Dam that’s the first time I’ve heard of this problem. If you just bought it see if they will replace it. I would also contact Ableton and see if they can help you out.

Yes it's a big problem with the Push 2. I often find my self messing with the USB cable. If you have the USB cable tied down leave it loose and just wiggle it around or plug and unplug it. I really haven't found a way to solve this issue. 😕
Dam that’s crazy! Did you buy recently buy it? I’m sure the warranty will cover that. Also try messing around with the usb cable. It’s the weak point of the Push2. I constantly have to wiggle it around to make it work properly.
I myself haven't bought a new cable but my wire is fucking up and I have to replace the USB cable that comes with the Push 2. You can buy one from Ableton but I've seen a red cable from Roland that fits the Push 2 on someone else's channel 🤔. This will stop your Push 2 from randomly disconnecting when using your machine.
