Madcatz TES+ Problem [ Fightcade ]

My Joystick inputs are messed up and no longer register as joystick imputs.
Up is Arrow Up, Down is Arrow down, select is Tab, Start is 1, ect.
im using a Madcatz TES+
it also acts like this with PS4 controller
Anyone know what i can do? tried to update drivers but i cant find it. drivers are from 2006 =[

i have this stick and play tekken, i find myself having ghost inputs quite often, when i do F,DF,F / aka wavedash it spazz out and does alot of wrong inputs, any advice?

How long have you had yours? I recently had to change out switches because they do give out after a while. I would suggest changing them out and see if that helps. Also I know people replace the board for a higher end Brooke’s board. But that involves a lot of wire work that I’m too lazy to do. Also idk if that messes with the “PS Authentication” so just a heads up

ive had it for a while, i played alot of tekken 7 like 2-3 years ago then now deciding to come back for tekken 8, but yeah if thats the case i might just buy a new one, the one i got is like impossible to modify, the y really went the extra mile to make it as difficult as possible to change anything, tried opening it but its like 30 screws, the middle plate is super stuck even when i unscrew it, it just wont budge cuz the wires for the pause button are put in a way that u cant remove it, idk i think im just getting a new one sadly

Shutting down Steam BEFORE, opening Fightcade 2 has completely solved this issue!

Yes it’s a very good stick! I still use it now that street fighter 6 is out on my PS5 no problems. I found a fix to the issue in this video. I had to close Steam in order to play on Fightcade like normal.
