This is really tempting, after being very impressed by the build quality of the SC-Special which was my first Harley Benton . I love the satin finish!
May I suggest to have a sort of "custom shop" for these guitars? Something very easy, like "please put these pickups on it", "I want CTS pots" or "please do extra checking on the fretboard (not plek)", nothing very complicated, but that can help people that can't move because of COVID-19 or that hasn't a liuther nearby.

I am mostly Fender player so I didn't feel like I wanted to spend a lot of money on Gibson or ESP. So I have decided that I will give a go to the one in Satin Black. I bought it as B-Stock for 160 euros and for the money it is hard to beat. Needs bit sandpaper treatment (binding of body and edges of necxtk) and it will be perfect. Thank you Harley Benton/Thomann.

Been using my custom for my covers and it's served me well. I'm using the first version though. Upper fret access isn't as good but it's good enough.

that paradise flame is in my list for a 2nd guitar for Eb tuning... i love that its matte finish. Doesn't look cheap either.

i have three harley benton guitars Te 52, JB 75, and an acoustic custom line Cld 41 SE WN all three guitars are great and worth every penny, there are a couple more favorites I would love to have in my collection🎸🤟👍

I received my first custom sc 2 Amber flame after 20 years of not playing anymore, I find it excellent with a phenomenal quality / price ratio. Great job Harley Benton.
How would you compare it to a more expensive Epiphone for instance? Where is the difference in price noticeable?
@@gammanickify Hi Nicola, honestly I find the sc custom 2 more of a rival to the esp, if you are looking for a real comparison then I would go with the sc 550 v2. I can tell you my impressions about my sc custom 2, decent woods, decent finishes, tuners and bridge that keep the tuning well over time, well made fretboard even if a little dry, honest pickups, in short, a guitar that already of satisfaction and that in my opinion with a pair of Seymour Duncan would have an edge. If I had to choose between epiphone and harley benton, I'd go for the harley benton 550 v2, in my opinion the value for money construction is favorable, I've seen too many epiphones, even expensive ones, with serious paint defects on the keys and electronics.

Satin finishes look more premium than thick gloss ones.

Hey ! I just wanted to know if there was gonna be any new 7-8 strings guitare (or even 9 !) Coming soon, in my opinion the 7 strings baritone just looks amazing and is really good, but its baritone, and it would be really cool to see an 8 strings with that design.
Anyway, im looking to buy the vintage les paul.

What gear did you use when recording the blue sc custom?!?! It reminded me a lot to the sound of stone temple pilots which is exactly what I've been after lately

Is that a slim body? Doesn’t look as thick as a LP. Which is what I’ve been looking for!!!!
Is the wiring traditional or PCB? If I want to swap pickups, I don't want to rewire. I bought an Epiphone SG Muse and ended up doing a pickup swap and a complete rewire. It sounds great, but by the time I did the work and got the parts, I could have just bought a used Gibson SG and been good to go.

Might it be the lack of a neck cutaway on my current guitar that has hindered my "diddley-diddley-diddley!" and produced more of a "didley-duckely-duckely-ducki-pluck!" sound?

its color is more brown or ginger? On thomann it looks more red.
It's between the two, definitely a warm tone. The variation across the burst makes it difficult to pin down to a particular shade, though.

Real wood, but a very thin layer.
Alright, I have a weird question. I REALLY want one of these SC guitars, BUT one of the things that I really hate about Gibson guitars is the ridiculous neck/headstock angle that leads to low tuning stability, and it's also awkward for me to play. Do Harley Benton guitars address this, or is it the same as a Gibson? I know, it's a specification that no one really acknowledges and I'm sorry. This guitar looks like it has a more staight-on angle than the SC-550 but it's hard to tell.
