I mean, it's a short ride, while Shivering Timbers is quite long and the water park is so fun you can spend 4 hours there and lose track of time. Wildcat should get RMC'd.
My only problem with SLCs, and most shoulder restraints really, is that I'm way too tall and have to arch my back to fit. I end up wedged in there pretty well with some bruised shoulders after a long day at a big park but thats it.
I live near GL. The sound of the top of the lift hill is burned into my brain, a nostalgic trigger to the glory days of that park. Miss Serial Thriller so much.
I have been hurt on here, but this is my favourite ride. My grandma takes my siblings and I there every year, and even she likes that ride (she's 75). My cousins sometimes come with us, and they love this too!
I remember riding this during my senior trip! I don’t remember it being a bad ride minus loosing an earring. That’s really the only complaint I had about it.
I just rode this one yesterday, it was actually my 1st roller coaster ride, I did one before but it was a really small & simple one so that didnt count. Man i couldnt move at all when it was going lol, and i got a headache from it. It was fun though :) Fast but short!
@@guy1486 well if you domt control your head well itll be moving alot side to side(theres like a soft thing that helps softened if u do hit your head on the sides(. I cant really remember much else though.
This is the first inverted I’ve ever ridden. It’s entertaining, but it seems like a little kitten compared to rides like Montu or Batman. The head rests don’t help. XD
This was my daughter's first coaster. She cried so much the team member asked if she's OK? Mom said "CLEAR". Then she had to ride again with me after child swap. Performed much better. Now she's 18 calling me a b$#@% cuz I won't put my hands up first ride front row Orion. What damage have we caused?
you missed my point entirely...we force our daughter to ride when she was younger and scared and that's what gave her the bravery and confidence to talk shit to her dad years later. not cuz I was scared...just not prepared for first time Orion front row hands up
The second big rollercoaster for me. Really intense, kept my eyes closed and tried to hold my head because it felt so loose I legit thought I’m about to break my neck. Hurt
@@bulls2w haven’t been to Michigan’s Adventure yet. I posted that comment at the beginning of the pandemic and the park just opened for the first time since 2019
Iv only went to Michigan adventures once well kinda twice when I was a baby and when i was 8 now I’m ten I hope I’m gonna go this summer because I have only ride corkscrew because I’m a wimp and I wanna go on wild cat and this ride especially this ride
If I ever win the lottery I would bring this ride, dominator, and steel venom back to Ohio. This ride would get a retrack and new vekoma trains and would be named back to its old name serial thriller, ide have intamin outfit steel venom with more powerful lsm mottors and add a second twisted spike like wicked twister. Would also have a big vertical loop installed before you went up the spike. Last dominator is still in pretty good shape but ide have new trains purchased for it. I would try to recover as many of the geauga lake coasters as I could and bring them back to Ohio. Night even buy the corkscrew they closed and moved before the park closed.
Once when I was on the ride I got stuck in one of the seats I had to get in the exact one a girl was in that got stuck RIGHT BEFORE me lol so not a great experience that time but I've been on it a couple of times

I refused to ride this ride when we went here, but my uncle loved it so much he rode it 3 times.
I mean, it's a short ride, while Shivering Timbers is quite long and the water park is so fun you can spend 4 hours there and lose track of time. Wildcat should get RMC'd.
I’ve rode this ride so many times. It never has hurt me, the key is to keep your head back against the head rest so it doesn’t jerk around
I kept my head in front and feet under
Yea when i was short tho and i just barley fit to make it i like broke my cheek bone-
Right!? Such a good ride

Grand Rapids native with over 100 rides says yes. If you can, ride it barefoot..
I live near GL. The sound of the top of the lift hill is burned into my brain, a nostalgic trigger to the glory days of that park. Miss Serial Thriller so much.
funny enough this *is* serial thriller
@FluffyNuo that's why I made the comment...
I passed out on this so thanks for the video
One of the best rides. I really miss it's old paint, there's just something nostalgic about red and yellow 💛❤️
I have been hurt on here, but this is my favourite ride. My grandma takes my siblings and I there every year, and even she likes that ride (she's 75). My cousins sometimes come with us, and they love this too!
This coaster is so much fun! In my opinion it’s the best coaster at Michigan’s Adventure.
What about Shivering Timbers?
@@TommonSensePro Shivering Timbers was awesome when it first debuted sure but now it’s just way too shaky, bumpy, and whip lash inducing.
@@JohnnyD5 Or maybe you are just aging more than ST and can't handle it anymore.

I was there with Marissa that month. It was our home park coming from Grand Rapids even though we went to Cedar Point more.
Marissa who?
I freaking love this roller coaster I was able to ride it 2 years ago and I love it
The POV makes the rollercoaster not scary at all, I'm planning to ride more rollercoasters when I go next week
At the first drop it's scary but after that the whole ride is lit
The ride is lit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rode this ride at Geagua Lake before the park closed for good.
Wait what??? It’s closed??
@@OrganicDolphin It's been closed since 2007
@@kalamazoo293 lmao
I’m glad they didn’t demolish it and bring it here. It’s a pretty good ride
This was my first real roller coaster I rode when I was a little girl. But it was at Geauga Lake in Ohio.
Such a fun rollercoaster
It didn’t hurt for me, it was awesome
Ride it irl, you’ll have whiplash
Papilxn i did
Ikr
Gp
@@coasterfanatic3441 nope 👎 I’m actually an enthusiast. Don’t be such an asshole tho.
I rode this many times when it was Serial Thriller.
They repainted the Thunderhawk in 2020. It’s now red and seal brown.
Really
Serial Thriller from Geauga Lake. Classic.
I rode it today! I think it’s a Great coaster!
I have a question dies keeping. Neck back not make ur neck hurt and did ur feet feel like they were gonna touch the poles
One of the better Vekoma Suspended Looping Coasters out there. Still kind of rough, but nowhere near as bad as other SLCs.
Problem is that it breaks down so much. I could see them removing it in the next 5 years if cedar fair actually gave a crap
Rode it today and it wasn’t bad at all. Head forward gave a decent ride. One train ops though was a bummer
I remember riding this during my senior trip! I don’t remember it being a bad ride minus loosing an earring. That’s really the only complaint I had about it.

I rode that the 12th of 2021. It was so fun.

Yay it lives! @Theme Park POV
I saw someone lose their flip-flop on this ride at Six Flags Ohio in 2003!
When I rode this their was no line and I rode it 10 times the key to no pain is to keep your head against the head rest and enjoys 😊
I’m going there soon how good are the coasters
They’re mediocre. Definitely not as good as other parks like Cedar Point or Six Flags Great America, but entertaining nonetheless.
I had such a scary dream about Michigan adventures it was so weird 😭🤚
Mind explaining what happened in the dream?
@@guy1486 They ran out of snow-cones so she had to eat the yellow ice out of the urinal.
Me and my dad rode this yesterday, and it was his first time, and mine and I was 52 inches
I love this ride
The thunder hawk like it is really fun but it rips your head back and fourth and like your neck hurts after it
Yah
Same thing actually happened to me on the rock and roller coaster at Disney. How much worse is this than that? In terms of head banging

Is there a trick to riding this coaster without banging my head?
Push your head really hard against one side of the restraint and hold it there.
This is Mi adventure’s Raptor, Shivering timbers is like Magnum, and Wolverine Wildcat is comparable to Gemini.
Shivering Timbers is wood and Magnum is all steel.
ouch, wearing glasses on rough coasters HURTS because you bang your ears witch in turn bangs your earlobe against your glasses and really hurts.
You were supposed to take em off
Easily my second favorite shivering timber’s outdid it but not by much
I remember when I went on this My mom literally thought I passed out but I didn't lmao
I came here when I was seven, I rode all the rides except for this one because I was too short.
Bro when i went on this ride i was screaming cuss words and other stuff but it was fun i had a great time at Michigan Adventure.
Use to be at geuaga lake! Operated as serial thriller at six flags ohio aka six flags worlds of adventure
I’m debating going on this ride
Try to go in the front, it’s really smooth when I was in the front. Haven’t been on the back, so I don’t know the experience in the back rows
The second big rollercoaster for me. Really intense, kept my eyes closed and tried to hold my head because it felt so loose I legit thought I’m about to break my neck. Hurt
this and shivering timbers >>>> any other ride at the park
Great nor Easter is the smoothest SLC
Nice POV man, what camera glasses do you use?
Check description
So according to the Michigan’s Adventure website this coaster has a weight limit of 230 pounds. Is that enforced at all?
Did not know that. I am right on the edge of that limit.
Theme Park POV I’m nearly 90 pounds over that limit and I’m a size 42 right now. Not sure I’d even fit
They have the seat outside the entrance of the ride so you can see if you fit

This broke down when I rode it once, I was on the final break run for like 10+ minutes.
If Cedar wait won't add a new addition to MA, then they should get thunderhalk the "Riddler Revenge" treatment and add vest restraints.
YES
They repainted it tho now
Wasn’t it red and yellow
If this is anything like Mind Eraser at Darien Lake, it bumps your head against the head rests and hurts.
It's a clone of almost all the vekoma slc's
June 2015
Thunderhawk at WTVS Detroit Zahramay
I road this ride 2021 4th of July with my older cousin eddie
