These are such a great design. From the horns to the headstock, the shape of the f holes, layout of the controls, even the little fin on the pickguard. Never seen such a beautiful semi-hollowbody.
I have been playing the Rivolta Combinata for over a year and it is a fabulous guitar. Plays smooth as silk and the tones are outstanding. Also the look of of the Combinata is unique. It looks like I need to make room in the studio for my new Regata VII.
I have a Combinata XVII in Burgundy Mist and it's an AMAZING guitar and I own a Les Paul R9, Custom Shop Tele, Duesenberg Starplayer Deluxe and several others, the Combinata XVII is right up there with them in tone and playability. I did upgrade the bridge to the TonePros locking bridge with roller saddles because the import bridges do move a bit when using the tremolo so tuning stability wasn't the greatest. But after I upgraded the bridge the guitar is perfect!
I’ve been eyeing 335’s and 345’s for a while but I think I’m going with the Ebony Regatta. Are the pickups in these Alnico or Ceramic? I wish Eastwood would detail that more on these guitars, they sort of gloss over it in the specs.
maybe its good bass has less variety of gear . . . who am I kidding? Right? This is excellent guitar and both the hubs and I like RJ's jamz, that fano inspired is nice nice nice! This is on his list 2.
Imagine my disappointment when I finally purchased and received an authentic vintage 1959 Telecaster, and I couldn't make phone calls or catch a fish with it.
You've lost us on this one. Really not sure what "odd looking thing" you're referring to, but feel free to email info@eastwoodguitars.com with questions on any of our models
Anyone know what amps, pedals, attenuator Mr. Ronquillo is playing through to demo this guitar? Trying to zoom in to see but it's too blurry. Thanks in advance!
if you want any guitar to sound absolutely incredible, regardless of price/specs, have RJ demo it. If you want any guitar to sound absolutely horrible, regardless of price/specs, send it to The Tone King.

really reminiscent of the Languedoc guitar brand
Very tasteful playing with a lot of great lines. Very soothing to listen to. Thank God there is no shredding.
Certainly the best looking Rivolta so far!

That headstock is too good. Turns this from a jazz classic into a rock machine.
@Emery Darwin yup, been watching on flixzone} for years myself =)
@Emery Darwin Yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for since november myself :D
I always think these should have a slash style ‘f’ hole ..Sounds great

how is the build quality on these rivoltas? what would you compare it to ? thank you
Eastwood build quality exceeds its price point.
Ah yes, so glad it’s named the VII as a SIX-string guitar
I have a Gibson Firebird I. Was so disappointed when it arrived with more than 1 string attached.

The ones youre selling have the odd looking thing on the bridge but what is it?

They must be trems that are not hooked up.
You guys gonna make a 7-string version and call it the IX?
About the same time there's a Flying V that comes with a propeller and rudder controls, I imagine?

He has a series of videos where he lays down his demo setups.
I want this guitar so bad
How about the Bass VI Resonator?
1979 Alembic Standard Point Guitar Would Be Nice

I spent a few minutes trying to look for this post, but realized I was on the Novo channel LOL viewing RJ's regata playing .
It sorta sounds like a tele, but with more balls.
RJ could could make a tennis racket sound good. …you can’t base your opinion of a guitar off of his playing lol.
