My favorite blanket to make. I purchased several books and have made 4 of the original. I made a tween size in PURPLE! and an Christmas baby size in green with yellow and red “Christmas light bulbs”
I used the V stitch patter to make the white base, with the green In variety of stripes, with same green border. They all were fantastic. Thanks!

I’m working this pattern now except I’m not doing the flowers but making it a solid white blanket with a border of sage green and pink which is the colors the young woman is using In her nursery, it’s a lovely pattern and so quick to work! Thanks for sharing!

Tiffany, I had asked you about the pattern you did for Kate's Birthday doll, but I think I am going to make 3 12X12 in of this pattern for my 3 girl babies for their girl baby dolls for Christmas! Sounds like a wonderful addition! I too love "putting my own Stamp" on pieces I make. I believe this is refered to "taking poetic license". My favorite addition is to top stitch embroidery; a family tree, flowers, initials....my personal touch ❤️🥰

This pattern is absolute genius! It's amazingly easy and flows so well. I couldn't wait to order the yarn so I am using some I have on hand in off-white, heather green and light peach. How does Paton compare to Caron soft?
I feel like Caron Simply soft is a flatter acrylic with no bounce. Patons has bounce to it yet still super soft. I think Patons is more forgiving with uneven tension where CSS you need to be more precise.
