    Nice wrap Steve ,but couldn't help noticing it got tail? The ones on ian barrs site have partridge feathers for a tail ?? Is just your preference to have no tail ?

      My experience with shrimp patterns is the tail makes no difference. I have both and don't notice the difference.

    Lovely, what hill lochs in your homeland would you fish this one ,as a Scot all I fish these days are the wild lochs.👍

    Hi Mr Cullen as usual a decent pattern and commentary on how fished and materials .. why does your hook keep slipping in vice

    What do you use for the hackle? I’ve bought some English Grey Partridge neck feathers, they seem too small.

    Steve ,throw that vice of yours in the bin and get yourself a vice with a decent head to hold the hook more firmly, it will make life easier for you 👍🏻

    Great fly and instructions,what’s best way to fish it ,I’ve got grey partridge,smallest feather I’ve got looks to big,is there somewhere I could get smaller ones ?
