Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a
card?
- I have a $50 banknote in my pocket. Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The
restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to
pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping. After an unlimited number of
payments, it will still remain a $50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for
payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made..
- But if I come to a restaurant and pay for digitally - Card, bank fees for my payment transaction
charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50 and so will the fee $1.50 for each further payment
transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the
barber etc..... Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 and the
remaining $45 became the property of the bank thanks to all digital transactions and fees

Sydney Kebabs Bankstown have been in the area for almost 40yrs. 25yrs with it's current owners. They have the freshest and the best ingredients, friendliest service and are VERY generous with their meals. They cut no corners, always a pleasant experience and well worth the drive 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️

He’s absolutely right about Auburn kebab shop. I find the customer service rude and in a rush just to get paid. They want cash and it’s quite obvious that’s because of TAX purposes. Auburn kebab shop is expensive and money hungry.

I’ve been going to New Star Kebabs for ten years. I was shocked last year to see their mix plates go for $40. Never considered the cash only to be a problem, but when you hear it from someone else, it really did hit home for me. Won’t be going there anymore. Thanks Spanian

Exact same thing through with places that refuse to accept cash! I will never return to a place that tells me I have to pay electronically...places should give people the option, cash or card, it's up to you as the consumer how you wish to pay.
It's not the fees they are trying to save by not having EFT it's the tax they are trying to avoid to pay. Cash is untraceable.

Exactly... they aren't saving a few cents in EFT fees they're saving 30% of the kebab price. Probably pay their staff cash too and therefore skimp out on paying superannuation and worker's compensation insurance for their team. Everybody loses, especially their staff and the other businesses in the area who do the right thing and are at an unfair disadvantage because of it.

I live like 2 minutes from brothers and I knew they would knock your socks off. You should do a yerros/gyro version of this 👍 I know it’s very similar but yerros and kebabs are completely different and I think it would be a good laugh.
Gyro is better then a kebab imo. It's hectic when you put chips in the gyro.

You have to try the yeeros shop in Marrickville. When I was growing up as a kid in Earlwood it was the best kebab joint around. They call it yeeros, but it's more like a traditional kebab. Only difference is that the meat is like mad Greek flavored lamb and shit.

Sultan's Waitara has the hands down best kebab in Sydney, I would go out of my way when I drove from both Canberra and the Central Coast when I lived there and now I drive from Parramatta.

This is a Different league but one day if you get the chance, you have to try the German style Döner. There was a bloke selling them in Ryde but he had to close, fingers crossed he opens again somewhere (Berlin Food Bunker). Otherwise can’t beat getting one from the Fatherland. Personal favourite was Yede Gör Dönerbude in Düsseldorf, lived off those for a month and they were hectic.

Sydney Kebab on Hume Highway is an institution. Another famous place that has been around for years is Hey Hey Kebab on Parramatta Rd, Auburn. It is the small shop with the giant chandelier next to the pub.

Next time you go to Canterbury kebabs you have to try the chicken burgers. The burgers are what made the place famous around the area. My aunty lives around the corner and I've been there many times. The chicken burgers are hectic.
