    I'm definitely going to be making a few baby blankets for the NICUs in hospital. Instead of cutting off your yarn you can carry up your previous color & this way you won't have any ends to weave in. Then once completed do a simple border

    When doing the slip knot, its better to have the working strand slide back and forth rather than the tail. The way youre doing it can come undone if its pulled in the right places. Gorgeous stitch though, definitely going on my to do list :)

    This is so cute! I was wondering why the DC cluster at the beginning you pull through when it has 4 loops but the last one, the other half a heart, you pull through when it has 4 loops?

    Thanks for sharing and it’s absolutely so beautiful for a baby blanket! Just wonder if I wanted to space out the heart rows, would I just add the extra double and single crochet rows in between? Thanks again!❤

  • @lisal9633
    @lisal9633 7 месяцев назад +2

    Well I really wanted to make this tonight. I found the third row extremely confusing. You say to crochet one into every stitch yet there are chain spaces and sometimes you crochet into the space and sometimes into the stitch. Can you please clarify as I just got the most beautiful yarn to make this. Thank you

    • @hey_alexa662
      @hey_alexa662 6 месяцев назад

      You double crochet into every stitch except when you get to the chain 2 spaces, that’s when you go into the space not the stitch. I also want to let you know that your tension has to be even or the hearts on the next heart row won’t line up ❤

    Is there a suggestion for a finishing edge you can put all the way around the blanket when it’s completed?

    • @KeepCalmAndCrochet
      @KeepCalmAndCrochet  3 года назад +3

      I would put 4-5 rounds of single crochet boarder all around. This pattern is quite busy as it is, so it creates a lovely clean finish.

    Is there a written pattern for this ? I’m not sure if the single crochet is the second row to start a new row of hearts

    Lovely stitch thanks, how can we do it in round? I want to make a tote bag for my daughter, is it just a slip stitch into the other colour and start the new round?

      Hi there, it depends on your project…
      You will need 3 times the amount of grey yarn in comparison to red…
