Tiffany I am making this in crayola colors and white and it is so beautiful, quick and fun. TFS! I was making it in hopes of having a grandson this summer, and when he was just born last week we were all surprised a boy! Keep the faith! Grandchildren are a blessing.

This is a great stitch! I’m having so much fun carrying a different color of yarn, then do a row of hdc with both colors of yarn and it looks cool!!

Love afghan, colors & stitch. But having trouble keeping stitch count. Tiffany you started with 15 ch. Like almost always 1st stitch- you end up with 12sts. That I get. But doing the chain your way I keep losing 2 stitches. I chained 23ch after first row have 20sts. Next row get to end do the two together half doubles. Ch 3 turn start in same space as urs. Get to end short 2sts. ( u didn’t count ur stitches at end. ) please help figure this out ty.

Hi there. You don’t mention cutting the ends at the color changes in the video or on the written pattern but I assume you do? And then weave ends in at the end?

I am only using two blues and white so adjusting where the orange is. Also, I am making a throw blanket. How would I finish the pattern for the rest of the blanket?

Can anyone tell me the actual color of the darker blue? The pattern, the directions and the video all say something different. Is it dark country blue or medium country blue?! Help please! This is a gorgeous blanket! I just think I bought the wrong darker blue!

Your foundation row may be too tight. Try going up a size on your crochet hook just for the foundation row. That happened to me too.

I like the stitch pattern, but I'd never use those colors for anyone, most especially not for a baby!
