Each Phoenix Lord, in emulation of their teacher Asurman, took upon themselves the aspect of one of the mighty beasts of Eldar legend: the falcon, the scorpion, the spider, the...rocket launcher skeleton. Dammit Maugan Ra!
The Phoenix Lords and their Aspect Warriors are the entire reason why I started playing Eldar, I love the idea of having an army made up of specialists that can cover each other's weaknesses. The somewhat more armored melee unit with slightly longer ballistic range that can sometimes avoid a counter charge. The angry female melee unit. The more armored and yet sneaky melee unit. Then you have two flavors of resilient "undead" melee units. Psychic melee units. An oversized anti tank melee unit of fire. An oversized undead melee unit... The vehicles and support weapon batteries are interesting though and at least behave differently from several other armies. Rest of the army just tends to either just die due to close range, run off the table, or manage to get stuck in combat with something that isn't specialized in doing so.
Once had a Vindicare Assassin that had been a pain in the ass for the Biel-Tan eldar for the most part of the campaign I was running, usually ambushing the Eldar with a Vibro Knife in one hand and his Exitus Pistol in the other. He finally met his fate after I once managed to take out Maugan Ra with a well placed sniper shot from a Vindicare assassins Exitus Rifle. He was fried by a Psi Storm casted by a vengeful Warlock.
The path of the eldar and path of the dark eldar books are good. But they are out of print i think. So you need kindle or something similar to read them.

So how are there drukari fighting pits in the Eye? 3. if they are then how are the Drukari alive and not a meal for Slanaash? Second line of questioning Azur.. (something) 1. Isnt drukari the most alike the Old Elder before the fall? 2. how then could what they where doing be that outputting to Azur... third line of questioning the Girl 1. woudnt the child just be an other drukari that survived trough suffering? 2. is it then possible to for a Aeldari to become Drukari the lore seams so waky in this story or is it just my lack of knowledge.
First line 1. Not every homeworld was eaten they were a galaxy spanning empire and there are many maiden worlds and several eldar fled into the webway which is protected against the warp Second line 4. yes 5. It was a major decline and certain groups were already maintaining the "old ways" craftworlders and exodites are outliers (think of them like the amish in our society) not everyone was a murder r*pist Third line 6. Dark eldar can become craftworlders by accepting the infinity circuit if my memory serves me correctly 7. they can leave you're just cut off from the infinity circuit
For the first line of questioning, you can check the Dark Eldar videos from Arch. Basically, they built a complete city somewhere in the webways. Not really in the warp, nor in real space. They stay alive by nourishing their souls through the pain, pleasure and suffering given to other. As soon as they stop nourishing their souls and perish, their soul is taken by Slaneesh. The second line. Drukaris are the old Eldars, yes. Or more like the old eldars who fell into complete decadence and hedonism. Craftworlds Eldar were traders, travelers, etc. They were isolated to some extent from all the degeneracy that happened to their society. So, Drukaris are like Romans before the fall of the Roman empire, while Craftworld Eldars are closer to being the Romans at the peak or before the decline of the Roman empire. Same people, different culture.
Honestly, most of these questions are covered pretty well detailed and covered in the lore. Below is just a summary: 1. The Eldar homeworlds were not sucked into the Eye of Terror, that area of space literally transformed into the Eye of Terror itself. When the Eye was first formed it was not as corrupted as it was today, many Eldar continued to live post-apocalyptic lives on these homeworlds for a few years (with some mental repercussions). There was even a Craftworld called Altansar that existed in the Eye of Terror for nearly 10,000 years before being rescued. Obviously over time the Eye would become more warped and twisted. 2. See above^ Eldar still lived in the eye and there were fighting pits on both the homeworlds and in the webway, which is protected from the warp. 3. Again, the Drukhari live in the webway, which is (mostly) protected from the warp. Slannesh still slowly consumes the Drukhari souls over time but they replenish them by essentially stealing the souls of others. 1. Sort of... The Drukhari were already descending into more extreme forms of hedonism then the rest of the empire. In many ways they are the most similar to the final years of the old empire but their lack of psychic ability is a big point of differentiation. 2. Not sure what your question here is about Asurmen. But basically after the fall of the Aeldari empire, the Eldar split into various factions as they all had different ideas about how to live life after the birth of Slannesh: Drukhari (Hedonistic Eldar), Craftworld Eldar (Regular Eldar), Exodites (Amish Eldar), Corsairs (Pirate Eldar), Harlequins (Clown Eldar). The Phoenix Lords found that the Craftworld Eldar were most receptive to their teachings. 1. At this point the whole empire has degenerated, so she was basically just a regular eldar trying to survive any way she could. 2. Yes, Craftworld Eldar often get tired of the rigidity of life on their void ships and most become Corsairs, however some decide to go to the Drukhari (like Yvraine)

third line of questioning the Girl
1. woudnt the child just be an other drukari that survived trough suffering?
2. is it then possible to for a Aeldari to become Drukari
the lore seams so waky in this story or is it just my lack of knowledge.
First line
1. Not every homeworld was eaten they were a galaxy spanning empire and there are many maiden worlds and several eldar fled into the webway which is protected against the warp
Second line
4. yes
5. It was a major decline and certain groups were already maintaining the "old ways" craftworlders and exodites are outliers (think of them like the amish in our society) not everyone was a murder r*pist
Third line
6. Dark eldar can become craftworlders by accepting the infinity circuit if my memory serves me correctly

2. Yes, Craftworld Eldar often get tired of the rigidity of life on their void ships and most become Corsairs, however some decide to go to the Drukhari (like Yvraine)
I guess the Imperium didn't figure out they should kill them and keep their armor under lock, uh ?

Hey arch, I try to listen to your videos either at work or later at night and the background music is distracting sometimes when I’m trying to listen to you speak. I know it’s in All your videos but I was wondering if you could lower it 25% - 50% thanks mate
Go go power rangers, but grimdark.
nice to see the eldar getting more love but karandras is the second phoenix lord of the striking scorpion after the fallen phoenix karandras's master Arhra
sorry but i gota say... the sponsor... the way those kind of games pukes add's eveywhere ,fine.. but the way their add's makes them look like ''THIS IS STRAAAATEGY!'' ...pisses me of these days because sorry ,yes that is combat strategy.. COMBAT one.... is not tactical scale strategy ,sure it can be flashy and cute but well... idiotic big publishers trying to make everything into that is why they mutilated the rts genre a few years back causing the 'death' of some famoused ip's that cost them a lot to buy and have more or lees declared it dead despite stuff like supcom 1 , factorio and various indie studios showing just like with when the big guys said ''single player rpgs is dead'' ...there still is one fk of a market for larger scale rts or rts hybrids grrr...

Phoenix and Aspect Warriors are really cool. Shame they aren't Primarch's so don't seem to get much love outside of being stomped by the new big bad/big dam hero.
Come on, Arch. The Phoenix Lords are multiple lords. The Phoenix Lord's is an incomplete sentence. Lord's what?
Me: Buys RUclips premium to have no ads!
Raid shadow legends: Not so fast city boy.
The Raids shilling sure takes a long time, each time. And why must that repetitive music be played? Can't the marketers give out music with longer playtime?
Doesn't help that Arch talks so slow he doubles the length of the ad.
Lose the Lords apostrophe Arch, it’s just a plural
Remember the days when the first 3 minutes of an Arch lore video wasn't an ad for a shitty mobile game that everybody on the internet is sick of seeing ads for? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Seriously Arch, each new video now I have to check and see if the ad for Raid Shitty legends is there and skip past it. That's what your videos have trained me to do now.
A comment and like for the eldarithm.
Head honcho Eldar
one day Arch will learn how to properly use posessives in English
Is It True That You Can Produce A Patronus Charm?
The soul stones could be mounted into a new master-crafted set of armor of the correct specifications and a destroyed set of phoenix lord armor could be mended in that way.
As time moves on, Arch adopts the them/they pornnouns 🤣
The video is good though, thanks!
