Hello, I am getting the Class of '81 Deluxe cabinet, and I'd like to swap out the joystick during the assembly. Do you know if your instructions will be different for the newer deluxe cabinet? Apparently, the control panel and the monitor are 1 unit, so I'm concerned that the install might be different. Also, do you recommend swapping out the buttons too, or just the joystick? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have this stick and play tekken, i find myself having ghost inputs quite often, when i do F,DF,F / aka wavedash it spazz out and does alot of wrong inputs, any advice?

For anyone who is still looking to mod their arcade stick/1Up, it really is easy. But yes, do pay attention to the spring section of this video. That being said, it is sooooo satisfying once you mod a stick and make it your own. I definitely recommend everyone to give it a shot. I started just doing the buttons and even that was fun and a big improvement.

Hi, by the look of the step drill it doesn’t seem to go as deep as your button but the button still fits? Great if that’s the case cos I didn’t think a step drill bit would work cos it wouldn’t go the whole way

Thnx so much! The BIOS settings fixed all the crackling of my Apollo in windows 11. I also installed Process Lasso and did some settings on audiodg.exe (CPU Priority on always High and CPU Affinity on always CPU2).

Attenttion The cover tray is stubborn to remove The wires to the buttons are easy But my screws on the sticks could not be removed And i tried alot of methods. So i ended up just replacing the gates and boards in my sticks, And its fine!

All the ASIOS does, is what Rodecaster does and stuff like that which is create separate output drivers. However, while the workaround technically gets rid of the crackle, the audio quality is not as good and it’s janky in other programs like Vonage so if you use your mic for phone calls too outside of OBS, it’s going to sound lower quality

Add more interfaces just switched from my zen go to Apollo because of the cracking and this probably was the solution good to join th family anyway

You say you have no use for second side but if you're cabinet had windows in it combined with mame and autohotkey. You can use second side make one button macros or combination of button presses to activate anything in windows. Here's a small demo of a script. ::zzz:: run smash flash 2.exe return. As you see in this small script you have 3 z's. When you press the z 3 times in a row and then press space on the arcade buttons. Super Smash 2 would start running. I call this script the Morse code macro. Anything between ::??????:: Will activate something. As you see I have 6 question marks. You would press it 6 times in a row and activate the macro with a space key. Autohotkey is awesome if you use windows as your main arcade games.
