I would like that, except I'm worried the whole "daemon" theory will get thrown around. I'm so tired of this garbage theory that the Imperial Saints are really just daemons working for the Emperor.
@@ridderjaim3 They're Imperial Saints. Why would they also fall into another category? As creatures of Order, they're clearly not daemons, which come from Chaos. If anything, they're anti-daemons.
This actually brings up an interesting theological topic. Strictly speaking a daemon is primarily a description of a spiritual beings moral alliance specifically whether they are in right relationship with God therefore an angel or have rebelled and worship themselves therefore daemon. See the vision which describes the fall as God showing the spirits a revelation of the virgin Mary as being served by Angels to which the devil stated "I will not serve" as Mary was ontologically lower than him and Michael rebutting "who is like God" from which he gets his name. I do dislike that we have a good definition for a god as by the dictionary definition pychers would be gods as its simply any worshipped being with supernatural powers. The best definition would be the entity or entities highest in the ontological hierarchy. So at least in 40k if that is the emperor then the imperial saints would be Angels sustained by the emperor. Personally as a Catholic I have trouble wrapping my head around the concept of a contingent god.
@@scurvydog20 40k is not a Catholic universe. Obviously in Catholicism (I'm one too) there is only one God, and the Chaos gods do not resemble Him; not even the Emperor does. That said, under a Catholic interpretation, the Imperial Saints would actually just be saints, not angels. A human cannot become an angel. A human can become a saint. Saints have been spotted after their deaths and miracles are attributed to them. While the Virgin Mary is by far the most common sighting, we can remember that Moses and Elijah were seen at Jesus' transfiguration. The term "Imperial Saint" even makes it pretty clear that saints were the inspiration.
I hope they don't give the sisters attention can you imagine Primaris super Sister's of battle ? Great Vid Arch nice to see a true spot light on the Sisters

Cain had sisters best. They're just a blunt force that you point in a vague direction and yell heretic. Will they do the job? Maybe. But at least they serve as a distraction
Achtually Arch, I think dual flamethrower pistols IS a perfectly reasonable option for Seraphims ! Why ? Power armor. Sure, Prometheum might be so flammable as to actually threaten an air-sealed armored suit, but once the target is on fire proper, this is just classic fire of flesh and material interacting with air... even if the heretic throw themselves and grapple the Sister to spread the flames to her, she can just shrug that off until they let go (or are made to let go) ! On the other hand, for as effective and terrifying a weapon that the various iterations of flamethowers are, the main issue has always been and will always be to get it close enough to the enemy to open up; whilst you can be certain that ANY enemy with two working braincells will prioritize the shit out of you as soon as they know what's up ! And on that regard, jetpack nuns diving in to turn the place into hell on hearth and flying out in a matter of 30-odd seconds seems like as optimal a solution as we might ever get !.. Being assault troops, this seems like a match made in Heaven for the seraphims (couldn't help it).
