A great idea for this project would be to have the secondary yarn (for the dots) to be a variegated yarn so all the dots are random colors of whatever pops up at that time. 😊.

When starting a new row, I was always taught to NOT count the stitch on the hook when counting where to start. However, on your videos, it appears that you do count the stitch on the hook as the first stitch, i.e., the second stitch is right next to the stitch on the hook. Am I seeing this correctly?
