Well hopefully after watching this video everyone from new to veteran hunters can be up on their knowledge of spotting a $TH.🔥 You guys are awesome, let's keep hunting and let me know what you find 👀
Thanks mate, Hope it helps some of the newer collectors to not miss their first super! 🙌 Btw I keep seeing your car popping up in HW Facebook groups here and there, looks amazing lots of people lovin it!🚗
@@TheWheelCollector huge thanks! I'm actually going to remove the livery. It's getting stains that won't come off, so it's been giving me head pains from it all lol
Yes yes been waiting for a new video !! I think this is a good video for people just getting into the hobby/beginners. I have the same hot wheels bag from b&m lol ☺️
It's a legendary bag, all Hot Wheels Collectors must have one at least 😂 yeah I wanted to make it as simple as possible for beginners hunting $TH I have a few other ideas like this but have some hunting videos to put out at the weekend hopefully 🙌 thanks for watching as always mate
Yes! And I read the first ever line of HW cars back in 1968 to 1972 were also spectraflame till the use of lead paint was banned from manufacturing. And the now spectraflame is not made the same but similar in the way it looks. Some really cool history to some exceptional looking paint 🎨🔥
ok so back in the early 90's my Mother sent away for some Limited Edition Nascar Kellogg's truck trailer and cars set, got it and it came with the wrong lettering/numbers on a sticker kit that you put on yourself, welll its all still in the boxes untouched. how can I identify them if they have collectable value?
I took some hw sites at their word for this one should have done a little more research on as I see you are correct mate 🙌 Man that would suck to get a case with no $TH or RTH 😔
@@TheWheelCollector it's fine dude don't worry about it, I meant the symbols like the graphics for each collection, they usually say 1 out of 5 or whatever, I presumed that was just the particular vehicles in that collection, on the front right of the card
@@masoncrisp You are right! The symbol is the image for the set and the numbers are what car it is within that set, if you follow this link you can download the poster from Mattel's official forums it shows you all the sets from the start of this year: community.creations.mattel.com/files/file/2648-2024-hot-wheels-mainline-wave-1-poster/
@@TheWheelCollector brilliant, cheers, making my way through all your videos now. Nearly at the newest one. Keep up the good work. Let's get them supers!!
Just sent my wife off to the biggest b and m in my area and made her facetime me to hunt. Pegs are rammed with Japanese long carded hotwheels but can't tell which case they are. Think it's a fairly new case. Might be worth a look my friend. Btw I messaged you on insta ages ago hoping to chat about hw loads more! Take care
Regular t-hunts DON'T come in every single case, that's false dude. The regs are more frequent than Supers but they aren't in every case. I been collecting for over 2 decades. I know this.
Hey mate, you are 100% correct (I made this video pretty early on in my journey of collecting hot wheels and I did not know this at the time) I did reply to another comment saying the same thing last year but didn't know how I could fix without a reupload. But today and with your comment prompt I have been able to cut the part that says 'in every case' 🙌 should show on the video within 24 hours. Thanks Metatron!
What exactly do you mean by this? I thought it was explained at the start of the video that there are non symbol ones to which he calls mainline ones, now I'm confused?
@@Michael-nr9di What do you mean "non-symbol ones"? Are you talking about regular t hunts? Reg t-hunts always come with the greyish coloured circle flame on the blister pack. It's hidden by the car, so only the true fans and collectors know where to look. The $uper T-Hunts are always gold coloured circle flame logos hidden in the same spot. I hope this helps. Happy Huntin' 👍😊
@@Michael-nr9diHe talk about regular treasure hunts, not super treasure hunts or Mainlines... regular th also have the mark but I think silver, not gold. There was a misconception that regular th come one in every case but apparently it isn't so. Supers are even more rare.
@@monsteryuu9444 thanks for your reply, I did not know what he ment by 'case' is why I was confused to the statement, at first I thought the case was in reference to the packaging is why I was confused thankyou.

Found my first one today. In a box that looked like it had already been searched through. 18 Camaro' ss. Picked up a transformer track fleet as well 🔥
Great list for the newest collector

Thanks so much for the info mate. Fantastic for newbie like me 👍👍
You're very welcome! Glad to help and appreciate the comment 🙌
Very well explained! Thank You! Just went through my sons cars that are opened and thankfully none of them are rare 😅
Thanks for watching mate! I did the same thing with my sons and he had a couple of really nice treasure hunts no supers though
😅
Wow.... Great journey

Spectraflame paint was also used on redlines not only soups and redline club cars

Great video! ❤
Thankyou 🙌
Cool video man. We all search for those pesky Supers ... :))
Thankyou! And YES we do! :)
Well put
Thanks mate appreciate the comment 🎉🙌
I haven't collected Hot Wheels since I was a kid. And now that I have this knowledge, I wanna hunt at least one gold label in my area just because!😂

Dzięki za objaśnienia. Nie spodziewałem się aż takich różnic . Naprawdę świetny film 👍

I'd love to start collecting myself but I need to know what all the symbols on the blister packs mean, perhaps you can help me?
It is a great hobby to start in mate what symbols are we talking about I will try to help 👍
(Sorry for the late reply Masoncrisp)

Well sh*t another thing to collect. I’m obsessed already.
Exactly my thoughts at the start of all this 😅
Well explained now my Wife is also looking for TH cars while buying regulars for my Son.
Thanks
Bro love your vids but where can I get the short protectors here in southern Italy is hard to find them 🙄
Actually, like MANY things, it's only worth someone else is willing to pay for it.
Very true Mike! People go crazy for some supers and not so much for others. That golden Civic from last year is still selling today for around $150.
❤❤❤ spectacular!!!
Thanks to this video
Ive got finally the Mitsubishi pajero evolution sth in a local store, what a lucky day
Congratz mate thats a great one! 🥳🎉
I've searched for these throughout shop,s but i've had no luck. After all, they are rare.
Great video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for sharing. New friend here 🙋🏻♂️🇲🇾
Thanks mate! and welcome to the community
First bro
🥇
there is not a th in every case
❤nice 🎉

The regular treasure hunts from 2007 up were the supers. The new regular treasure hunts are garbage.

a car is only worth 40.00 if somebody is stupid enough to buy it.
So basically.. its marketing tactics like colored symbols that made people believe they are more important?
