That's exactly MY car. Even the color is the same. For what it's worth, Pep Boys stocks (on the shelf) the oil filter wrench specifically for this vehicle. It's a RiteFit model A266, and the packaging says "HYUNDAI SONATA CAP WRENCH", 2006 & up. I looked EVERYWHERE for it, and even though there were several different sizes, no one carried this particular wrench. They all had to special order. If you choose to go with a different brand, make sure that it's 88mm-15. So yeah, I was not only happy that it was available off the shelf, but totally surprised to see that it was made exclusively for the Sonata! Nice video.
@@maab4641 Due to dealer negligence, after several thousand dollars worth of repairs, the engine got a bad rod knock from lack of oil. We ended up donating it to Vietnam Vets. Sorry to see the car go because it had good power and a NICE comfortable ride! Happened a year ago at 250 something K miles. If you can hang on to yours, do it. Thanks for the share.
What a team! Most people never change the O-rings and they get incredibly brittle just as you've shown. The new camera works great, so does the little camera girl.
That camera shoots some nice and clear video. Is Rose okay, she sounds like she has a soar throat. looks like you're getting more cars to work on, that great!
I noticed the oil pan on my 09 3.3 sonata is coated all over in oil. I did find a small oil leak in the front of the passenger side valve cover that is very slowly leaking onto the alternator from a sloppy piece of high temp silicone. Do you think that could also be the cause of the leak onto the oil pan? Thank you!

You have to find the highest point of the oil leak.
