Ha! I was so busy watching JumboTron Jimmy, that I totally did not see him hanging around on the stage. When the lights came on him, I nearly lost my mind. I think you can hear me screaming--I think I was near where the video was being taken. :):):) Made being there totally worthwhile.
I was in attendance. Page hadn't been named as a guest performer, but when the crowd realized he was about to play, everyone let out a gasp, and they all stood up, as did i.
We were lucky enough to see him outside, arriving for rehearsal on Thursday. It was just event staff, his handler, and my girlfriend and I. Awesome moment. I had this scenario pegged pretty quickly.
A judge uses verbal phrasing and a gavel to force all to rise, yet Page only needs to phrase through his guitar to earn voluntary respect and recognition from the masses......now that's an honorable figure above all the rest.
i can't even image seeing Jimmy Page walk out on stage..to play. OMG. Like when he did the 1983 ARMS charity concerts, walking out on stage solo post Zeppelin, the sound of the crowd errupting in a standing ovation with pure joy and happiness, some in tears, just to see him was other wordly.
Link Ray didn't need this bullshit induction into the rock and roll Hall of Fame to get recognition. All this organization does is sell tickets and ride on the coattails of genius and then pat themselves on the back and party all night. Big deal.

As someone older than your father who first saw Led Zeppelin at the age of 13, I am thrilled that you and your dad have this in common. A lot of people talk about how Led Zeppelin was so heavy, so loud, but there is a ton of their music that is so joyful. The Song Remains the Same, The Ocean, Custard Pie, Down By the Seaside and so many more. I hope you find the tunes that work the best for you when you're having a bad day or a scary episode (my former brother-in-law is bipolar so I have a little experience with what he goes thru). Most of all I just hope you enjoy the music and I'm really thrilled that you found something that speaks to you. The first time I saw Led Zeppelin live it changed my life. Omg omg omg!
Jimmy are you back ?
❤ want more jimmy
Thank you for this. I have 2 dvds of "It Might Get Loud" with Jimmy Page, and I have the cd of Link Wray.
Jimmy lights up when he's listening to Mr.Wray.
SO COOL! Been a Link Wray fan for decades and FINALLY he gets due recognition!
just love Jimmy. great tribute🥰
Rare sighting of the elusive Pagey in the wild... Meanwhile, we are reminded that the Rock Hall ought to have inducted Link Wray thirtysome years ago, had it been worth a damn.
They've been too busy inducting non-rock musicians in the RHINO - Rock Hall in Name Only. 🙀😖😡🤷♂️🤷♀️🤷
The drummer is Anton Fig, who played with Wray in the 1980s.
Tears. There goes my hero. May he live forever.
THIS! 🥰🥰❤
Everybody just stood up immediately??!! Wow!!!! Respect!!!
"It might get loud" is a great little documentary. See it just to see Jimmy getting excited about hearing "The Rumble" again.
about time. shoulda been one of the first
I concur…more Jimmy
I love it Jimmy is simply the best ❤
i wish he'd come out with an instrumental album always wanted that
Death Wish soundtrack, I think he already did
Anton Fig on drums...crushing it!!
3:11 The moment the crowd realizes The Jimmy Page isn't just a recording on a screen, but is there, live, on stage, armed with his double neck
Link Wray was one cool dude
❤❤❤ DAD AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED WATCHING JIMMY AND OTHER DOC DVDS TOGETHER. TREASURED FOR EVER. KUDOS TO ALL GUITARISTS IN OUR LIVES 💜
Great camera work!!

It is great to see Jimmy Page on stage playing guitar performing in front of people
So glad I got to see Led Zeppelin in 77 when I was 7 . I`m pushing 2,000 concerts in my life and to this day it`s one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen..
STILL THE GOAT !!!!!!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Fantastic in every single way
brings tears to my eyes, this man means so much to many of us
Yes, he DOES. I even named my firstborn Son after Mr. Page!! ❤
