Great vid! Been looking for a way to apply a stipple effect on my designs and have looked into many different ways. Using a path effect on a stroke sounds so logical after this tutorial!
Thank you so much bro! Very helpful. I had the same problem with the intensity so there was too much black space and i had to put it close to the edge of the eye so it didn't have much depth. Very appreciated!
I actually learned this technique of scaling down the objects thanks to you, I usually open the svg file in text editor and change some lines of code 😅
Great Video, can you just tell me how you get the tabs to stack on the right hand side, filter editor, align & distribute with all the others?, which allows for an arrow to expand or minimise, mine just go side by side and make the window wider and wider. Keep the videos coming. 👍👍
Thanks a lot. However can you please make a detailed tutorial on inkscape filter editors. Specifically when the 1.2 beta version has been released. This is a game changer.
you can check this software called 'Enve' its for free & you can do some cool animation: maurycyliebner.github.io/dow/index and here is a tutorial for it: ruclips.net/video/kHnPcEyXr8A/видео.html
I don't know if it has changed for 1.3 but I can't find a way to change the edges of the filter like you did, I don't have those nodes so the filter cuts off harshly at the edge. How did you do that or how do I do that in 1.3 inkscape?
Thank you for this tutorial! But I'm running into a problem: I cannot manipulate the bounding box like you're showing. So a lot of the shapes are cut off wrong. What am I missing?
@@Yacine3Dz I think it's a similar problem to the limit on Intensity and avoidable when working smaller. Which doesn't feel logical in a vector design environment...

Cool! And that resizing after applying the filter is way easier :D

Thank You! Great Tutorial. The filter border is now resized in Inkscape 1.2 using the filter editor. There is a dimension setting.
Вау! Это действительно, то что я искал, мне нужно провести урок в школе на эту тему. Спасибо огромное друг, ты лучший!
Great, thanks for the video :)
Excelente video. ¡Gracias!
Cool, thanks for share!!!
That means Inkscape works great when in scaled down mode.
in this case Yes, when using filters, you can scale it up after finishing and the effect will stay the same.
Thanks a lot. However can you please make a detailed tutorial on inkscape filter editors. Specifically when the 1.2 beta version has been released. This is a game changer.
can you show a video of how to make an animation please? thank you btw for the video luv from Morocca
Unfortunately there are no tools for animation in inkscape, greatings from Algeria 😁🇩🇿🇲🇦

Yup, they changed the UI a bit. In the filter editor panel go to the top right corner, you'll see a gear icon, click it, and change it from there.
Here is a quick video guide, if you can't find it:

@@Yacine3Dz thank you very much, that got me going!
The videos are good, but tell me what substance do you take?
Do you mean what type of content I make ?
@@Yacine3Dz No, I mean, you are so intelligent, food you eat.

Check your inkscape version, make sure it's 1.0 or above
@@Yacine3Dz Well, it's 1.1.2

@@sr.debets I found the issue, it has to do with the UI, I will share with you a video ,one sec.
