Would be sick if you did an EP where your crew found places with random star ratings and you had to figure out of it was shit or a hit. 1star vs 5star type thing
That’d be a sick concept !
Agreed great concept
Should get a fidy for this idea cuz😂🤝🏽🔥
Nahhhh that’s a hectic idea lad
thats a sick idea bra! Spanien do it please!
Thank you for supporting us through this wonderful video. I mentioned the name of the caravan, Hannah's kebab. I wish you success in your life.
Dairy farmers needs to do a collab with this bloke. Give him his own line of milk crate
😂😂😂
I would defo buy some 😂
😂😂😂
Idk how this doesn’t have more likes, truest statement ever lad 🤣
Best comment 😂
The integrity of Spanian in food reviews never ceases to amaze me
fr
Joe's used to be elite. In the early-mid 2010s me and my mates would drive 30 minutes just for their HSPs and kebabs. They fell off quality wise a couple of years back. Real big shame
hard bro. its still a hood classic tho
I Agree exactly right
As a Melbournian, I would like to say thank you, not for praising Melbourne, but for showing me that I have an option other than Haci’s after 8pm. The amount of nights I’ve cursed this city because I’ve been driving around HANGRY AF for the lack of kebab places open (especially when I’m on cycle and/or have a few mls in and the hunger is really kicking my arse).
I just hope Hannah’s don’t slip up on the quality now that they’ll be getting more business due to this video.
Amen to that. Being a night worker is super annoying having NO fresh food options after 1am in a 5million people city
Haci's is awseome! Keen to try Hannah's though
Finally got around to these three places and wow, they are all good and different at the same time.
Man, Haci's is good and was kind of a tradition on the way home from work for a long time.
But they definitely don't make the best kebabs in the area.
How the fuck can you live close enough to Hacis but not know about Sydney road?
I fuckin love these videos and I feel this immense sense of pride for Melbourne. Glad we treated you well lad
Lol you didn't do shit lad. You just happen to live here like me

"this bodgie street" that my friend, is old school Melbourne charm. I grew up in Port Melbourne, when it was "bodgie" as fuck and that's the Melbourne I love. Go cruise through the lanes and side streets in the CBD, or any of the inner suburbs and you'll find excellent food, coffee, and some great street art.
You need to go to Oakleigh for souvlakis, if you want to compare a similar kind of meal.
I hear oakleigh is the place for a Gyros and Greek Spanios must go
souvlaki in oakleigh, faaaa...first time I had a pork souvlaki omg so good
Cause the Greeks moved from Brunswick/Coburg to Oakleigh
As a Victorian, I was not expecting our kebabs to stand up. Souvlaki/Greek food, absolutely, but not kebabs. You've almost convinced me to go to Coburg to try it, that takes a lot.
Yeah good middle eastern food in coburg. Samawar is sick Iraqi kebab. Near Hanna's.
Alasya is also hectic, huge and tasty
Very true. Best kebabs are Sydney, best souvlaki is Melbourne.
Melbourne is Australia's food capital & there's a big middle eastern community in coburg, so yes expect reasonable kebabs
Dunno about coburg, but Melbourne has HEAPS of heat and amazing kebabs. The god ol HSP popped off from Melbourne, and even when you go into the cbd there’s no shortage of good options.
As a melbournian i can say you definitely went the best area for any middle eastern food in the whole city, the northside in general is pretty good for all types of food but if you want asian go west.
Never been to Dandy cuz?

@@RynossGamingmusic oh OK. Thanks for sharing your experience. If I ever do go to Melbourne there is no way I'm missing out on the kebabs
Grew up in Sydney, lived in Melbourne my whole adult life.
Sydney has some stand outs but doesn’t hold a candle to the food culture in Melbourne.
The cultural diversity is celebrated at the fore in Melbourne and you can taste the difference.
You should do an episode on bakeries.
I feel like when it comes to food in Melbourne there's genuine passion and love for it, When it comes to Sydney food is just a good hustle..
Good comment.
Sydney has the the views, the tourism etc.
Melbourne people love their food, and are willing to travel to eat it.
Maybe Sydney's traffic influences where Sydney people eat?
Both cities are basically the same, one might do something slightly better than the other for a period but then they either become the same or the other gets better. Most of which city is better is based on bias more than anything else
💯
@@chrispekel5709lmao not the same at all. Melbourne does big poo on Sydney

Sorry to say Spanian but if you do end up reviewing the Greek and Italian food scene in melbourne, i think you will pack your bags and move to melbourne for good :)
Oakleigh is da bomb 💣
Everyone knows Katik on Barry Rd is the best in Melbourne ☝️😊
Born/raised in Sydney and agree, Melbourne food shits all over Sydney. You guys are lucky to have all this around 🤤
On average, Sydney kebabs are better. I think the main reason food is better in Melbourne is it is a city of small villages. Postcode pride. The weather, lack of beaches and suburban leagues clubs (cultural vacuums) in Melbourne makes food more of an event and past time. Pros and cons to both. Very proud of both cities, don’t play too much into who is better. Both have their unique qualities.
@@Droo75 ehh not really, living in sydney 15+ years and 7+ years in melbourne. Sydney kebabs are hella good if you go to the right spots but overall melbourne kebabs absolutely shits on sydney mainly because melbourne does better food than sydney (sydney does better thai and chinese tho.)
always great when spanian uploads especially this close to each other lets oge brah
Love the work Spanios! If you are still in Melbourne, you need to try the Greek food! Largest Greek population in Australia in Melbourne!
Pretty sure it's the largest population of Greeks outside of Greece itself
@@b0rnwithabeardit is. Okliegh is Greece 2.0

Alaysya is Turkish, old school Turkish good. If you had time and had their Lamb chops and meat platter you would froth. Been going there for 15 years. That’s my Mamas favourite restaurant. Glad you enjoyed their Kebab and Sydney road is full of food, shisha, bakery’s, cafes of many different Nationalities all the way from Coburg to Brunswick
Dont forget Falkner and Camblefield
can’t lie bro i’ve watched every vid the entertainment is next level
you sound like a 15yo soy boy that wants to sack him off bra...
Bro Alasya is turkish, not arab. The shop was there from the 70s, and the same owner was still there. The decor is still 70s, and that style of kebab is healthier than the caravans and old school
The og of kebab 20 30yrs ago when u wanted fri sat night feast that's the spot and still is real proper fresh bread and real meat full of fresh ingredients worthy of any price.
@vithakatsa5451 agree bro. The caravan meat is so cancer causing. People eat it late night which is even worse. If only they knew what they are eating
As a proper after dark eats professor of Melbourne, I can confirm it was actually decent joints. Wasn't gonna do the middle eastern community like he did the Italians with that gutter pizza episode.
He's not middle eastern tho lol
@@Gaby-gg3eqI think he meant because the Middle Eastern fans would be on his ass for it
Broooo alasya restaurant is the lowest. Damn man
does melbourne have a large middle eastern community, because im moving from sydney in a few weeks and need some good middle eastern foods
Nothing is wrong with the food scene in Sydney, Melbourne is just really top notch compared to not just Australia but the world.
Respect to you and crew , impressive content . Thing is some food vans are small in size but big in passion , respect in regards to the family values of , food ....

Melbourne is the food capital of Australia. Sydney Rd is a famous food Rd. Lots of Arabic and Italian restaurants. Now very multicultural street.

Daaaaaaamn incredible stuff! Would love to see a bit more of the inside, even if it is after you tasted the kebab, specially nr 5. It gave me Bioshock vibes. Loved Spanios giving Melb its props. The food truly is elite there
Laying up in hospital needed this ma g!
Alaysa is hand's down the best kebab in all of Melbourne. Used to get them all the time when my grandparents lived in Coburg. Everything is made in house including the Turkish bread on your kebab.
He said best kebabs in Melbourne and just walked around coburg hahaha
If you’re ever in Geelong try Universal Kebabs at the Metro servo just as you come into Corio. Corio King Kebabs is our go to kebab shop. Universal is only open from 6 and closed some days.
Alasya is a hugely popular Turkish place here that I even remember being 18yo & eating there (I'm over 50) & it started the trend IMO.
There is a lot of competition plus many immigrants from the middle east here in Melbourne & Coburg & Sydney Rd is the OG place for kebabs that people drive > 1hr for it.
I'm sure there are new, up & coming kebab places in Sydney as yet undiscovered.
Honestly, never tried Hannahs but will check it out & hope they keep their quality after people discovering it.
Sydney rd is a party street full of shisha places & the Arabic, Lebanese & Turkish people up there ensure the best thrive.
Truth is never had seafood here like Doyles or a pea mash pie like Harrys in Melbourne, bro.
Hope you're having a great time Spanian & God bless!

Spanian, how did you come to Melbourne for kebabs but not try Melbourne Kebab Station on Sydney road near Bell St. If you want to really blow your mind, try their mixed meat platter. I drive over an hour to eat there. There and Hanna's are my favourite
agree. i prefer hanna's bread, but their meat was too salty - and i love salty food. it was barely edible. maybe i. just went on a bad day? melbourne kebab station is elite especially if you like turkish bread kebabs. i prefer flatbread kebabs but i'm happy with the meat platters and HSPs.
Melbourne’s Best HSP: hawthorn grill and kebab house
Melbournian here, Loving these episodes as for the places you have gone I haven't been yet. Cant wait to go and try them myself.
If your still here or coming back. Id highly recommend for a souvlaki. Pita wrap it. In Huntingdale, South east Melbourne.
Ha ha. The Hanna’s kebab just kept getting better. Gotta say first time I had Turkish kebab I similar reaction, wow. This is great vid bro. Thnx again 🙏🙏
Moved from Sydney to Melbourne a few years ago and the food scene here absolutely CLEARS Sydney. I don't think I've had any sort of cuisine in Melbourne that wasn't better than I had in Sydney.
Yeh Sydney’s full of gronks & muppets that don’t even know how to cook food. Hope you brought something to the table when coming to Melbourne brother because we don’t need any more mullets down here yeh?

I used to go to Alasya’s in the 80’s and 90’s etc. Great place!
The type of bread at Hanna's is called paratha it's a layered rotti. Looks delicious
Is it an Indian joint?
@hanoitripper1809 not sure if it's an Indian joint, I dated a Malaysian/Afghan girl for a bit and she I introduced it to me, that bread is present in many different cultures now. They may call it something else, but that is definitely paratha and I'm jealous I'm not the one eating it.
Reminds me more of Saj bread, large and thin, makes for great wraps because you can pack it full of stuff and wrap it tightly.
That's not paratha
