      Where's Darren Sharper and his 63 career int's compared to Lynch's 26 or his 123 PD's compared to Lynch's 68? That's one of the highest int totals in the history of the league...why isn't Sharper in the HoF and Lynch is? LeRoy Butler 97.7, Ronde Barber, 85.3, Lester Hayes 85.0 all deserve more consideration for induction into the HoF rather than the campaign of 2020 for Lynch. Rigged system much?

      @@abbenormal9665 Darren not getting in has nothing to do with Lunch. We all know why he's not in. The NFL is holding his conviction against him so that's why he hasn't and probably will never get in.

      Chiefs are a different animal and they were playing more cover 3 than 2. But you can’t play cover 2 consistently in this league anymore like they did anymore - even Bowles is dialing up crazy blitzes most games. Chiefs though were always vulnerable when you prevent the big play since their oline was trash all year.

    3:42 is exactly what some teams are missing in today's game.. Ravens have that bond and that trust 99 is talking about but there aren't many guys built like that anymore for a team to rally around.
    Also, lunch not being in the hall, yet, after SEVEN years is a boldly disrespectful and needs to be done. You have a HoFer sitting there saying it needs to be done. Yes, he's biased, but he also got to see Lynch work day in and day out, be a good father, watch him take part in Warren community, which we know how 99 feels about community, and that obviously went a long way with 99. All that's factored in.
    At the end of the day all y'all need to know is that Lynch "is that hard hittin white boy, who play safety"...

When he was little I shared a story about John who was using his artwork I think to support his community- pretty sure through his foundation. It was so long ago, but I was trying to inspire my son to always use his gifts and talents. The Bucs had a truly special group and Tony Dungy I admired as their Coach. He seemed calm under pressure and carried himself with pure class. Sapp, Warrick Dunn, Gramatica...Ronde Barber and that list is long with a GREAT captain. Special team to watch- for sure.

    John Lynch doesn't deserve to be in the hall of fame until Ronde Barber and Simeon Rice goes in first; no way he should go in before them.

    Isn't Warren Sapp the same one who said Strahan didn't deserve to be in the HOF? If Strahan didn't deserve it, Lynch doesn't

    Pretty sure Derwin James is a better physical specimen at safety than those guys back in the day... Also Jamaal Adams... Old Heads always think they were so much better and it was so much harder back in the day.

      Different era bro but i do agree that its harder to play defense in this era than that one because all the rules cater to the offense!

    Not before Leroy Butler. Butlers stats are better. Lynch was the 3rd best player on that D. Butler was consistently schemed against and yet his D had Reggie white on it. Butler was the first 20/20 player (20 int 20 sacks) he changed the safety position. It’s absolute horseshit he hasn’t gotten In already

    • @justingardner4658
      @justingardner4658 4 года назад

      I respect your argument. You could argue he was the 4th best player, but I say tied for 3rd with Ronde Barber. Ronde is the only 45/25 guy in NFL history !! He’s the last CB to have 10 INTs - been 20 YEARS and no one has matched that. He also has 1,000 tackles and more defensive TDs than any player in NFL history. He also ... only is the Cal Ripken of the NFL with consecutive games played for a 5’10” CB!!
      That said Mel Blount is still in the HOF and could have been the 6th best Pitt defender. So it’s not crazy for 3,4 guys from one of the top 5 defenses in football history.

      Except he isn’t on the ballot yet. So the point is kinda moot. However it does show that lynch has no business being in line before butler tho
