the gain slightly (not much) higher than you have here. Even with the sponge cap, I don't talk directly into it -- I have it turned, about 45 degrees. If I'm recording videos locally - just me and my voice, I record using Adobe Audition on the PC w/the Yeti, while at the same time, using a wireless lav mic going directly into the camera. Makes it easy to sync the Yeti audio to the 4k video track, when editing. If I'm interviewing people online, I ultimately record the session with Zoom - with me and as many participants as possible on Yeti's, simply because the free version of Zoom will create a separate audio track for each person on the Zoom, instead of one big, flat file - and having those separate audio files provides greater flexibility in editing. Thanks again for this video - it's great because it truly helps all of us understand the importance of good audio.
Excellent instructive video on the use and operation of the Blue Yeti for those who, like me, have just purchased it and need to set it up as best as possible to use it to its full capacity.

I suggest the "InnoGear Microphone Stand, Heavy duty... medium, on amazon. I honestly hate how the spring looks on some of these stands, but this one for 40 it is very well built and very sleek. oh and no springs LOL
I had no idea the cardioid mode was just the front, all this time I thought it was front and sides, so I always just had it set to onmi-directional! Thanks for that info 👍
Great video! I have used all of the tips but I am still experiencing some audio issues for some reason. I put the gain all the way down but there is still some background noise. Then, I keep the volume on the mic and. the computer down, but then it. is a little too quiet, and my voice just does not sound right. I also use the cardioid setting, because any other setting makes it sound way worse. If I turn the volume or gain up, there is a ton of background noise even though it is silent when I record. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi! I would say that if you have your gain all the way down and adjust your computer so that it at least is at a decent level, you can always boost it a little in post. Its better to record on the quite side with less background noise than it is to record loud. Just boost it in editing. Sounds like you also need to work on the environment a little if that's where all your background noise is coming from.
Thank you for this video! I watched some other's and my sound quality wasn't as great as when I watched your video! Having the microphone to the side of you is a game changer.
This has been so helpful! I've had my Blue Yeti on the wrong settings and in the wrong place for months now! 😝 I feel much more confident about using it now. I'd love to see a video about modifying my environment to get better sound. I'm learning how to do room treatments so I don't get so much reverb back in the corner where I film. Just wanted to say thanks!!!
Awesome! Glad we got you setup properly now! I do have a video on the sound treatment I did for my recording space, here's a video on it: ruclips.net/video/Gb9e0Euz3iA/видео.html
this is extremely helpful I was trying to find a good video on how large they were, how far I could be from them. and which mic to buy without having a crazy expensive mic and boom arm. and the yeti seems to be my ideal mic as I can easily apply a filter to it on something like obs and completely erase my keyboard sounds, which I do currently on my headset mic but its just not the quality I'd like
You're welcome! Thanks for checking out the video! The Yeti is an awesome mic, I used it for a long time with great results. As long as you get it setup good, you'll have great results. In 2021 I switched to using a boom mic, just to get the mic off the desk. Now I use the Sennheiser MKE600 with an Audient EVO4 Audio Interface.
wow! Best video!! Thank you so much for taking the time to describe everything with so many details that even me who I am clueless about technology can understand.
I'm pretty fortunate to find this video. You've covered every aspect of blue yeti but I gotta ask you a question what's the best possible setting for creating an ASMR video where it gonna be whispering, tapping or mic brushing?
Hi! Thanks for checking out the video! So if you set your microphone up properly, the most important part for you I would think is your environment. Try and be in a room that does not have a lot of echo or maybe hang up some blankets or throw blankets on the floor if you have wood floors and no carpet. You could also use a small closet and use blankets or something to help dead in the sound a little bit. You could always look for those little recording booths or something. There’s lots of things you can do, you just have to find out what works for you but your environment is going to play a big part when you’re doing all those very quiet things. Microphone microphone should pick it up no problem. Here’s a video of how I did some sound treatment for my studio if you’re interested: ruclips.net/video/Gb9e0Euz3iA/видео.html
Thanks for this! And I just received my pink pawn blue yeti yesterday and it took me 2 hours to figure out why it wasn’t working when I plugged it up on my Mac. The issue was I had to unplug my other headphones that was hooked up to my Mac 🤦🏾♀️ so when using the yeti on your computer you can’t have your headphones hooked up to your computer 🥴 it has to attach to the yeti and it’ll work fine
Your videos are very informative and have helped me a lot. I'm doing ASMR video's and would love a video or series of video's detailing how we should be setting up our audio equipment. We do such quiet sounds I'm not finding much help. Thanks
HI! Thanks for checking out the video! For picking up good audio for ASMR videos, here's my thoughts. I think you want an environment that is very quiet or treated for sound reduction. For example, I've created a room using acoustic blankets and it kills any echo or reverb you might hear. You can even use blankets to accomplish this. I'd also say that you all need to turn up the sensitivity on your mic. On the yeti for example you should turn up the gain so the mic is more sensitive and can pick up the quieter sounds. If the mic itself doesn't have a gain on it, then you'll need to turn it up in the computer or on the audio interface if you are using one. Then it's just finding the balance to be able to pickup the sound you want with out peaking or killing the levels. If you have some loud noises and some quiet, you may need to adjust your mic input levels as you go. You can always fine tune the audio a little bit in post in a program like DaVinci Resolve - I've got lots of audio videos in DaVinci Resolve if you are interested. Hope this helps a bit! Best of luck on your channel!
@@JasonYadlovski I use a blue yeti x, also a tascam. Thank you so much for the info. My room I use definitely needs to be more sound proof. I do videos normally at night so it's quieter. Keep up the informative content. Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

Hi Jason! When I first began podcasting I bought a Yeti Blue. However, I had two major problems: the Yeti condenser mic picks up too much sound of my children playing in the next room or even on the floor below my office. The other problem I have is that my voice has deep resonance which causes distortion even with the gain on 0 and a distance of 8 inches. I switched to a dynamic Røde Podcaster which is great for eliminating background noise and doesn't pick up as much resonance which allows me to speak with more enthusiasm. However, whenever I work remote, I need to use my Yeti. Aside from wrapping a pillow around the back or recording in a closet, what advice do you have for cancelling background noise and reducing unwanted bass resonance?
Hi! So a few things to try, I'm assuming you've got the gain all the way down on the mic already, but also lower it down on your computer. That will help limit the noise. The Yeti does pick up a lot of extra noise if it's not quite for sure. Make sure you are using the cardioid mode. To reduce some bass, move the mic farther away from you, more than the 8" you mentioned. That will reduce some of that proximity/bass effect you hear. That's where I'd start and see how it goes from there. Hope this helps a bit!
I do have this mic and I have used it for some karaoke live streams a little while back. I do like it, but for singing, it always seemed pretty sensitive and if I was to sing a little more aggressively, it would peak, even with the gain knob turned all the way down. I would have to actually move out of the way of the mic and sing quite a bit away from it to make it sound a little better. I did set up a compressor filter in OBS to try to help as well, though I haven't tweaked the EQ, which I have been meaning to do, but I haven't really streamed in some time. I do like this mic though. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for sharing that! Yeah, might not be the best for singing. You could always try reducing the gain on the computer in addition to keeping the gain very low on the mic. That might help some. Defiantly don't want to be peaking though. EQ can make a big difference on any mic and really enhance it. Love some EQ. Thanks for watching!
You’re welcome! For sure, definitely keep the gain nice and low on that microphone. Things get out-of-control quick when you bring that gain up on the yeti. 😜
Hello Jason, thank you for your video. It already helped me a lot. Unfortunately I still experience 2 huge issues. 1. I lowered the gain on the mic and increased the windows sound on the fullest. But the recording is still too silent. I can adjust it with audio-post processing, but it is not suited for livestreams. 2. Every time I increase the gain, I get a low frequency disturbing sound. Like my microphone has too much bass. Even though I do not speak directly in it and also use a pop-filter. I just ordered a shock-mount to see, if this may solve the issue. But I just can not get rid of this annoying low frequency. Do you have any ideas, how to solve this problem? Kind Regards Michael
Hey Michael - i’m not sure what software you were live streaming with but if you can run an EQ on your microphone in the live stream, I would throw a high pass filter on there and try and EQ out any of those nasty frequencies that you’re hearing. Or maybe it’s just legitimate interference from something in the environment. 🤔
@@JasonYadlovski Thank, I am actually testing for streaming with Obs and I am testing on private to check everything before going live, the problem is echoes a lot, anyway I will not bother you🙂 Keep up the good work
Sounds like you need to turn down the gain on your microphone and also turn down the game on the computer as much as you can with still getting good sound volume. Then work with the environment in your room a little bit. Throw some blankets on the floor, do something to limit the echoing and bouncing off of walls, floors and ceilings.
@@JasonYadlovski thank you so much, this is what I will do😁 Hope you have a great day, I put the game sound at 30 and the gain as well. I will keep trying 🙂 I love the 🎤 si amazing

Great video. I just got mine and I installed Blue Voice too. I’ve been doing let’s play videos for about a year now and I think the broadcaster setting makes my voice sound even better. Blue voice also has some filtering that I think works better than my capture software. Maybe not as good as Nvidia’s voice AI but it’s got preresets that are pretty good. I used to use a Tonar Q9 and while good, I think the Yeti is even better. Edit: I do struggle with the question of cardioid vs stereo pattern.

Great video, smart tips. Question: are you using the cardioid mode during the intro when you were speaking past the mic with it stationed sort of off to the side?
It should work without headphones, try double checking the computer settings and make sure the audio output is not set to the microphone but it is set to your computer speakers if that’s what you want.

Very clear and detailed tutorial. Thank you for doing this. I just purchased my first Blue Yeti microphone.. the one you used in your presentation. I plan to do a lot of music vocal recordings with it in stereo however your general advice applies no matter how you use this mic.
Awesome, congrats on the new mic! Thanks for checking out the video and dropping a comment, I appreciate it!
had my mic for years and had the settings set up to be "good enough" for streaming, but now that I'm diving into creating just video, I feel like I'm suddenly way critical of my yeti. I'm gonna try the "setting microphone off to the side and talking past it" to help with some of the pops. thanks for the tips
I used the mic like that for a long time, it works good. 😁👍
Thanks! This was super useful
Thanks so much for your support! I appreciate it! 😁
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you for making this and for being so simple and clear for a microphone noob, like me! Cheers.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
I love the way you teach, you introduce the new parts with constant reminders of what else to keep track of. Very good video.
I appreciate that!
You just helped me fix my mic sounding echo-y that I've been trying to fix for months. Thank you!
Awesome! Glad the video was helpful! Best of luck!😁👍
I’ve got lots of videos on how to help you edit your audio in DaVinci Resolve (there’s a free version and the Fairlight audio tab is awesome). Even if you use a different editing program, all of the tips and tricks I get for audio would apply in any program. Best of luck and feel free to drop any questions you have in comment!
Thanks for sharing this. I would be using this with a laptop pc, so it's really helpful thanks.👍
Adjusting the mic on the PC is something I have been looking for this entire time! lol... I was scratching my head for a week straight lmao.. Thank you sir.. I know this video is old but it still helped me!! GLAD I FOUND IT!
Nice, glad you found your answer!
I appreciate the help Jay. My mic always seems so loud even when i tone down the volume. your vid help thanks man
Glad to help! Thank you for watching!
Great job explaining the Yeti microphone. I'm an old man who is a beginner in this arena and it was exactly what i needed. Thanks very much.
You’re welcome! Glad the video was helpful!

Glad I could help, thanks for checking out the video!
Honestly I think that's just because voice chat features from most games are pretty trash. Better to use Discord instead tbh.
My wife has this mic but recently in discord it sounds tinny or echoey. At the same time, on her stream it sounds just fine. So I'm guessing it's a discord issue or software setting somewhere?
@@shawns4354 tell your wife to go to discord and find "voice and video" go down to voice processing and turn some of those off until it sounds better.
Thanks for the Tutorial. Just got a Blue Yeti for Father's Day and this was just what I needed.

Wow! I have watched so many videos and yours finally helped me fix my issue! My recording volume was always so loud! I had adjusted my Gain on my Yeti, but it wasn't making a difference. My yeti microphone is coming tomorrow, so this helped a lot.. Going from gaming headset to this, so I should see a big difference.
I got a real good question concerning my Blue Yeti--
As a professional voice actor, I've come across some issues like low depth and sampling, and getting the right dynamic range.

Hi Jason,
I am very inexperienced with microphones but I am looking for one that would be good for recording multiple people at a table setting.
Thanks!! Work on your setup a bit and that should help. 😁👍
Really a good video! Explain very well, I showed it to my dad and he underatood how the mic works!!!!
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for sharing your experience! I agree with you good audio is so important!
Excellent instructive video on the use and operation of the Blue Yeti for those who, like me, have just purchased it and need to set it up as best as possible to use it to its full capacity.

Nice, thanks for sharing!
Having the microphone to the side of you is a game changer.

this is extremely helpful I was trying to find a good video on how large they were, how far I could be from them. and which mic to buy without having a crazy expensive mic and boom arm. and the yeti seems to be my ideal mic as I can easily apply a filter to it on something like obs and completely erase my keyboard sounds, which I do currently on my headset mic but its just not the quality I'd like
You're welcome! Thanks for checking out the video! The Yeti is an awesome mic, I used it for a long time with great results. As long as you get it setup good, you'll have great results.
@@JasonYadlovski Well, you're right about the environment. I'm happy you replied. I'll try my best to focus on my surroundings. Thanks alot man.

I need to turn the gain up so much to hear my quieter videos that it picks up everything else to ie: stomache sounds lol. Adjusting the gain during the video sounds like a good suggestion. Keep up the informative content. Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

Hi Jason! Are you using the Yeti for audio on this video? If so how are you syncing with the camera??
Hi! I did use the Yeti for some parts, but in all my videos I sync external audio with my camera in DaVinci Resolve. As long as you have audio from your camera, even if it’s not great, and your good audio, Resolve can do it for you. Here’s a video on how to do it ruclips.net/video/7ciOkTi39ho/видео.html
Very helpful. I been struggling to do vocals with this mic. You just cleared that up
Glad I could help!
Good content Jason! Thanks! One of my students has a blue Yeti so I just sent him this video. Subbed.
Awesome, thanks so much for the sub! I hope the video is able to help out your student! 😁👍
@@JasonYadlovski So do I. I think he has a mac so this video will be perfect,
I do have this mic and I have used it for some karaoke live streams a little while back.
Really though, any microphone if you're right up on it and you scream into it, it will peak. You need a compressor plugin that should fix it.
Omg lowering the "gain" made the biggest difference in my recordings!! thank you for this video
You’re welcome! For sure, definitely keep the gain nice and low on that microphone. Things get out-of-control quick when you bring that gain up on the yeti. 😜
Hello Jason,
thank you for your video.
Kind Regards
Michael
Hey Michael - i’m not sure what software you were live streaming with but if you can run an EQ on your microphone in the live stream, I would throw a high pass filter on there and try and EQ out any of those nasty frequencies that you’re hearing. Or maybe it’s just legitimate interference from something in the environment. 🤔
Dude, incredible video. Covers all the basics and you're really entertaining! The Grizzco sweep begins today.
Thanks man!
I got my for being student of the month
That’s awesome, congrats! 😁👍
Thank you for the video, I just bought a blue yeti recently and the tips are amazing 👏
You’re welcome! Congrats on getting the new yeti! It’s an awesome microphone and I really enjoyed using it as long as you get it set up properly. 😁👍
@@JasonYadlovski Thank, I am actually testing for streaming with Obs and I am testing on private to check everything before going live, the problem is echoes a lot, anyway I will not bother you🙂
Keep up the good work
Sounds like you need to turn down the gain on your microphone and also turn down the game on the computer as much as you can with still getting good sound volume. Then work with the environment in your room a little bit. Throw some blankets on the floor, do something to limit the echoing and bouncing off of walls, floors and ceilings.
@@JasonYadlovski thank you so much, this is what I will do😁
Hope you have a great day, I put the game sound at 30 and the gain as well. I will keep trying 🙂
I love the 🎤 si amazing
Really useful - thank you. Good to know that I don't have to talk into the front of it. Also the tips on the Gain adjustment is very useful, means i don't need to clean the audio in Audacity.
You’re welcome! I hope you are able to get some awesome audio! 😁👍
this was the easiest video to understand so far thank you!!!!
Awesome! Glad it was helpful!
Nice, that’s great! I’d go with the cardioid pattern to help limit any extra noise that might get picked up. 😁👍
Thanks so much for helping me figure this out lol. I've had this microphone for 2 years and just now really need it.
You're welcome! If you get it set up good, this thing is awesome. 😁👍
@@JasonYadlovski Thanks to I did lol. Did 3 youtube vidoes with it in the wee hours in the morning hahahaha. Thanks so so much for everything. I love the mic!
😜👍happy to help!
This is the best video I could find with a thorough explanation of the Blue Yeti and how to use a mic for beginners. Thank you!
Awesome, that’s great to hear! You’re welcome and thanks for watching! 😁👍
@@JasonYadlovski I had a quick question, maybe you could help me with. I just installed my Blue Yeti today and notice that the red light stays on after I turn off my computer. Is that normal? Essentially, the red light is always on.
If the mic is getting power, the light will be on. If there’s no power the light will turn off. Is it plugged into a powered USB hub?
@@JasonYadlovski ok that makes sense. It’s plugged into a usb slot on the back of my computer. I will try switching it to another slot that perhaps is not powered when I turn off the computer.
why did I have the gain so high before watching this video 😹 I feel like I just got a whole new mic
😜 it seems like it would make sense to turn the gain up, right? But that makes the mic super sensitive. But I was able to share some tips with you, best of luck with your “new microphone “. 😁👍
Thank you thank you thank you! I just purchased a Yeti for my podcast and this video helped me more than I can say. I was so confused but now the sound is wonderful! The quality is so much better than my old mic.
Awesome! Best of luck on the podcast, hope you get some awesome audio now. Thanks for watching!
Awesome breakdown, thanks!!
You’re welcome!
Great video, smart tips. Question: are you using the cardioid mode during the intro when you were speaking past the mic with it stationed sort of off to the side?
Yes, I had it in cardioid mode the whole time. 😁👍
Nice brother. Great content. Just bought my first yeti. This video showed up first, awesome knowledge. Love from Melbourne Australia!
Awesome, congrats on the new mic! It’s a great one. Thanks for checking out the video!
best presentation, by far, on blue yeti I have yet heard !
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words!
This is a good video, I'm glad Jason was my first click!!! Blue definitely need to sponsor him because the instructions were horrible in the box.
Thanks! I'd love to work with Blue. They have some great stuff! Thanks for watching!
I have the yeti x but this vid still helped sooo much thank u:)
Awesome, you're welcome!
when i plug my yeti mic into my laptop it cancels the volume its mute i cant put it up maybe its cuz dont have a pair of headphones.
It should work without headphones, try double checking the computer settings and make sure the audio output is not set to the microphone but it is set to your computer speakers if that’s what you want.
Thanks for this walkthrough I just bought one yesterday interesting insights
Hope you enjoy it!
