Hello, I'm looking for 3 miniature cars that I had as a child, which I think were from Hot Wheels, I'll describe them: 1 - A white "monster" style car with a skull using the United States flag as a bandana in the paint. 2 - A very simple green vintage style car. 3 - A red car with yellowed windows (this is the one I have the least memories of).
I have a hard time finding these as I am not in the USA anymore- thanks for the tips but I doubt it will be outside of the USA - the challenge is these cars are each starting at $3.00 so tripple the cost
Just watched your video and went to the dollar store and found a 98 Subaru Impreza 22B - STI version. Nice information now I know what to kind of look for. Now I got a look over my 800 other ones I’ve already gotten in the last years
Hi Shawn, Thank you for your informative video. I just have a quick question. I just started collecting and I bought the exact same low rider treasure hunt that's in your video. The one thing I noticed is the rivets that hold the car together are missing. Would that add or subtract from the value of the car? Thanks, Terry
Hi Shawn. Great video. Do all the Treasure Hunts say congratulations on them? Or do some just have a logo flame behind the car? Keep these great videos coming.
The international cards will just have the grey flame logo. The US cards will have the congratulations on it. The supers always have a gold flame on the card. I hope that helps and happy hunting!
I have a question about Hot Wheels? I noticed that there are Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts that have two flames (doubleflame 🔥🔥) on the car and others with just one flame. It depends on where the flames are located. Models with only one flame usually have it at the back or on top of the roof. I noticed that the models with two flames are somehow much rarer from Hot Wheels than the ones with just one flame (With two flame, is not the same!???). For example the 58 Impala or 47 Chevy Fleetline, these have the flame on the left and right (i.e. two). I haven't looked at the TH yet. I'm surprised no collector has thought or talked about it yet. It should actually be similar with the TH on the Super T.? Please take a look at your Hot Wheels. What does it look like there?..Checked again, the ones with a flame might be rarer?
i have a question?? can it be made any car model? or are there are specific types of cars that they make (some reg and some treasure). or some line of cars don’t have any type of treasure.
Shawn you said only low Production runs have the flame inside the Circle I have a couple Dodge vans that have that emblem on them but it doesn't say anything about a treasure hunt.
