- Hello, Hannah here with a new baby blanket pattern! Crochet Sea Stripes Baby Blanket:
Yarn - Bernat Forever Fleece yarn (100% polyester, 280 g/9.9 oz, 177 m/194 yds)
Colors - 2 balls Balsam, 1 ball each of Juniper, Dark Eucalyptus, Sage and White Noise
Tools - Size M/N 9.00mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors
Size - Finished size 34 in x 38 in, gauge 4 in = 9 st and 8 rows

I just bought this yarn at Joann's. Wrong sign for $2.99 was up. They gave it to me for that price. I am so excited to try this.
As usual, another beautiful pattern. I absolutely love the color scheme.
FOLLOW UP: I just bought all the supplies to make this blanket. I just started crocheting a couple months ago. I'm excited to see how my first big project turns out!

Oh u are super splinfliforous ! My only grandson just had his baby. I haven't got my yarn or hooks yet .. Il get it together. Been a rough year. But. I NEED to do this. For my sanity. Lol. Lol. No joke. ! U are an excellent teacher. Thank you !

Love the color combination for this blanket. However, I could not find the color sage anywhere as it’s discontinued so I had to substitute another color. Just want to mention that the pattern does not say to do 4 more rows of the balsam after the 3rd repeat of colors but I see in this video that is what you did before starting the border. Like the way that looks much better so that is what I did. Thanks for making this video to check back with for clarification.
I'm banned from buying new yarn until I complete at least one of my wips lol! I don't have any bulky yarn so I'm gonna try this with a medium weight in a second. Lol!

beginner for sure. you'll feel like a pro though because the stitches from a flower bud pattern that looks very pretty

You said the yarn didn't make a heavy baby blanket. Would it be too heavy for a throw or twin sized blanket?
Could you tell me what size hook for a 4 ply yarn unless u can get it on sale I cannot afford chunky yarn so I do most projects with 4 ply I just did a yarn haul for 11 red heart ombre it was 74.00 so I use the red heart or any other yarn that is 4 ply that is under 3 or 4 bucks if you make afghan even then it could cost you 100.00 just for a afghan

I bought this yarn and crochet about two sets of stripes and the color of this yarn does not look anything like shown in the video picture. My forever fleece colors are dark and drab. I ripped it out and I am going to give the yarn away. Not that pretty in person.
