Oh my god this video is perfect. The same riff four times so I can hear both knobs and both guitars compared to each other. Oh my god it’s perfect thank you!
I have the first Sc Custom in name and frankly I still love the sound of Roswell pickups!
I can’t get over how FUCKING AMAZING that first riff is!!!!!
It should be developed into a song of its own...
Glad to own one of these. I have the Vintage Black version by the way :) Love it
I've got all kinds of guitars. I love them all. My HB SC custom II has now three plus years. It's my Swiss army axe, I can jazz I can shred. I can do acoustic. I love it
very fine playing. I can really hear how the guitar sounds.
Nice demo, thank u🇫🇷🍒👍🏼
I bought the Honey Flame version out of curiosity and to have a guitar I could “mod”. I have had it for over two months. I have not modded anything because it sounds great. Played for 40 years, have several PRS and Fender guitars. This isn’t one of those, but very, very close. I will buy another.
I agree. Got mine yesterday.
cool demo! the passive one sounds better to me.
Excellent
They sound different for sure, but both sound good. The passive (sun burst) has a bit more mid range and a little fatter tone. The active is a bit thinner and has more high end treble that fit the style of music it's meant to be used with. IMO anyway.
Very Cool
the passive one sounds much better
Fantastico ❤
say what u want ... these r some great sounding guitars ...
The passive is far better for me
Спасибо за обзор
How does it compare to the sc 550?
Ich finde die mit den passiven Pickups klingt meistens besser!
The only difference I really noticed was in output levels, tbh.
This is the riff from Zappa's Hot Rats/Willy the Pimp. Just enough to avoid a copyright strike.
What is weight of custom II
the vbk without the maple top is about 3.2kg its surprisingly light and has a thin body compared to a normal single cut.
Owned the sc custom just before they released the sc custom ii - only difference is the coil tap feature which 99% of guitarists will rarely use.
I’ll stick with my ESP Eclipse with Seymour Duncan Custom 5 and JB pickups...
The price difference is huge though. But the HB´s Roswell LAF pickups are crap and are an additional cost to replace, something to keep in mind.
@@M.S-Music yeah agreed the roswells are naff if you are an experienced guitarist and familiar with high quality hardware but the Roswells are ideal if you are beginner guitarist or just want a cheap project guitar.
@@fredriksvard2603 it really is, neck and bridge is all you need without splitting
Good. You do that, k?
@@birkypuffs8253 triggered bruh?
Sounds like "Willie the Pimp" by Frank Zappa. ruclips.net/video/UCBj8hqqiJU/видео.html
I have the passive SC its an ok guitar if you get a good unit, but the Roswell pickups are rubbish, really weak, muddy and microphonic, as comparation i have a stock Yamaha Pacifica 311H and it sounds miles better, clearer and punchier and above all really well built. Harley bentons are OK and cheap modding platforms if you can set them up yourself and know how to change pickups, pots, electronics... If you are looking for a good guitar to play straight out of the box HB´s might not be the best option.
I disagree. I have HH model and i love these active pickups. And it's great guitar straight out of the box.
@@MegaAndyGG I´m happy for you, but active & passive pickups are two different things.. Anyway, i no longer have the HB SC, it got replaced with a secondhand ESP LTD EC-1000 with SD passive 59/JB pickups and the difference in sound and quality is like night and day.
@@M.S-Music Yeah. I know that lol. Those actives are great for metal, but i prefer passives for everything else. And i have to disagree again. JB is great pickup, but the difference is so very small, let's be real. The difference is there of course, but it's small. People who don’t understand they don't know any difference. And that's a fact. But of course we know the difference. But still, it's not night and day lmfao.
@@MegaAndyGG I rest my case...
@@M.S-Music Yes, and you are still wrong lol.
