Typically, you can do this via mobile app of a video surveillance software. Though for work, your cameras are to be connected to a server that will proceed it. So in such case your cameras are operating on a server part while your phone is a client part that can watch cameras and set their funtioning without taking the load of cameras on itself. Well, as i'm aware in Xeoma your Android phone can perform as a server as well, it can be useful if you don't have a separate server
@@nobleowoseni pretty easy, the algorithm is the same - you download the app, then can request demo license (serial key) and enter ot there. Next, your camera is either added automatically if it is in the same local network with your server (phone in our case) or manually with IP and pw or the stream url. After that, the image from the camera is observed in the app live and in archives. Btw, keepin archives on your phone require enough free space. Alternatively, you may not recording footage
Dear Thamk you for your explantion. i have 6 sites at differnt office branches how to connect centrally on ivms i try it but tthe picture ion TV monitering room is on on and off so what is the solution N.B the NVR IS HIKVISION number of sites =6 software used= hikvisio 4200
Sure you already found this info out seeing no one answered I will, In truth a camera from IP or HD over Coax is going to be limited to how that device was built. So lets say that the IP camera and Coax Camera are both 8mp. Let say that the 8mp Ip camera is a Budget deal and bought it for under 100USD.. In that camera lets say that it has 1/2.8in sensor, with 2.8mm lens and f2.0, Yet the HD over Coax was with a 1/1.8in sensor with 2.8mm lens and a f1.4 then in this case the HD over Coax would be the better camera in both day and night.. The truth is that you can have 2 cameras that are IP 8mp and the quality of 1 over the other could be way superior because of the hardware not because of the BRAND.. Every brand offers High and Low quality cameras...
No not really. You see the NVR they are showing is a POE NVR so in truth they are right with a POE NVR you only need camera, cable and POE NVR.. However where the mis-information comes from in this video is that they say DVR up to 5mp lol this isn't true and seeing this video is over a year old I know they know 8mp is able in a DVR... In some systems even more now.. Also another mis-leading statement is saying that in a NVR setup you can use on a CMS system and that is true, Yet you can do this also in a DVR setup.. So they are just like many others pushing IP Tech over older Proven CVBS and HD OC aka High Definition over Coax.. Kind of a shame that people still today can't tell the Whole truth. A mis-leading statement is a LIE even if it isn't a complete lie..
If you've set up your DVR at home or in your office and you are not physically present, you'll need to make sure you have a Public IP Address assigned to your router so you can connect to your home location from anywhere. Or you'll have to set up VPNs.
@@krieshanparagh3281 Just like any other appliance, it depends on where it's connected. No power, no recording. But you could fix that with an inverter and a battery so it has its backup power supply.
I appreciate the detailed explanation. Thank you!
Good, thanks so much. Sir please, what if I want to be monitoring all the CCTV camera on my phone, how would I do that?
