+More Cowbell Yeah, huge guys running all-out tackling with their helmet aimed at another guy's neck. Such a pity that this sort of thing's being come down on now. Learn how to fucking tackle without using your head or aiming at another guy's head. It's not hard. And the game would be just as tough.
getting hit by john lynch would be like getting hit by freight train at speed, nobody so many players took were messed up after many seasons in the NFL
+Michael Jenkins What's wrong with that? The league has been pussified and that's a fact. All these shit about CTE, man it's like saying everyone who's ever been in the league have it. Why don't they just ban boxing and MMA? Guys are paid millions of cash to HIT you and they did that...about 15 years ago. Today it's a mix of CFL and flag football. Passer ratings and passing yards receiving yards have become so inflated 20 years from now people are gonna say Joe Montana and Johnny Unitas are overrated judging from their stats. It's a damn shame.
@@bloodorange6713 fr I don’t get why players are so worried about injuring the other players with hits…it’s a fucking contact sport you’re supposed to dominate your opponent and when you think about hurting him the entire game you’re hindering your own ability
@@CornellBillingsWorth there is a difference between hurt and injured. You can play through hurt but not injuries. Yes deliver as much pain as possible, on defense my goal was to hit them so hard they never want to pick up a ball again. But never would I want to injure another player, even against big rivals who I hated (like actually hated lmao). They worked hard all year to strap it up too, its a shame anytime an athlete gets injured in competition.

Im a Pats fan and I struggle between Lynch/Bruschi favorite defensive player of all time. my personal favorite, not THE best player of all time. im not getting into that. Two phenomenal football players, with intensity that few can understand, dogs!
John Lynch knocked his brother-in-law out cold and gave zero fucks, while Marshawn Lynch fought off his own teammates to defend his cousin, who was on the opposing team. Let me say again, he fought his own teammates to defend an opposing player. John Lynch was a great football player. Marshawn Lynch is a chump who just happens to be good at football. Keep family matters off the field. When you step on that football field, your teammates are your family.
So simple. Just runs full speed face-first into people. Most humans cannot bring themselves to do that, His namesake Marshawn does that on offence., not sure if they re related? 🏈😉

What a lazy NFL film... no one thinks of Lynch with the Broncos yet they had more Broncos footage in there than they did Bucs footage, probably because the 19 year old intern they're paying zero dollars to only knows Lynch from the last 2 years.
If Lynch played today, he would be thrown from every single game he played in. Lol I loved watching him.
Swear him and a few others like Sean Taylor
Can't even watch football these days. Can't even tackle anyone these days! BORING..... 😴💤
Savage knocked his bro in law out
And didn't give half a fuck that he left him snoring on the field.
@@seanroberts2641 John Lynch: that’s for if you cheat on my sister

What sucks is that a guy like Lynch wouldn't be able to play in todays pussified game

Hardest hitter I ever saw play and was a key reason why the defense was so feared, hope he makes the hall one day.

Back when football was football
Too bad John Lynch would be considered a "dirty player" today. I loved watching him play. One of the last gladiators of football.
Him and Steve Atwater
Sean Taylor
who cares Bruce Jenner was a man back in these days...lol
Back when men were men.
"Hello Jon how are you?"
Lynch is nut! I remember watching an episode of Mic'd up...he hit someone, pushed him, and said, "Sit down, punk!". Lol!
I remember a Monday night game vs NY Giants hitting Mark Bavaro and played the whole game with 2 sprained knees. Ronnie Lott was a beast #42
Welcome to S.F.
Not as fast as Ronnie Lott but every inch the commitment Lott had. Great player.
Bigger than Lott though
Lynch is 6'2" 220. Lott is small compared to him
Yeah ask Randy moss how hard John Lynch a.k.a.lynch mob hits.every dropped ball from Randy was because of lynch
TRUEEEE he finished his career just in time
Dare I say it...
He Lynched him.
Lord Sesshomaru 🤣🤣🤣
90% of his hits are leading with helmet and some of that is to opponents helmet but my favorite safety next to sean taylor
99%

nah they do they just get shunned.. like mark barron. dude was the next tatum

Pretty funny that that was the hardest Barry Sanders ever got hit. I'm sure it was hard but nothing like Lynch's other tackles
Yea. The problem with Barry was you couldn't drop your shoulders on him otherwise you were gonna be 10 yards off.

John Lynch hits Faulk
He also a good GM
Now players do heart hands and need a moment if they hit someone too hard
I wish Travis Kelsey had to play against him ✊️
He had 3 of the 5 largest fines for a hit in the including the largest until vontez hit on ab.
Won't be surprised at all if Lynch ends up with CTE. Led with his helmet entirely too much.
