Have been in extreme pain for 3 weeks. Struggling to carry groceries, waking up in pain. Reaching high up for objects hurt. Was following an exercise program but nothing seemed to work. Followed all of this advice and literally after one night of sleep, I am feeling 50% better! Thanks guys!
@Piyush The body is weird. What I have noticed is that sometimes it responds to exercises temporarily but depending upon the severity of the injury it gets use to the exercise and the pain shows its ugly face again. I suspect I have a spinal accessory nerve palsy of sorts. Right trapezius atrophied, impinged right shoulder, swollen right scm. Getting an mri on my neck today actually. Thinking I might have a pinched nerve in my neck, a neuroma, etc. My shoulder mobility has returned, and I have about 80% of my strength in my right arm back. All the pain is localized in my right scm now. I also stretch out my chest regularly by performing doorway stretches. I am also seeing a personal trainer now two days a week to work on all my muscle imbalances.
I just found your channel and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am in my 70's and even with insurance I could not afford my co-pay. My pain was off the charts so thank you for unselfish help and teaching. Louise

I was "diagnosed" with bursitis in my shoulder when I was 22. The dr performed what I lightly term as the Vulcan Death Grip( He actually poked his finger directly into my shoulder joint and held it there) as I am sure I went into shock while my head simultaneously fell off, rolled across the floor, and left a trail of tears to follow for future retrieval. I find watching your videos gentler upon my constitution ;)
Thank you very much. After just 10 minutes of massaging that scar tissue I can actually put a ponytail in my hair now only after 5 minutes. Thank you very much I think you may have saved me a few hundred dollars in physical therapist bills. I just can't believe the difference in 5 minutes.

I have been in PT for cervical nerve damage, and a right shoulder bursitis/tendonitis impingement, and your last exercise with using a pole gave me more rotation in my shoulder than I have had in a year. My right arm has been like a chicken wing super tight to my body. How is it, that with the pole I'm able to move my arm? without using the pole I can't move my arm to that length... however, I'm grateful. My PT never showed me this, all of her movements caused serious pain :( thank you for this... it's a godsend. I had bursitis as well as an encapsulated shoulder on my right shoulder. My coracoid bone was curled into my joint. The surgeon removed my bursa sac, shaved down the coracoid bone, cleaned up the scar tissue, and removed arthritis build-up. That was a little over a year ago. Just as I am currently recovering, my left shoulder was bothering me a little before the foot surgery. Now it's extremely painful. It's not encapsulated, but I fear it may head that way. I can tell it's bursitis. Laying on my shoulder is painful, putting on my shirts and coat are painful. I'm tired of all of these joint issues. Thanks for all the help. I have both tendonitis and bursitis in my shoulder and am unable to afford physical therapy because insurance doesn't cover it and I have been looking for ways to help with the pain.
Biofreeze was my best friend when first one then the other shoulder went through a bout of seriously painful bursitis. Pain so bad when it would impinge, I'd about pee my pants. I learned to sleep on my back after that. And that putting pillows longways behind me, sleeping at a 30°-45° angle, allowed my shoulders to roll back and rest in a more natural, pain free position. The "elephant" arm swing and scapula stretches helped too. And wall finger crawls.
Nice video! I work on my shoulders in a similar way to pole exercise, but just by pushing down on a high backed chair. An important thing that I think you missed (was key for me in healing): You need to not let your shoulders come forward (out of position) when you do this exercise! I was doing that at first and it made things worse. Only go as far back as you can before shoulders come forward.
I have bursitis in my right shoulder. Started to used cbd oil to help with my anxiety which is helping but also found that it must be reducing the inflammation in my shoulder and the pain has eased a lot better than what tramadol was doing.
From a covid vaccine in my shoulder I instantly developed amazing pain in my shoulder joint. Unable to sleep properly, reach up, use the arm (just able to use the hand on the affected side or drive using the affected shoulder. It has been about three weeks now. I have already done the pillow thing when sleeping as there was no way I could sleep without pillow support. Thanks for the advice

My first time.. 65 years old. I've been doing the crawl stroke most my adult life. Now I can't without pain. I hope I can get it back? I love to swim. Thanks for the presentation and analysis
Btw. When problem usually comes from bad posture etc you dont want to enhance that with doing that internal rotary Exercice as much as you do external movement. They are both important but do less of internal..
While walking my dogs, very large dogs, a cat run across right to left in front of us. So, buck took off after the cat pulling my right arm across my chest fast and hard. The next day I woke up in severe pain. I went to a walk in clinic and they took some X-rays. The said I needed to see a ortho doctor and made me an appointment. The orthopedic doctor looked at the X-rays and said I have calcific tendonitis and there was nothing he can do. He gave me a cortisone inject along with a pain reliever. He prescribed a couple meds of pain reliever & muscle relaxer! It’s been nine days since the event and I still can not raise my humerus without severe pain! My hand and bicep works fine. What can I do. I’ve been trying the exercises you are showing without and success. Just added pain. A neighbor said he received ultra sound treatments that helped relieve the pain which allowed him to do the exercises! Help!
It's hard to find a combination of sheer intelligence and a sense of humor these days, Dr. Bob and Dr. Brad; you are awesome; you cracked me up when I was in pain.
I had a horrible tear in my shoulder one of the worst the surgeon seen ended up having 2 surgeries a year apart. My shoulder no longer pops out of joint so that's awesome but the pain I get after a tough day at work is unreal It just throbs all night long and this is 8 years later. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.
My doctor reccommended therapy exercises do not seem to help so far. I had ulnar nerve surgery: carpal and cubical entrapment. My test results after surgery showed great improvement, yet after recovery, I still had elbow pain in the same place. I noticed that it was triggered by my arm raising. Swinging small circle up and forward causes a pop, and my elbow hurts shortly afterward. My doctor called it bursitis and that it usually affects a different part of the elbow. I am hoping that your therapies work.
This is great! I just recently started having trouble with my shoulders. I’m fifty nine and used to be a gymnast. I’m babysitting my grand son and I’m holding him quite a bit. My arms feel like they are just going to drop off my body. Doing these should really help. Thank you so much!! ❤️💜💚
Fabulous group of exercises. Exactly what I needed for repetitive injuries i get with my arthritis, bursitis & torn rotator cuffs. Thank you for your quick, descriptive, helpful guidance 💪👏👌
Thank you! Everything you described is my right shoulder exactly. It is fine all day, then I sleep on it at night and can hardly move my arm in the morning. In an hour or so, it loosens up and feels fine. Tonight, I will be using the pillow under my "trunk" to relieve the pressure on my shoulder.
A week ago I was talking to my wife telling her that I know in August I will be turning 56 but ,I don't feel much past my mid 20's . The next day one of my knees starting hurting( right in the center of my knee) then after some creams and rest it started to feel some bit better to only get up and have the other knee to start hurting and it hasn't let up much yet ! My first time.. 65 years old. I've been doing the crawl stroke most my adult life. Now I can't without pain.
I hope I can get it back? I love to swim. Thanks for the presentation and analysis
Is it okay to do dumbbell rows bent over with a shoulder impingement for tendonitis or bursitis whatever I have?
If it causes new pain or more pain we wouldn't suggest it.
Excellent information… great job guys
I’ve been trying to get treatment after my car accident for 2 years now- I’ll try all of these!
Standard pillows, throw pillows, and body pillows. I will try this! I am a left shoulder sleeper and that is where the action is.
Btw. When problem usually comes from bad posture etc you dont want to enhance that with doing that internal rotary Exercice as much as you do external movement. They are both important but do less of internal..
lol
@@mikeohernia5498 And what are you laughing about?

Help!
You Guys are great! Explaining in your other video about tendonitis and how to rub your arm properly!🙂
Well you guys are great. You’ve helped me do some exercises for my shoulder pain!
These guys are hilarious. Thanks for all your help.
It's hard to find a combination of sheer intelligence and a sense of humor these days, Dr. Bob and Dr. Brad; you are awesome; you cracked me up when I was in pain.
I subscribed to your channel because you guys were not liked as kids.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have tendon tears in my shoulder. Thanks for your videos
❤️💜💚
Great video! I'll certainly try it myself the next days.
I know it's an old post. Been at it 2 days and feel the difference. I did not want more tablets from the GP
Pls share a Video showing get rid of Pain which starts from back of the Neck and goes towards the shoulder blades.
no kidding! I need that too.
THANK YOU!!!! I NEED THOSE EXERCISES. ❤️
Fabulous group of exercises. Exactly what I needed for repetitive injuries i get with my arthritis, bursitis & torn rotator cuffs.
Thank you for your quick, descriptive, helpful guidance 💪👏👌
Thanks so much guys
Best thing for tenderness is pinappe juice ,try it ! A big difference for tendernitis.
Thank you! Everything you described is my right shoulder exactly. It is fine all day, then I sleep on it at night and can hardly move my arm in the morning. In an hour or so, it loosens up and feels fine. Tonight, I will be using the pillow under my "trunk" to relieve the pressure on my shoulder.
TQ for sharing. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
Thank you so much! You guys Rock!!!! I
Question? Is there any suggestions on vitamins and/or minerals to take during these exercises?
