I love the fact that most of the places either gave you extras or didn't let you pay at all. A very Greek thing to do. You will NOT go home hungry that's for sure. This episode had me smiling from ear to ear. Keep up the great work. I have shared this video with all of my family and friends.

No doubt generosity a very Greek thing however it isn't very common in businesses here (unlike in Greece where they often throw in extras). I believe it was more so due to being recognised or seeing a camera and thinking they are filming us, let's set a good impression.

On ya spanios👍been in oakleigh for years. Good to see someone do a review on oakleigh. When the greek soccer team came to Melbourne years ago ,the media was at the Melbourne airport to greet them ,one off the players walked up to a journalist asking " do you know where oakleigh is?"👍👍👍 BRAVO MEGALE.
I’m a new fan of Spanians who’s only found his channels in the last month and I’m sadly running out of content to watch of his now. The thing I love most about him is his wonderful manners, he says please and thank you to all the cashiers. It’s refreshing to see someone who looks tough, but he is still courteous, kind and polite to people. Keep it up Spanian!

As a Spaniard that lived in Chadstone, Oakleigh was my go to spot quiet a lot. Greek food and the community really made it homie and Greeks know how to eat. 🎉❤

One of the things that I have loved about growing up in Australia has been sharing food with some of the oldest food cultures and people we have ever known .

One thing that you can always expect from Spanian, aside from very geniune food commentary, is that he never fails to treat everyone politely. Please and thank yous, always. That really stood out for me. Its the small things that tells you about someone's character. Also shoutout to our cameraman, dude must have so much self control to not abandon Spanian and go eat all these food himself XD.

Lived in Melbourne for a little while in the 80's. Visited recently and went into the city looking for a souvlaki ..... I went to where my memories were and all I found was Bubble Tea shops. Thanks, now I can't wait to get back there, and a visit to Oakleigh will be top of my list.

Grew up in south Oakleigh as a kid, being Italian i used to hang for the canoli when grandma would take me shopping. You were either Greek, Italian, mediteranian or had no business there LOL
