I've been out of the gym for 3 months now and it started with shoulder blade pain, I managed to massage it with a hot cloth and it went away. At the same time I was also suffering from bicep tendonitis and this greatly helped! Within a few minutes of doing it I feel so relieved. Thank you very much!

You can get your long head reattached. The procedure is called tenodesis, and attaches it to the humerus. I know distal ruptures have a small window for successful reattachment, a common injury with dead lifters and sometimes known to happen with Scott bench curl enthusiasts, so I gather the same goes for proximal ruptures.

Thankyou. I strained the bicep tendon attaching to the forearm doing heavy curls. I knew after i did it it was not tendonitis. Ive felt that more times than i can count. This was something more acute. After 10 years of lifting I know to stop immediately and get the hell out of the gym. 5 days later and i almost dropped my coffee cup this morning it hurt so bad.... I know its not torn completely, i can still move my bicep. It just fucking hurts at the joint. This seemed to help alittle, and is something proactive i can do to heal.

I find that a lot of these videos focus solely on treatment of symptoms rather than addressing underlying causes…which would have a much greater impact on treatment and prevention of the problem in the future. What would be useful is a video tackling the relationship of these injuries to the surrounding tissues and muscles. Also the role of nutrition. This is like treating a wound without removing the infection. This is all my opinion of course.

You guys are amazing. I have biceps inflammation (as told to me by my othro) He advised 6 weeks off of any upper body lifting in the gym (i go 4 times a week) and to take anti-inflammatory meds. It helped slightly. He said if the pain is still there he will give me a shot. Im totally against getting surgery or a shot if it is not 100% needed. After 2 minutes of this massage on the tendon. It feels infinitely better. I will continue this and see how it goes.

I developed shoulder tendonitis and had a return of sciatica from taking levofloxin for a tooth abscess. The shoulder pain is in my left shoulder blade up through my shoulder and down my arm. My ring finger and little finger will tingle at times. Very limited movement to the side and I cannot reach behind my back at all. My PC said this is a reaction from the antibiotic and would probably go away with time. I'm seeing an acupressure chiropractor and this seems to be helping. The sciatic pain is mainly when laying down. Your videos have helped a lot. I used to walk a lot and do some light weight work. I'm female, over 60 yrs. I'm now afraid to exercise in case the drugs cause more harm. Any suggestions for this type of tendonitis caused by flouroquinolones?

What about the short head tendon and treating tendonosis of that? Is that an injury other people have dealt with?

Can this pain be caused due to a fall on an outstreched arm?

Spent weeks resting, taking NSAIDs and putting ice with little to no result. Pain was also affecting my neck/upper back due to the weakness caused in the shoulder, starting to be really frustrating.
But few days after trying out this I feel much better and I think I'm slowly recovering! So thanks a lot for the video. I was wondering if you have any PayPal to donate some bucks?
