IK people hate this album but I love it, not just because it is Keith but because I think it is unique and impressive for him at the time. Proud of Keith ‘N this record and I am happy to own it. Keith was a hooge Beach Boys fan. The Who recorded Barbara Ann and Bucket T, among other BB covers. There is a goofy video on youtube of the band recording the vocals for Bucket T, with John Enwistle playing the French Horn. I love this album, The recording sessions were reportedly pretty shambolic as this was the era of Harry Nilsson and John Lennon's 'lost weekend' in LA, where Moon was apparently so soused to the gills all the time that his trusty driver and caretaker, Dugal, finally had to throw in the towel or he knew he was going to die, too.

I bought Two Sides on vinyl in the 8th grade when it was new. At first, I was somewhat disappointed, but liked it still as what seemed like a novel extravagance and an extravagant novelty. Certainly not a cheap affair. I enjoyed this cover and other parts of the album right away, but really grew to appreciate the entire record greatly as time passed. A gem despite not being widely regarded as a fulfilling project. We in the inner sleeve notes: "Moon. A Lune". Much loved gem.

I rarely if ever put a thumbs down on a song that may not be "that good" to me ... I don't know call me an Irish girl who wears her heart on her sleeve ... & NEVER wants to make anyone feel bad... anyway, this was one of the first songs I heard from The Beach Boys way back in early 60's and instantly fell in love with it and continue to love it... but this cover doesn't do the Beach Boys or Keith ANY justice & I mean no disrespect I promise, but in fact I feel embarrassed or sad for Keith trying his heart out so much because he loved the Beach Boys and Brian so much... Hope you're resting in peace Keith... xx
P.S. and I didn't put a thumbs down or up on this song, just a comment...

Great drummer, crap vocalist! Loved his biography though. Cheers Keith.

This guy had some serious mental problems and was obnoxious and an asshole. His stupidity is what killed him. People I knew that acted like him are also dead. Who's wants to hang around someone who is constant drama and never gets serious.
