Love this pattern..its fantastic for learners to get the hang of it but still create a lovely pattern blanket and for those who can't afford different colour wool you can still do an effective pattern..this is the first time I've seen you but not the last as subscribed and set up a new playlist just for you..i love that you explained fully and didn't whizz through the stitches.. love it..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👏

Thank you so much for your patterns and instructions! I just completed this blanket & starting on the border and decided to look up how to do the border. Seeing this reveals that I didn’t follow the pattern as well as I thought! 😂 I did herringbone half double crochets the entire way (including the lines of color) & I did the bobbles slightly different (pulled through one, leaving 11 on the hook instead of 6). But it’s still looking amazing!!! Thank y’all so much! 🤗

I started with this blanket of yours, it's just gorgeous, and I would like to ask you if you could post a video showing how to wove in all the ends before you move onto the border around the blanket, if it's possible!? I am almost finishing the blanket and I don't know what to do with all those loose yarns... I would really appreciate that! Thanks once again and congrats on your beautiful works!
OMG!! That is beautiful and while I am new to this, your videos at DFC are amazing!! I am not an expert yet but I am a moderate. :-)
I found the herringbone sections way too slow to make and I could not keep track of row counts and then my bobbles did not line up. Ripped out all nine inches, and I decided to do the white areas in dc, and I am using stitch markers to locate the bobble stitch spots. So far so good. It is working up much faster. Thanks for putting this vid on youtube.
I hate the herringbone stitch and I wanted to use DC also. Glad someone else had success with it! ♥️♥️

I'm almost done this blanket for my little girl, its beautiful and I love it! I hope she does too.
I'm on my last row before I start the border but I wasn't able to find a video showing how to do the border. :( Do I tie off my last stitch in my last row and then start the border fresh? Or does the yarn continue into the border? (Hope this makes sense...) Beginner crochet-er! :)

I used a similar yarn (Teddy's Wool Classic - I don't have access to the yarn you used) and a 5 mm crochet hook, 120 chain stitches, but the width came out almost twice as long. I guess it doesn't really matter, because it's a blanket, not an article of clothing, but I am wondering how and why that happened.
Can I change the yarn type to merino wool yarn? Thank you so much.

I want to make 36×36 inch baby blanket.
Do I multiple 7 × 36 +8?. I got 260. That seems too long. Do I ÷ 2= 130.

If base chain is 120 does that mean you have 118 stitches across?
