Thanks for giving my home park some attention! I had 30 rides on Shivering Timbers in the last week. One yesterday was in pouring rain, probably the fastest it's ever run for me. I see some comments about it being rough... There are a couple rough spots, on the way up the first two camelbacks. If you aren't in a wheel seat they aren't too bad, but they can sometimes be brutal. I recommend odd numbered rows and the blue train for the smoothest ride. A lot of people say front row is smoothest, but oddly I find it is row 9. The airtime is still good but the laterals are a little weaker in that row.
Row 3 is pretty special too, airtime is great and the laterals are extra strong for some reason, especially the second half of the helix.

I had my only 3 rides on it that same day. I had a rain ride, but the heaviest rain seemed to be falling when i was still waiting in the station. It was my best ride of the 3 and I rode in the second to last row. I returned around 4:30 for 2 consecutive rides. One in the the middle of the train in a wheel seat ( probably about row 6) and I felt a huge pot hole in the pull out of the first drop. I followed that up with a front row ride that I also thought was solid, but just not quite as good as the earlier ride in the back. You're lucky to have this coaster in your home park!

Yay!!! I was waiting for a Michigan's Adventure Countdown. While MI's in my state, due to location (near Detroit) Cedar Point is my home park.
I think Michigan's Adventure is well maintained and a beauty. Shivering Timbers is a thing of beauty. My dream is for them to add another coaster standout to give them a 1-2 punch to make it a true destination, something not found at Great America or Cedar Point, like an RMC single-rail (even though, its rumored that Great America's getting one in 2024), a Mack Launch, or an S & S El Loco, or even a Chance Hyper GTX like Lightning Run, but I know, I know, it's Michigan's Adventure and we'll get a new umbrella or 2 for the benches.

Hydro Blaster really confused me when I saw it open, considering I went on a day when the waterpark was closed. I didn't realize it was those "dry" waterslides. The ones at Bell's were drenching. I didn't ride the ones at Michigans Adventure, since it was cloudy & in the 70s.
Thunderhawk is my # 5. Wolverine Wildcat is by far my 2nd favorite in the park. It was delivering airtime almost as good as Shivering Timbers, so I kept going back & forth, and the ride ops were having so much fun with the guests.

I just found Thunderhawk to be incredibly smooth for an SLC and it showcases the strength of the layout for an SLC. I haven't ridden Riddler Revenge or Great Nor'Easter but I think Thunderhawk is the best SLC that hasn't been modified.

I wont be surprised if almost all enthusiasts go here just for Slivering Timbers and get the rest of the credits once and leave. Maybe fixing up an attraction or adding one, for example, the corkscrew is old and if its forcelss, the nthey should take it out and this park really could use a drop tower.

I Absolutely Love Michigan's Adventure. The setting of the park reminds me So Much of Geagua Lake. This park seems to get So Much Hate from Coaster Enthusiasts. But if you look at the front entrance Facade, it looks just like the former Geagua Lake's Facade. Michigan's Adventure does have a decent collection of Rollercoasters, and Shivering Timbers is Absolutely Awesome!! It's the Blue Streak at Cedar Point on some Very Serious Steroids!! And you're right about the Corkscrew. It's very Smooth, but I don't think that the Trains are uncomfortable. I think what makes this Arrow Dynamics Rollercoaster smoother due to the fact that the inversions doesn't have the Lattice Arch Supports, allowing the track to flex more, vs to what you see on the Corkscrew at Cedar Point. The Lattice Arch Supports are very ugly, and a waste of Steel IMO. I also love the look of the Carolina Cyclone, Corkscrew at Valley Fair, and the Canyon Blaster at Adventure Dome in Las Vegas. Sorry about my small rant about the Arrow Dynamics loopers.🤣🎢❤️
