It's labelled as passive and the most aggressive move is a simple push... and then also big power fist for some reason. Edit: Don't get me wrong the gameplay looks super cool tho, the punch seems really satisfying.
The style doesn't seem to be pacifist. It's more like a defensive/counter heavy style where you wait for the opponent to make a mistake and then strike, like Guile from Street Fighter or Geese from the SNK games, and those two certainly aren't pacifists.

Friends, your can turn grass area into sand by walking in it alot. Just go to some universities with bad sidewalk layouts. It won't take as many bombs as you think to change an area's biome. It's more to deal with changing the thickness of the atmosphere above an area than direct damage unless you're talking about a metro area.

This was my indie game of PAX Prime, easy. They let me sit down and try it and I was amazed, shocked, there wasn't a line going around the whole of the indie area to play this rad shit.

I wish this game would go all in on the pacifist thing. Enemies could just collapse instead of flying off when poked. The meter move could let you no-sell a hit instead of punching. And throwing back anything at anyone would be forbidden.
Yeah I was imagining as you counter and dodge attacks you bind their limbs with a rope, hojojutsu style, where the final counter has the dude fall over and roll around, unable to get up.
