      He used to go on podcasts pretty regularly for the first 7 or 8 years of his podcast (starting in 2009), mostly people part of the Deathsquad family, I.e., friends like D Trussel, Joey Diaz, YMH. It’s not his fault that lame people just discovered podcasts 5 years ago or so.
      The main reason, other than that he doesn’t need to promote anything, is what exactly happened here: Joe takes over the show and it basically becomes a JRE with Andrew and Crew, not the other way around. What you’re probably reacting to is the no headphones, which allows them to talk over each other and get quips out faster. JRE is one speaker at a time and spaced out because they are listening on headphones.

    Joe is such a genuine guy. It’s funny that these are his boys and yes, they do feel relaxed and comfortable around him but you can also tell that all them are admiring him and/or idolizing him. Not a thing wrong with that, he’s a master in his craft (or at least making one of the best efforts to be), he’s def the master in this podcast game, but he makes a joke? They all laugh. Not obnoxiously like they’re kissing his arse but they’re def into the convo. He converses and they’re glued to him like girls on their high school crushes lol but note how Joe went to each of them in conversation thru out the podcast and complimented each one of them on their craft and how they’re doing a great job in the podcast, highlighting what makes them a crucial part of the program, just being genuine Joe. Joe is speaking truth about health here. As you get older its not about how heavy you lift but more light weight reps. More reps of light weight will keep the weight off and it'll help with bone health. Cardio is great too. It's not about maxing out anymore the older you get. Know what you're doing in the gym guys

    Sometimes, Joe Rogan makes me want to cry. He says things sometimes that really just makes so much sense. People give him shit, but the way he talks about how he grew, how he changed, his mindsets that evolved, its beautiful. No matter what you think of him, you have to appreciate him for at least something.

    • @boyerindustries
      @boyerindustries Год назад +11

      Real talk, dude cares more about being the best version of a real person who can be an asset to his people, than any of his critics could ever comprehend with their egos in their way. He makes a real effort to be “what you see is what you get”, but with a rare ability to be brutally objective and continuously be less flawed among flawed humans, but not for a bulshitty reason of feeding his ego like most people who strive to be better everyday, he genuinely just wants to be as much an asset to those around him as possible and less of a liability than he may have been yesterday.
      It’s definitely a highly respectable thing to see because whatever you like or dislike about anyone, how they act or what they say, that unique underlying principle is really all anyone can ask for in a person.
