I went there with my cousins last Thursday and my 4 and 6 year old cousins even went on rides with us like me (11 almost 12) and my cousin (9) were more scared then them lmao

This is just as rough as it looks but they removed the dump track feature that made you feel like you were being thrown out. And it's the first thing you see driving into the park and borders the majority of the parking lot
Just road this today with my 13 yr old son and then my 10 yr old daughter. I absolutely LOVED it at almost 52yrs old. Neither of my kids would go on it again 😂
How many hills do you want?? Yes. Excellent ride for such a simple lay out. My daughter and I make trips to MI Adventure specifically for this ride. Who remembers the trick track before it was removed???

I remember riding this many years ago. The first year it was open, I believe. Michigan’s Adventure was once called Deer Park Funland. All it had was the carnival rides, but it became popular and grew. My aunt and uncle lived just down the road, walking distance.
This is what got me interested in roller coasters back on June 6, 2000. I was very nervous on my first ride due to how tall and steep the first drop is. Still a good ride, but could definitely benefit from a complete retracking from Great Coasters International.
Remember ridiing this the first weekend it opened. Middle school trip broke down on the first holl my buddy Nate caugjt a seagull that was flying around.
anybody think this will be demolished soon? i have no idea, but it’s on my bucket list and would hate to miss out. i’ll have to plan a trip if that’s the case!!
It's their best coaster. They'll replace the track before they demolish it, I hope. This looks like it's gotten really rough over the years. It's been a few for me and I'm not huge on woodies in dire need of a retrack.
Best ride at the park. It hasen been retracked in forever, so it's a little rough and I don't think I could marathon it all day. My home park is Holiday World, so I am used to rough wooden coasters, but this is different. Cedar Fair does not care about this park, less this ride.
I wanted to love this roller coaster so that but unfortunately my own personal opinion of it was that it was extremely aggressive, not fun or a pleasure in any way. After writing this coaster I had to spend the remainder of my day at the park with the worst headache and aching neck. I have been on countless roller coasters of all designs and materials but this is one ride that I will never ride again.

One day it just clicks with you & you might be obsessed with roller coasters one day. I just took my boyfriends 9 & 11 year old siblings on this ride last week. This was there first coaster ever, the 11 year old wasn’t excited but after that first ride he was so in love with roller coasters and ended up going on all the big ones. I went on the big red one there with a bunch of little kids and they kept jumping back in line, riding it over and over again. I think you should try the red one for sure! This wooden one was way too rough for me. The smooth ones aren’t scary at all, just give them a try. 💙
True story I rode this with my mom . My 2 year old sister was in her stroller . My dad was watching my sister while me and Ma rode this coaster . Halfway through it I did number 2 in my pants . I was so embarrassed when I got off my mom told me to sit in the stroller because my pants had poop all over them lmaoo . Mom was pushing me in my little sisters stroller while my dad had to hold my baby sister The only thing I was missing was wearing a diaper in the stroller lmaoo My mom was laughing her ass off the whole time as we were leaving the park for the night She told me why don’t we put one of your sisters diapers on you lmaoo 😅😊 In the end we had an amazing time A memory I will never forget I love thrill rides ❤

This is arguably the best wooden roller coaster in the world. Tucked away in Muskegon, Michigan. A true gem!

Yeah! Shivering Timbers!!!! I love this ride! It's scary, fast, and airtime-y.
The air time was great on this ride, and it wasn't too rough.

it wasn’t removed i was there yesterday and it was still there..
The trick track on the return trip was removed about 6-7 years ago. It was replaced by a “double up” element.
This thing looks like such a beast. Can't wait to ride.
Elite tier woodie, I actually like this more than outlaw run and Goliath at great america. So much airtime

Awesome Aleks Holiday World is one of my main parks also. I love wooden coasters so I hope to ride Shivering Timbers at least once.
