    Only thing keeping me hesitant for now is the advanced switching of loops on/off. With using the h9 in parallel this is key.

      Kerry - I was wondering the same, but for the H90. If I remember correctly from the previous video on this looper, the workaround is to save another preset that is the same chain but does not include whichever pedal you don’t want in the signal chain. e.g. H9/90. @Morningstar please confirm (or not, if I’ve got it wrong!) - thx.
      PS I know you can run parallel chains in the H90 (and I do use them), but I would like to be able to have my dry signal in parallel without routing it through the H90’s internal software as a wet/dry insert. Partly for tonal reasons and partly because if you route wet/dry inside the H90, and you disengage the current programme in the H90, you lose your dry amp.

      @@onenotesolo256 right but you still can’t shut loops on and off via cc messages in advanced mode. Another preset doesn’t help as you’d need multiple presets for which combo of effects you want on and off. Definitely hoping they update this soon here. Even basic stereo routing is “advanced”.

      @@SweetcornTA you could set your h9 in parallel and fully wet, kill the dry and use the mix cc command to toggle your reverb/delay in and out

      @@sammaddison2085that’s what I do, but that isn’t the issue. The issue is once you are in advanced mode you can’t switch any of the loops on/off via cc so for the non-midi pedals…

    can you make a vdo on different signal routing like stereo or wet dry wet set up?

    Truly, I really like you product and everything but I would have liked it even more if the switches were built in the unit. Just like all the other looper switcher in the planet. Also, maybe adding 3 or 5 more stereo loops would make it more pleasing for others like me.

    I'm super keen on this. Briliant. I noticed the website say "you can also link multiple ML10Xs for more loops". How does this work? Does it create one big group of 20 loops or two separate groups of 10? Tia.

    • @MorningstarEngineering
      @MorningstarEngineering  Год назад +2

      Hi. 2 groups of 10. You can reorder within each ML10X but not across separate units.

    I have a question about how certain more complicated setups would work on the ML10X, such as when using the Dual Routing configuration on the Eventide H90, where the two sides/effects are controlled independently.
    Let's say I have a pedalboard with an MC6 PRO, an ML10X, an Eventide H90, and other pedals, and I want to set things up so that the two sides of the H90 (I will call them Side A and Side B) can be placed in different orders between other pedals in the loop switcher.
    For example, in some cases I may want both Side A and Side B to be placed after all of the other pedals in the loop switcher (ex. running a delay on Side A, and a reverb on Side B), but in other cases I may want Side A BEFORE certain pedals/loops, but still want Side B to be at the end (ex. running a distortion on Side A, and a delay on Side B).
    How would this look in terms of I/O? Would all of the pedals' regular I/O connections, including the H90, be in ML10X loops, with the H90 taking two loops (either mono or stereo)? And then the MIDI I/O connections would go from the MC6 PRO -> ML10X -> H90 -> other MIDI pedals? And then I would configure presets to order the loops appropriately, including Side A and Side B, and send MIDI messages down the MIDI pedal chain to control them based on MIDI channels?

    Is there a blend feature for the loops?

    • @MorningstarEngineering
      @MorningstarEngineering  Год назад +1

      Hi. There is not. Merged signals are averaged out based on incoming volumes. You will have to adjust the blend mix at the pedal level

    I’ve spent a day trying to get this to work with my mc8 and the only way it did was using the built in sysex messages from the mc8 to the ml10. Standard cc messages it ignored. WTF.
