6:08 Not a huge deal, but I recommend reconnecting the ribbon cable and testing the that the buttons work before putting the black box back on. This way if you messed something up it will be easier to fix before reassembling everything.
I opted to go with recroom masters Jr edition, it's larger than the 3/4 and their materials are top notch but... i ordered a Streets of Rage 4 cab and i'm sorry, but it NEEDS yellow and red LED buttons. It's not even here yet and i'm anticipating modifying it lol.
I've never heard of that brand but man it looks awsome! Pretty cool how many options it has to run games. I Really like it & I might pick one up in the future. The fact you can run a PC on it is exactly what I wanted since I play fighting games. Running Fightcade 2 on a actual cab would be a dream. Not to mention how impossible its been trying to stream directly from the cab for live matches. With that said the A1UP online community has been pretty dope! And I don't think I'd ever go back to a cab without online capability. Thanks for the comment man really cool Cabinet. 🤘🏼
Hi, by the look of the step drill it doesn’t seem to go as deep as your button but the button still fits? Great if that’s the case cos I didn’t think a step drill bit would work cos it wouldn’t go the whole way
Yeah I went like half way in if I pushed it any further the top wouldn’t fit anymore. They way I have it now it fits snug and I haven’t had any problems with it at all
They can be pretty cheap like 20-40 bucks or more if you get better colors. The only reason I think 1up arcade is worth it is the online. You can play these games on your phone for free but do you really want to pay 400 to play by yourself? The upgrade just makes it look cool. And slightly better/comfortable than the stock buttons.

Does anyone have any tips for making NEW staggered holes? The straight-line button placement really hurts my wrist because I have to bend my hand weirdly to reach buttons.
I wish I knew how to change them, I feel the same way. The only way someone has changed it is by making there own table top. Which for most of us is out of the question.
Oo I forgot to tell you in case if the ball or battop comes loose you can use a drop of blue thread lock. Once it settles and cures it should end that problem
O shit why didnt even think of that! 😅 I think its just the cheap bat top that comes with the Cabinet that does that. I changed it to this black sanwa ball top i had lying around and it doesn't come off anymore.
@@andremartinez5307 threadlock is only used for metal on metal contact. I mentioned it in reference to a loose ball or bat top. You only use 1 drop as it spreads on to the threads after it fully cures screwing on or off won't be a problem.
I mean I wish they came that way but just imagine the price hike they would charge for having quality parts 😮💨 no matter what they do people are gonna want to customize it to their liking either way. Your either a fan that's willing to buy one or someone who kinda likes it and doesn't think it's worth it. For me personally I love it and I'm extremely satisfied looking at my cab everyday.
i dont understand why you are drilling screws use a screwdriver, i did 5 of these cabs with no power tools also they make screw in buttons that do not require drilling 🫠

I wish I would have thought of putting that in the video because that did happen to me. 🤷🏽♂️
Straight up.
Good video.
Thanks dude I appreciate that 🤝🏽

when connecting the terminal wires back onto the buttons, does it matter which order they go back or it doesnt matter?
No, it doesn’t matter
Great vid!
Thanks man I hope it helps
Does it matter that these buttons are made for thin panels? Do they stay in place?
They stay in place just fine. I haven't have issues at all.
How much is just the Sanwa buttons ? Pre built decks are like 400? So doing it myself saves how much ?

great video, what is your tag name in Arcade1up?
Lord Orochimaru is my tag, I don't get on as often as I used to. But I pop in from time to time 🤘🏽

Thanks for the video bro! I have a question so does the pexiglass protector safe on while you’re drilling the holes?
Can you also do a video on instilling the sanwa joystick? Thanks
I don't have one yet im waiting for them to restock then ill make one
You can take it off if you want but I didn't. Theres plenty of space and your not gonna mess it up.
@@coldspacemusic cool thanks bro! 🤙

If you use thread lock, won't it be a pain in the ass to take off if you want to swap buttons again?

@@rubenmejia4881 ahh ok, thank you
What size for the buttons?
Get the 30mm buttons
7:56 fighting game struggles
😅 Always has been always will be a struggle 😂
Too much of a hassle for something that Arcade1up should have installed in the first place.

why are you making more work for yourself lmao
