So much wonderful inspiration..... I don't know what project to work on first! Thank you so much! (Please don't mind this name, it's my son's gaming nick name 🤣)
Mikey please don't change the way you teach patterns!!! I have no problems learning from you!!! You are the reason crochet is fun!!! Thank you for everything you do!!! One super grateful crocheter, Harriet Horne
Thank you for posting the right-handed version. 💜
Thank you for this pattern! I will be using it for the next baby blanket I make!❤
Thank you Mikey. You are such a great teacher and make it so easy to understand!
This is beautiful Mikey, I think I want to try it and see how I do! Thank you 😊 ❤
Thank you for sharing this with us. I appreciate you!
So soft and simple and pretty.
Thank you for a great tutorial.
Love TCC!!! Mikey is soooo easy to understand!
Thank you Michael for posting this! I ve been waiting for this blanket ! Just became a Great Aunt . Once done I will send it to Germany to my new Great Nice. Enjoy your weekend
Congrats!!!
That’s pretty. I made up my own heart stitch that is different. If I knew how to do a video of it I would try to do one.
I thought the pattern states for the bobbles that you go under the horizontal bar & the top 2 loops, Mikey only goes under the horizontal bar?
Bit confusing as how it’s written does match the diagram, it sounds one way but shows the action differently
This would be so soft for baby
Thank you !
Mikey 💜💜💜💜💜 love this. Thank you💜
You're welcome.
Just curious, the instructions I have say “worked under top two loops and horizontal bar” so that would mean you basically go around them all correct?
Yes I think that’s right.
So pretty!!!
Beautiful baby blanket! For the sake of the tutorial it would be easier to see the stitches with a regular acrylic yarn.
noted... thanks for the great feedback.
I like it is beauty. I see you from Chile
First of all let me say I’m a crocheter 😂( if that’s a word)because of you and bag o day crochet anyway I used sweet snuggles lite 6 super bulky for this pattern I’m so I have to turn wen changing color I haven’t been and I’m getting ready to start my 3 rd row of flowers and I don’t wanna continue doing it my way if it’s going to throw the pattern off? I hope that made sense but thank you so much for all your great videos
Thank you! Can't wait to get stuck into this for my next project. Perfect for mu white & red chenille I have ready to go!
Can you use a different type of yarn? I have such a hard time seeing this yarn 😔
I love this!!!!!
Hi there! I've been watching your videos for years!
I would love to make this blanket for a friend, but I can't see quite well with this yarn! Is there any way that you can use a Redheart yarn or something with a more acrylic to be able to see please!?
Thank you so much!
Question. Would it maybe work to make it more secure and totally eliminate possible worming if a person took a regular needle and a matching thread and whip stitched an inch or so of both sides of the end to surrounding yarn after weaving it in like that? I love this yarn but can't justify using it in gifts for new babies when I know anything I make with it has to be babied to launder at a time parents already have too much to do.
Please tell where you got that big eyed needle. This blanket is so cute!!
You can find them online
Amazon. Search for "large eye Pony Aluminum Wool Needle on Amazon's website.
Tq so much from Indonesia 🙏🙏
Great tutorial! Easy to understand and follow.
Cute pattern but there’s no way this yarn won’t worm like crazy after use and washings. I can’t bear to give a new mom a binkie that has to be hand washed. I will try it with another soft baby yarn and appropriate hook. Thanks Mikey!
I'm glad you are thinking ahead. This type of yarn is better with tight stitching as you alluded to.
I learned my lesson on using any of the chenille yarns.Even without washing mine wormed
No matter how I worked this velvet yarn it pulls loops. Total shame, because it's fun to work with.
What yarn are you using
I mean no disrespect, as I ask the following. Is there a different type of heart instead of the bobble one that is made here?
Can you use bernat baby blanket ? Or any yarn ?
cecilia torres That’s my question too!I want to use a regular size 4 yarn.
When you change colors do you have to cut the yarn or can you just add the new color in the stitch before turning
He did say at the beginning of his instructions that you have to cut the yarn because you're going to need that color later at the opposite end of the rows.
I wonder: why couldn’t you just bring up (at least) the grey yarn and work backwards across for the two rows.,,,?.,. Since the stitches are exactly the same on each end. Do you think this would work?

Do you know the multiple count to make a bigger blanket? Thanks! (I love your videos :) )
He said it’s multiple of 6 + 10 more.
Mikey where did you buy that tapestry needle that you are using in this tutorial? 😊
I believe those were given to him and they were purchased from Michael’s Craft Stores
If you wish to find similar online “wool needle” is a good search term.
@@wendylcm7643 😊
I really wish you’d used a different yarn. It’s much harder to see the stitches and follow the tutorial. Also the hearts didn’t really look like hearts
I wish you would have used a yarn we could all see the stitches😂😊
I'm sorry about that.
How do i access the pattern please?
sb anderson video description and pinned comment has the link.
Please subtitule in spanish
Why have you been using this wool for demonstrating it is impossible to see the stitches
@Delilah Gillis It's a UK thing....all yarn is called wool regardless of the fiber it's made with
This yarn makes it very difficult for me to see where the hooks goes. Sorry. I’m not able to follow this.
Mine look nothing like hearts. Your yarn choice makes it hard to follow what stitches you are using. Giving up on this project because my hearts look awful.
Okay, thanks for the update. I'm sorry for my failure of yarn choice to create your terrible outcome. The pattern is available through the video description if that helps you any.
Even if someone wants to use that velvet yarn when they make it, why would you ever use it for a tutorial? Its impossible to see the definition of the stitches or where you place your hook.
It’s impossible to please people on RUclips.
If I don’t use it, people complain. If I do. People complain. It’s a no win situation.
I was super glad to see this yarn being used because there are tons of tutorials using regular yarn, so I was glad to see someone using a more intermediate level yarn for a change!
It was not a complaint. Just an observation about how helpful (actually not) the video was for me because it was so very hard to see distinguishable loops and or spaces.
Not a fan of that yarn...or the tutorial..sorry
Terrible yarn choice for a tutorial.
I’m sorry about that.
@@TheCrochetCrowd I am glad you used this yarn for the tutorial since that is the yarn the pattern calls for, so we could see exactly how it worked up.
Lovely pattern, horrible yarn!
I had to quit watching because he talks so fast.
You can control the speed by tapping on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and choosing playback. Hope this helps!
How do ppl actually learn the pattern from you. When you never do a complete piece
I've learnt lots from Mikey, I'm a visual learner and once I've watched how the stitches are done then I'm ready to follow the rest of the pattern 😊
He did mention at the beginning of the video that this was intermediate level. If you need to learn more basic stuff, he has hundreds of videos for new learners. 😁
Most of them are sample piece or demo piece instead of full size. Either way, works fine.
Mikey has a ton of vidoes at different levels. I have completed a lot of projects with him. Give some of his beginners level or stitch along vidoes a try I bet you will love the results. Happy crocheting :)
If you are a beginner, this may be a bit hard for you, when someone makes a tutorial is usually a small sample , if he chained 180 and work each stitch his videos would be extremely lengthy , so it is more practical to do a sample.
